From Irish to Australian Senators staging walkouts, to the streets of london witnessing a million man march in solidarity with Palestine, to teenagers in the US now referring to Osama bn Laden as a hero due to the current war in Gaza, not talking of Italy and Spain's zero backing and even apparent disdain, its lost completely the blackmail line its been using in the past to make nations and people cower: 'You are an anti-semite'. themanderon: Hamas needs to restock their armoury. The Israelis should watch out for that. They usually do this during any cycle of the war. They agree to release hostages, get guarantees and after a few years they strike again. There can be no peace in Israel with Hamas breathing down their necks. A renegade Hamas fighter revealed how they are trained for death right from a young age. They are told that the sole purpose of being alive is to ensure one dies as a Martyr. They are usually told to lie in open graves where they do those Islamic incantations. He said the attacks on Oct 7 is just a tip of the iceberg of what Hamas is capable of. How do you defeat someone whose sole purpose is to die for his demonic god? Israel has found a way to do just that. Send them to their maker in hell as soon as possible. Islam is a deeply wicked religion. It is not of God. The brutality the former Hamas member described is out of this world. There are no moderate Muslims. It's either you are a fundamentalist or nothing. This is deep. Can I get source to this confession/revelation. |

FreeStuffsNG: I thought some people said Isreal will not give in to Hamas.smh
The battle has ended and the next stage is happening inside Israel where the supremacist far right politicians and PM Netanyahu will all be sacked if not being likely assassinated by aggrieved opponents.
Pm Netanyahu has nothing to show for his relentless bombing and killing of defenceless babies and women of Palestine. With likely war crime hanging around his head and the same people he believed he was fighting for now calling for his head, he lost and should by now be regretting coming back to that office by compromising for the far right politicians. His normalization of ties with the Arabs has been frustrated and shredded by Hamas as no Arab country is interested any more.
His investigation at ICC will still proceed regardless of his country's non membership of ICC and arrest warrant issued against him like it was done for President Putin.
All the killings on both sides must be investigated. Netanyahu won a battle but lost a war to Hamas that got what they wanted. Check my signature for free stuffs! You should change your news source. You're getting all the wrong news. |

Instead of lamenting the poor monetary conditions, the Tinubu government must come clean on the level of bankruptcy, investigate what led to it, and probe those who participated in the acts that wrecked the country and bring them to book, not minding whose ox is gored. is what may never happen as the corruption cuts across ethnic groups and religions. The president might be doing the best he can but as long as the loopholes are not closed, it's just an exercise in futility because some group of people will be somewhere making a mess of his best actions.
Reason why corruption must be a capital offence in this country if we are to achieve greatness and the execution must be immediate once the matter has been concluded at the supreme court. |

MSN1: I have been having this big question about how we behave in ceremonies, MOSTLY Nigerians.
Personally, i think the idea of throwing money and announcing donation amounts in ceremonies is a very awkward practice. The funniest thing is; they have taken it to d church. The harvest i attended last Sunday, they turned it to money competition, just imagine in the house of God. I just picked myself and moved out.
The fact is; Giving / Gifts ought to be between the giver and receiver, thats all.
I don't spray money or announce any donations i make. Whatever i have, i drop quietly and move, if i don't have anything,i show face 4 ur ceremony and move, I LIVE TO MPRESS ONLY GOD.
I am currently in a function and the thing is just pissing me off. One bad thing i noticed is; The higher your money, the higher the claps and cheers, very bad indeed. Clapping heavily for som1 that worth more than 5million, donating 100k and less for the one that has ONLY 20k home and Abroad while donating 5k, is FOOLISHNESS TO ME.
One thing i like about my landlord is; his simplicity and low key giving, Nigga amazes me everytime. The gentle man has more than 50 people he pays school fees for, he donates and contribute heavily in d community his charity work is extremely amazing but u wud NEVER know. That is how it ought to be. A gift that is sounded and announced is no longer a gift to me.
Pls for those of u that have travelled abroad, is this bad behaviour also rampant there? Most places you term "house of God" are just temples of marmon. |

Krismas: I believe it is intellectual fraud to INSIST Emperor Hadrian invented the name SyriaPalestina for Judaea out of thin air with no recourse to historical context of the area. The area has been known as Palestine since the 5th century long before Judaea was even conceptualized. I think Hadrian called Judaea Syria-Palestine cos the Northern tribes of Israel was already assimilated by Syria. And Judaea was the Palestinian half. There is enough resources to show Palestine precede Judaea as the name for the region. And it’s no mistake that Empire after Empire that ruled the place after the Romans left didn’t adjust that fact. You can checkout the work of Spencer McDaniels this. https://talesoftimesforgotten.com/ Very comprehensive. JUST GOOGLE TALES OF TIMES FORGOTTEN
Wot I believe on Cyrus half Jewishness is not as important as the fact that the Jews believe this themselves. Equally I think i have showed you Genesis 26:1 Where Isaac met Abimelek in Gerar and was described as king of the philistines. It’s enough for me that Gerar is a ciry in West Bank. Ofcourse pro-Israeli sentiments will reject any suggestion that the 9th century Judaea was Palestine. But notice the UN has rejected Jerusalem as capital of Israel and accepted east Jerusalem as capital of the Palestinian state. Is the UN mistaken? How about the fact that only America and four other countries recognize Jerusalem as capital of Israel? And those countries don’t include France or Britain? I think the world knows where the truth lies Thanks and bye Really? UN recognized east Jerusalem as capital of israel instead of a separated body they've advocating for? Wow!!! Thanks and bye too. Will read up the link over the week. Enjoy your week. |

Palestine is incapable of challenging israel let alone eliminate jews. Israel is the agressor, not Palestine. I mean this much is obvious to the blind! Did you just say Palestine were incapable of challenging Israel and they carried out an attack knowing that? Or is this your own opinion? My conclusion are these: 1. Israel did wrong by pushing Palestinians out of the original partition assigned to them. 2. Palestinians should have resorted to political resolution using other Arab states instead of armed struggle. The armed struggle has escalated things so badly. The armed struggle has always being because they want total eradication of israel which is not working. 3. When Palestinian got Gaza back, they should have resorted to tech. driven development while sourcing for aids from Arab states. |

Krismas: I truly believe I need to include a 9th century map of the area in question at this stage of the debate.
1. ON SCRIPTURAL GROUND The land Israel occupied was never only dat of the Canaanites. They occupied those of the philistines as well. And thruout the reign of David, there were endless wars with philistines. The entire 9th century Judaea was Philistine land. Places like Jerusalem, Hebron, Beersheba, Lachish, were all philistine. U can google this to verify.
2. THE EUROPEANS Keep in mind that ISRAEL was broken into two by the 9th century into Israel and Judah. How can you call the entire region Judaea therefore? Cyrus who was half Jew being the child of Esther and Xerxes, was sympathetic to Jewish rebuilt of the walls of Jerusalem and Temple refurbishment. But that is not when the kingdom of Judaea really kicked off. It was the Greeks, precisely Alexander the Great, that gave a nod to the idea and the kingdom of Judaea was official under the Seleucids as the Hasmonean dynasty. So too did the Roman senate crown Herod the great as king of Judaea after 2yrs of his lobbying for it. No surprise Romans had Judaea on their maps. However the place, from river to sea has always being Palestine thru all ancient times far back 5th century 600yrs b4 Hadrian revived the name to Roman prominence for wotever reason. I'm not good at map reading and can only interpret it howbeit crudely if my life is at stake. I know about its borders from a book: Jewish war by josephus and that was during the Roman empire. On the issue of war between israel and philistine. It was more of a power struggle. 2 sam11:1 shows how they behave around that period. More like the cold war of USA and USSR that had nothing to do with land. Jerusalem was.never a philistine land. It originally belonged to the jubusites who were more of canaanites. The city was jebus before David took it it a battle and renamed it Jerusalem. It has never belonged to the philistines. Please don't tell me you believe that crap about cyrus being the son of esther. It has no historical nor scriptural backing. It's just what it is, old wives tale. Moreover, the jews were not the only beneficiary of cyrus kindness. History showed he did same for so many other nationals whom the kings of Babylon deported to Babylon. Like I state and this is supported by history, the name was changed to Syria Palaestina by emperor Hadrian. This was after the jews lost the 3rd Jewish-Roman war. The jews were expelled, judea leveled to the ground and the name changed. It was done for 2 known reasons: 1. To spite the jews by naming it after 2 of their known enemies: Syria and philistines. 2. The break their heritage claim to that land which is part of what is playing out today. https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Bar_Kokhba_revolt |

Read this paragraph again: The company found that SDQ Facilitators began processing a significantly high volume of transactions from May to August. The account’s transactions were found to closely mirror those processed by Hekima International, a previous FX brokerage firm on the platform. This suggests that Hekima may have redirected some of its clients to SDQ Facilitators. The internal investigation turned up a few victims who revealed that they were introduced to SDQ Facilitators by a Hekima associate when they were unable to process their transactions on the platform. Krismas:
Indeed there was a feature called the BIGHT OF BIAFRA in the SE b4 1966. This is exactly the point of Palestine in the Middle East. In the Bible u quoting, check Genesis 26:1-6
Genesis 26:1 AND THERE was a famine in the land, other than the former famine that was in the days of Abraham. And Isaac went to Gerar, to Abimelech king of the Philistines. Genesis 26:2 And the Lord appeared to him and said, Do not go down to Egypt; live in the land of which I will tell you. Genesis 26:3 Dwell temporarily in this land, and I will be with you and will favor you with blessings; for to you and to your descendants I will give all these lands, and I will perform the oath which I swore to Abraham your father. Genesis 26:4 And I will make your descendants to multiply as the stars of the heavens, and will give to your posterity all these lands (kingdoms); and by your Offspring shall all the nations of the earth be blessed, or by Him bless themselves, [Gen. 22:18; Acts 3:25, 26; Gal. 3:16.] Genesis 26:5 For Abraham listened to and obeyed My voice and kept My charge, My commands, My statutes, and My laws. Genesis 26:6 So Isaac stayed in Gerar.
In verse one Isaac met Abimelek the king of philistines in Gerar (West Bank) Infact in chapter 20 of Genesis, Abraham himself was the first to encounter this king. There was nothing like Judaea then, which really is today West Bank. In every single record u care to check it was Palestinian land from the Jordan river to the sea. European powers created Judaea under the Maccabees the Hismons and till date, Israel is a European creation in the Middle East That bight of biafra was not the present SE and I hope you know this. Secondly, no where in my post did I quote the bible and I hope you are not mistaking me for someone else. On scriptural ground, the land israel occupies was the land of the canaanites and not that of the philistines. In fact, during the peak of the kingdom of israel in the days of king solomon, there was still the kingdom of philistines and no one complained. Again actually, it was not the Europeans that started Judea (a corruption of judah). It was Cyrus the great. Not only did he do it for the jews but for other nationals in Babylon when he conquered it. The Greeks that conquered persians just took over governing the land so also did the Roman's. Again, I pointed out the Roman record that identifies the region as Judea and pointed out the emperor that brought the term Syria-palestia and why he did it. It's all in history so the place has not being Palestine all through the ancient times. |

allthingsgood: Israel has been attacking unprovoked for decades. It’s Israel that pushed all the Palestinians into the tiny space called Gaza. Israel randomly cuts off electricity and food, just for no reason. The reason I asked that question was because of this quote from you: The only reason israel is in gaza today is to eliminate Palestine and take over their land. They've been on these cat and mouse game for years but with that attack, it became a declaration of war. Israel hasn't been attacking unprovoked. Agreed, they set up a form a apartheid system for the Palestinians who is anti-humanity in my opinion but the Palestinians have always been the ones provoking the Israelis and I believe it was because of a system that is dehumanizing. |

Krismas:
Emperor Hadrian was only naming the place properly 135BC. U history perspective is very rigged
The term "Peleset" (transliterated from hieroglyphs as P-r-s-t) is found in five inscriptions referring to a neighboring people, who are generally identified with the Philistines,[2] or their land Philistia, starting from circa 1150 BCE during the Twentieth Dynasty of Egypt. The first known mention is at the Medinet Habu temple which refers to the Peleset among those who fought against Egypt during Ramesses III's reign,[3] and the last known is 300 years later on Padiiset's Statue. The Assyrians called the same region "Palashtu/Palastu" or "Pilistu," beginning with Adad-nirari III in the Nimrud Slab in c. 800 BCE through to an Esarhaddon treaty more than a century later.[4][5] Neither the Egyptian nor the Assyrian sources provided clear regional boundaries for the term.[6]
The term "Palestine" first appeared in the 5th century BCE when the ancient Greek historian Herodotus wrote of a "district of Syria, called Palaistinê" between Phoenicia and Egypt in The Histories.[7] Herodotus provides the first historical reference clearly denoting a wider region than biblical Philistia, as he applied the term to both the coastal and the inland regions such as the Judean Mountains and the Jordan Rift Valley.[8][9][10][11] Later Greek writers such as Aristotle, Polemon and Pausanias also used the word, which was followed by Roman writers such as Ovid, Tibullus, Pomponius Mela, Pliny the Elder, Dio Chrysostom, Statius, Plutarch as well as Roman Judean writers Philo of Alexandria and Josephus.[12] There is not currently evidence of the name on any Hellenistic coin or inscription.[13]
In the early 2nd century CE, the term "Syria Palaestina"[a] (literally, "Palestinian Syria"[14][15]) was given to a Roman province incorporating Judaea and other territories, either before or after the suppression of the Bar Kokhba revolt in 135.[16][17][18][19] In around the year 390, during the Byzantine period, the imperial province of Syria Palaestina was then reorganized into Palaestina Prima, Palaestina Secunda[20] and Palaestina Salutaris.[20] Following the Muslim conquest, place names that were in use by the Byzantine administration generally continued to be used in Arabic,[4][21] and the Jund Filastin became one of the military districts within the Umayyad and Abbasid province of Bilad al-Sham.[22]
The use of the name "Palestine" became common in Early Modern English,[23] was used in English and Arabic during the Mutasarrifate of Jerusalem. The term was used widely as a self-identification by Palestinians from the start of the 20th century onwards.[24] In the 20th century the name was used by the British to refer to "Mandatory Palestine," a territory from the former Ottoman Empire which had been divided in the Sykes–Picot Agreement and secured by Britain via the Mandate for Palestine obtained from the League of Nations.[25] Starting from 2013, the term was officially used in the eponymous "State of Palestine."[26] Both incorporated geographic regions from the land commonly known as Palestine, into a new state whose territory was named Palestine. Apologies, it was 135AD not BC. I'm not talking bout what people called the area. I'm talking about its official tittle. Pontius Pilate was the Roman governor of the province of Judea. The incident of 135AD was an official name change to spite the jews. Roman documents earlier that 135AD identified that region as Judea. Read the bolded. This is similar to calling a place Biafra in SE. Would you say that the place was named biafra in 1966 because it was called so by some people up till today? |
