How do you manage to create front page topics. Only a few topics of mine made fronthpage and they were health related. Shouldnt you consider content creation rather than doing it for Seun Osewa for free? Samantha124: An acquaintance told me about it.
Well, I joined last year, but eventually deactivated my previous account. |

I was in a Ghanaian forum before I joined nairaland... I want to learn about other Africans. |

Thank you, how about the drug lords ? Where is Invitus? Before the day runs out, we will see your brothers on front page doing what they know how to do best. Ndi developer Unperturbedpota: 🤣🤣 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
This tribe and propaganda!!!!
No be this same USA I dey?. Funny thing is you see them call the Igbos chest beaters but these guys always look for anything any anyOne says about Yoruba and are quick to popularize it even when the person is just trolling or totally insignificant 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
Do you know how many foreign languages and cultures are propagated in tech daily ? Afrikaans is the number one recognized language from African continent globally yet you don't see the Zulus dancing that the white man has recodnized them 🤣🤣
I am sure the Nairaland tribe chiefs will be dancing to this mediocre news. This nigga using you all to troll
There is no where Yoruba is recodnized specifically. I live in the US and have family in the UK .
The UK metro police started employing Yoruba speakers solely for the number of crimes commited by Yoruba speaking people in the UK so they wanted to be able to intercept and decode the calls . Because these criminals use yoruba only to speak on the phone in texts and in emails so the UK metro police had to find a way to intercept this. But here they are dancing as if it's a positive reason they are employed😂😂😂😂
Don't believe me, contact the UK metropolice help desk ! This info is available to the public. Yorubas are profiled in the UK as the number 1 tribe that commits all cyber crime from Nigeria. Reno is just exposing it all, we all know. At one point it was the Jamaicans. Go to Peckham and Kent na Yoruba gangs full there 🤣🤣
Same way Italia police employ people who speak Esan in Palermo doesnt make my mum's people the main culture in Italy
Which Nigerian here in America won't tell yoú the truth that the Yoruba run gangs here?. They steal cars everyday and ship to Nigeria, na their work ! Plus Account hacking, Credit card fraud , identify theft that's what they do here in America mostly . They work with the Asians and are masters of all manner of tax frauds and such. The American police whenever they arrest Nigerian involved in fraud assume 100% you are yoruba . Facts only |

Are you serious, never knew its that bad, do you feel thesame on flight? I only felt abit dizzy on my first flight and my first time on an elevator. Aside that, I'm fine, feels like Im just in my home no matter how long the distance is. The only problem I have is finding it very difficult to sleep on trips. I envy people who just fall asleep given the slightest opportunity Samantha124: Consider yourself lucky because it's not something you'd want to experience at all.

I really dont think so, because I was a victim of that ailment, like it happened anywhere, sleeping, eating, during exams or just on normal days. I never for once felt threatened about it, just the slight embarassment that comes with it every now and then. Now I cant remember the last time I bleed. Havent seen blood in my nose in the last 5 years. Nose bleeding use my eyes see shege pro max, It left me as I grow older Samantha124: 1. Car sickness... If I'm traveling long distances, especially in the morning, I get sick... I start sweating, having short breath, getting nauseous and eventually throwing up... Same thing happens when I perceive the smell of cigarettes/weed.
Last time I threw up due to traveling long distances was this past Saturday, I had no choice because some things just had to be done in the morning, especially on weekends... As I was driving, I felt my condition getting worse but I had to keep driving because already I was running late... It was only when I felt that I couldn't keep up anymore that I parked on the roadside and threw up... I stayed outside the car for a while for some fresh air.
When I reached my destination, I started feeling better and the nausea started to suppress, only for this old man who smelled a cigarette/weed to come my way, I tolerated the smell hoping that he'll leave, but he just kept talking non-stop... The smell triggered the nausea again and before I knew it, I threw up for the second time... But fortunately, I had a sickness bag inside my hand bag because I always prepare myself for such situations whenever I'm traveling long distances.
It's like it runs within the family because I'm told that my maternal grandmother used to have the same condition, my aunt and sister are also experiencing the same thing... We have car sickness.
2. Nosebleeding... Like car sickness, this is something I've struggled with since I was a child... I could be playing, eating, sleeping, or just sitting back and doing nothing and my nose would just start bleeding... It used to be more frequent when I was a child, but as I got older it decreased to a point that I can now go a very long time without nose bleeding... But now some of my sisters' kids are experiencing the same problem.
Just last night I was talking to my 8 years old nephew over a video call when I noticed something coming out of his nose and it was blood... The boy wasn't even sick.
I've never met anyone outside of my family who can relate to having these two conditions... So I'm just curious to know if there's anyone who can relate in here. |

You dont have to be bitten twice, take your time. If its too good to be true, its probably not true, maybe there is a catch? Or what do I know seff! Madam, just make your decision abeg! Oruebube2024: Good day nlanders,I will make this short as possible.
I arrived France early this year(January) for my postgraduate studies
Just after some months,I met an eu guy. It was love at first sight. He is good looking, well to do,takes care of me ,and infact I am begining to feel that the talk of western men not spending on women is a myth.
He proposed august and I was excited but worried about how fast things moved. I am yet to get used to this new environment .
I informed my parents but they are not as excited I am reasons being that they wanted me to settle with a Nigerian with papers. They have been citing how westerners don't value marriage, easily divorce etc but I am cool with him.
He plans to adopt my daughter and I bring her over, but my parents insist on my daughter growing in Nigeria till she is 18 so that she doesn't get polluted with LGBTQ,atheism and other strange influences .
I am really confused about everything and have been praying for God guidance.
What if the Nigerian men in diaspora are not forthcoming?but they don't see it this way.
I will be waiting in the comment section. |

Who spareheaded the protest? your guess is as good as mine. No matter the population of Lagos, Igbos can not be more than Indigenes and south westerners in Lagos. All sounth western states indigenes resides in lagos hence your assumption is null and void. Offpointng: Brothers You and I know for sure, there are larger populations of Ibos in Lagos than any other tribe and that includes Yorubas. I have every reason to doubt that protest against Jonathan was orchestrated by Yorubas. If not why was there silence in Oyo, Osun, Ondo and Ekiti?? Why was the protest only massive in Ibo filled Lagos?? Ibos plotted and caused Jonathan's downfall not Yorubas |

I can attest to this, most african countires are very envious of us Anitatunde: Part 5 and Final.
1 week to my release date, I received various death threats from all corners. The prison warden which I slept with also started acting crazy.
The guy think say prison na my house because he was sad and convinced me to stay back, abi you Dey mad ni Omo prison warden.
How do you expect me to give up my freedom and chose to stay in prison. Since the threats was coming left and right, I had to personally request to be moved to a different prison. But it was bounced.
The night to my release was the longest night. I couldn’t sleep all night because I don’t know what’s next for me. I stayed up all night.
Finally it was day break, 6am sharp, I was called up after doing all paper works and stuff. I booked a flight straight to MMIA Lagos from my savings in prison + other money at hand.
I was to be deported immediately. Police men took me to the airport like a celebrity, stayed with me till my flight was due.
They watched me enter the ✈️. I smiled and told one of the guys “I will be back”.
The story is longer than this but I had to summarize everything. I learnt a lot of lessons in my time in Tanzania, nobody loves Nigerians. They might like our music and movies but the hatred for Nigerians is very real.
Stay safe, stay blessed and be wise. Thanks for reading. Feel free to tag nairaland mods. |

Na me dey always choose last, more of the reason why I dont know how to play football till date Kalatium: Gone are the days when boys were real boys as I look back in nostalgia. Below were rules of football when we were kids, damn it was fun
1. The fat kid was always the goalkeeper.
2.The owner of the ball decides who plays .
3. If you didn't participate in repairing the ball you were given a match ban.
4. The guy who's never picked was to fetch the ball from the trees or bush when it got stuck, under the car or tunnel to play in the next game.
5. When the owner of the ball got annoyed, game over.
6. When you hit your toes against a stone and you notice blood, you quickly cover the area of injury with sand as a form of first aid and play continues.
7. You can't dribble the owner too much, this may lead him to stop the game by taking away his ball.
8. No matter how many goals you scored, the winner would be determined by the last team to score.
9.No offsides.
10.There is no referee.
11.There is fault only if the fault is serious .
12.The 2 best players can not play in the same team so everyone chooses their players.
13.If you are chosen last it is a humiliation and you will remain in defense.
14.If there is a penalty the goalkeeper is replaced by the best player of the team.
15.The best player on the field is always in the same team as the owner of the ball.
16.There is always a house where if the ball fell there, we knew that the game was over. so be careful !!
17. To distinguish the teams, one of the teams take off their shirts .
18.Game over when its dark and we can barley see the ball, we all disperse in groups teasing one another until we get home to face another punishment from our parents.
Africa is our home. Childhood was fun. |
