Spy360: The whole world knows that City can't defend. But they can keep the ball. So when we go compact and leave them little spaces, we can catch them open on the counter, with Sanchez, Walcott and Ozil, they will be at our mercy.
This is theory though. This theory works for a team with character. You tried this very thing first leg and couldn't cross your half especially in the 2nd half against them. You know your team: once anyone starts pressing them they fold. It is virtually impossible for AFC to win a game they don't play well in. That's the story of your team. |

Spy360: The premise was a conditional statement that would warrant Wenger the right for an extention.
Yes, we can beat Chelsea. We beat them 3-0 already this season. How many years ago? The most recent game was a 3-1 loss. Apart from being unable to defend, AFC is spineless. Even if they started well against CFC, you would still gift them a cheap penalty or get a red card. That's how fragile your team is. You needed a fortuitous Ozil goal to begin to show flair against West-Ham and started well against Bayern only to collapse through silly defending and a red card. You should have no confidence in AFC. TBH |

Spy360: With our style of play we could easily beat City with the way they defend. We only need drive, focus and determination. The goals we conceded against them lasy Sun were due to defensive errors. If we are compact and counter attack, they can't survive us.
Wembly will be a neutral ground- winner take all. So expect an open game.
Meanwhile...
Did you notice Gabriel's performance last night. So the goals City conceded were not due to defensive errors? If AFC are compact and counter-attack City can't survive you but if they keep possession of the ball and create a load of chances AFC will survive? What match have you seen this season that precipitates such confidence abeg? |

positivelord: Bro, I think you got my point. Our differences now is whether 30 million naira can go as a gift. The law is explicit on this ....you cannot give a judge presiding over your case money or gift . the ICPC act aptly regard any such gratification as corruption and its now left for the parties involve to proof it otherwise. So #500,000 or #30,000,000 goes as corruption. You cannot do it selectively. So if I went to the wedding of my friend who is a judge I should not give a gift simply because he is presiding over a case that I am defending? No, it makes no sense. There should be something like a subtle way of administering wise judgement and one way to determine that is to reason if the lawyer delivering the gift is capable of affording said money and if the money in question is substantial enough to subvert justice. It beggars belief that anyone will tender $1200 as a bribe to counter the claim that someone else offered $77k to influence a judgment. And when we place this along with the fact that the "wedding gift" was given 2 months to the wedding- I mean, which fully-functional judgement dismisses this as a lack of evidence. |

rusher14: Is it reasonable to believe a 30 million Naira gift to a presiding judge is simply a wedding gift?
Is it reasonable to give such a gift in March when the wedding wasn't till May 9, 2015?
The prosecution also alleged in about five other counts, that Justice Ademola, through his wife, received gratification of N30m in three installments of N10m each from Agi between March 11 and March 26, 2015.
https://www.google.com.ng/amp/punchng.com/buharis-lawyer-gave-justice-ademola-n500000/amp/
He also confirmed that Agi had explained under interrogation that the sum of N30m was the money contributed by his and Justice Ademola’s mutual friends for the judge’s daughter’s wedding ceremony.
On the other hand, Buhari's Lawyer claims:
It is a fact that the sum of money mentioned was personally paid by me as a friend to Mr. Justice Ademola as a personal gift, as our custom well recognises and demands on the occasion of his daughter’s high society wedding solemnised at the Cathedral Church of Christ, Marina, Lagos, on the 9th of May 2015, which I attended in person. To add to that, if the N30M was a gift for the wedding (incredible as it is) then what is N8.5M BMW car for? |

Politics › Re: Court Unfreezes Patience Jonathan's Account With $5.9million by Eruditor: 2:48pm On Apr 06, 2017 |
freeze001: Having or possessing any sum of money is not automatically a crime. To establish any sum of money as a proceed of crime, the prosecution must prove what offence was committed that gave rise to that sum or in the case of the judge, must tie that sum to a particular case and the giver of such a sum. The prosecution will also need to show that the judgment given occasioned a miscarriage of justice which would otherwise have not occurred but for the said sum in his possession being claimed as some form of inducement.
I hope this helps u understand how the law works so you don't keep demonising the judiciary/courts. The EFCC and DSS are aware of the stringent requirements of the law but still fly off half-cocked then unlearned persons fill the space with undeserved sympathy and the erroneous belief that the court has condoned corruption. Intelligent sophistry. There is such a thing as a judgement of sensitivity where the account remains frozen and not confiscated or returned to govt coffers. The rationale behind unfreezing the account because of a want of evidence supporting the accusation exposes the corruption in the judicial system. In Virginia in 2013, a Mayor was forced to resign because his wife purchased an $8000 wristwatch. Had it been Nigeria, the argument would have been for the prosecution to provide evidence that $8000 was missing from somewhere and that it was transferred to the account of the Mayor. That just smacks off idiocy and lack of judicial competence. Even if the prosecution cannot provide evidence that the sum of say N500M was missing from an account and could not trace how that sum was lodged in the account of one Justice Ademola, the very tenets of common sense should make the judge allow that account to remain frozen while investigations are ongoing. I mean, this is not some ExxonMobil CEO that can always prove his annual remunarations can get to that sum. This is a chief judge who tendered evidence about his remunerations and emoluments in a year and it did not exceed N25M yet this judge does not think it egregious that Justice Ademola has N500M in his account. And you are here, using fine-sounding hogwash to bamboozle unsuspecting and sometimes asinine youths that the judgement is fair simply because you hate PMB. I am sorry for you. |

Celtics were never gonna win homecourt, they'd better focus on a tough first round with the Heat or Bulls which can go either way. Can't a brother have a dream? I had said it before to our resident Celtics fan that Al Horford doesn't do enough for his max deal. This team relies so much on a 5'9 PG for points. That says it all. I never thought they were good enough to beat Cavs in a 7 game series but I wanted the illusion of a chance and that would have been possible with homecourt. Anyways, it was fun while the dream lasted. I think they are 1-All star away from really competing. Ainge messed up the trades, I thought they were going for Butler or Cousins. Side note: first team to 65 wins 3 consecutive seasons. Happy with the home court advantage. I pray against injuries for all teams in the P/Os. KD returns this Saturday whoooop whoooop!! |

hensben: G football is not lawn tennis so there is no way he single-handedly defeated Spain. Brazil is Brazil forget all those yarn about them not parading stars like before. That is what you get when you have done much in the past. You only remembered Neymar's goal in that match what about Oscar assist to him, David Luis clearance in touch line and so on, so you see football is not lawn tennis. Meanwhile, when Hazard signed for Chelsea they were on a rebuilding process due to the declining state of the senior players which has affected Hazard output in European stage. For example, Bayern vs Chelsea In the super cup game were he delivered a master clas but his team defense failed him that night. Brazil is Brazil but they conceded 7 goals against Germany in 2014? Hazard has played in a UCL era in which his team got to the semifinals and lost to ATM. He barely had any contribution to that even when he was clearly the team's best player and they relied on him. The game you are referring to against Bayern, he scored a good goal and he deserves the praise for it. But even a faulty clock tells the right time 2 times in a day. So Hazard needs to do more before he can join the pantheon of football Gods. |

hensben: He is really good but not that good? What is that? The only disadvantage hazard has is that he is not playing for either Barca or Real Madrid. He is a quality player. I repeat Neymar is not better than him, Neymar is privileged to play for a better team and from a country with great football history. #Kapish. When Spain were the best team in the World, Neymar single-handedly destroyed them 3-0 enroute to winning the Confed cup. In that match, Iniesta went to shake Neymar's hand and told him he is a great player. Neymar's undermanned Brazil side recently outplayed Argentina in a manner that shows on his day he is almost as good as Messi. I have never seen a performance from Hazard that has drawn such a comparison from anybody bar CFC apologists. The fact remains, if Hazard is that good, he should have been doing a whole lot more on the bigger stages. He has a good platform in Belgium and next season he would have one in the UCL again. Until he replicates his EPL performances on such a stage, he will still be behind Neymar. For goodness sake Neymar has finished 3rd in the world and he is younger than Hazard who has never done it. |

What's my own with the goals being lucky goals, just stop the hatred already please. I don't hate Hazard. Read me well. He is the best player in CFC and he is capable of brilliant moments. All I know is, Kerr has a 204-38 record which is the best ever in NBA history. Too add to that, we just passed Jordan's 3-peat Bulls to the best 3 year record (they had 203 between 95-98) and we have 204 with 4 games to spare. All we need now is a ring to crown all our effort.
Klay has 262 3's and Curry has 305 at 40% shooting in the worst shooting year of his entire career. At this point I can rest most of the starters as there is nothing much to play for. I will be a Boston fan till season end hoping that they beat the Cavs and finish as first seeds.
