Honestly I am not trying to sound like a broken record though I'm hurting badly because I don't know how to feel, but this my babe that I've been dating for the past 2 years hardly calls me. Times without number we have talked about it and she promised to improve but that has not been the case.

We have discussed marriage plans and also introduced each other to our families hoping to give it a go ahead come 2022 by God's grace which I know she will be happy to settle with me but two days ago during my break time from work I checked my phone and as usual was about calling her then it occurred to me that this is what I do everyday from good morning to goodnight no calls from her except I call or chat first so I decided not to call or chat yet till now nothing from her.

She has been online on whatsapp, I am sure she calls other people. I have made up my mind not to call or write to her first and if she doesn't reach out to me then I will just bone and move on gently.

Exactly what I was going through in my relationship till I made up my mind to let her go for good. My case is that even though she doesn't call, she also deliberately ignores my calls which was the hardest part to take. I dumped her ass n now she's coming to me to tell me she miss us. Stories... hunty no miss us again, u don kill d vibe already. She can lie to her family about things I did and didn't do that made me step back from our plans to get married. But a broken relationship is always better than a broken marriage.

The problem here is just that not everyone can train up a child.

You got it, she's never comfortable whenever I tell the kid to stay put and she too can't stop complaining of how the little lad deprives her of her personal time or even hear her when she speaks to him.

You don't necessarily need to beat up a child to set him/her right. Like my nephew, about 2years old now. I don't beat him but when he's doing something wrong, and I scode him, he understands and adjusts immediately. While the mother out of love does the opposite. There are many ways to correct them. The problem is that, many parents thinks because they are too young, that they probably won't understand, which in my opinion is wrong. The truth is, kids a very intelligent and are capable enough to take advantage of the over pampering and most parents fall for it. As young as my nephew is, if I seat him down in a place as a punishment for doing wrong, he would never get up until I tell him to, but he never obeys his mother to that extent because of her approach. Your facial expressions matters a lot while correcting a kid. You can't say don't do this while smiling and expect them to refrain from it.

OP please follow this advice. I was caught up in time past but I overcame by not yielding to the urges and always keeping my mind occupied with positive thoughts. Stay around people, if being alone, results to it. Get busy with work or business and learn to talk to people whenever you feel down trodden. And most importantly, take the decision to quit and ask God for the unfailing Grace to stand by your decision.
