In the wake of the current economic situation and The inemptude of some Governors delaying Salaries n some others unable to pay. we are quite aware that some school pay their school fee in various structured way. Some structure theirs to End of semester or Session, while some others use a kind of vouchers, others still , permit your going to school till d day u write your final exam or decide to come get your result. So in the light of this conundrum and "delay or non payment of salaries" which already is a sour distaste ,should our school not look out implementing policies to benefit their students? Because without paying your fee your portal profile, clearance is as good as useless, not just useless u sure having an auto repeat. So as Senior student and my fellow able colleagues, I call u all and enjoin u to contribute until our voices is heard and whatever insistence on‪ late payment be cancelled. ‪#‎matured‬ comment Only pls. Good morning my fellow naira landers, I'm a batch B14 corp member,, i served in a federal parastatal, I'm supposed to collect my certificate today and luckily for me, i have been offered an appointment with the parastatal i served, with the condition that i will start immediately (on Monday). I'm such a lucky person even thou that I'm from a very poor background, my both parents died while I was 8 years old, i started moving from one uncle to another with different maltreatment, but thank God I'm a man of myself today, God i thank you. My take home is 98K and i promise to give 50% of my first salary to my cousin brothers who are now homeless due to boko haram insurgency. God pls bless others as you blessed me. I never thought a day like this will come to pass. Patience is a virtue

I always advice my friends, I always tell them dude/babe u re not dull...U wrote PUme? jamb YOU passed without anybody,s influence.U can make it in life..And If u check around schools like mine With A lot of 3rd class grades ,u will realize that even the HOD NA 3rd class n some very old lecturers wey no wan retire. So how u expect them to give u A or B for course wey dem be get E or C for them time..Its so pathetic...DElsu and Uniuyo especially

over yes u can, nigeria of today is not about ur degree or class but your input to their coy. what if u grad 1st class with a dull performance what did u want them to say about it.. sorry am working with mine, and am doing great with my coy and i have done my wedding and am living well with my own built house. i also graduated from a good uni with 3rd class in 2011. but today am happy cos i thought i was a disapointment to my parents for my poor grade. but however mine was caused by school politics it was a delebrate act from my dept in school. thankz and best of luck u can make it bro

Rivers State Governor, NyesomEzenwo Wike has formally restored all the entitlements and benefits of Sir Celestine Omehia as a former Governor of the state.

Governor Wike on Thursday also formally reinstated the official portrait of Sir Celestine Omehia amongst the line-up offormer governors of Rivers State at the Government House, Port Harcourt Executive Council Chamber.

Performing the exercise, Governor Wike said that the decision to restore the entitlements and privileges of Omehia as former governor stemmed from the fact that he worked as governor of the state between May 29, 2007 and October 25, 2007, wherein he took decisions on behalf of the State and initiated projects.He said: “I hereby put back his official portrait among those of former governors. He is now entitled to the benefits of all former governors. ”

The governor said that the era of politics of bitterness in Rivers State was effectively over, noting that it was not rightto personalise governance as was done by the immediate past administration.Responding, former Governor of Rivers State, Sir Celestine Omehia described Thursday as the most historic day of his political career.

He said that the restoration of his rights as a former governor indicates that his dark political days are over.The event was witnessed by the Secretary to Rivers State Government, Kenneth Kobani, Rivers State Housing Commissioner, Barrister Emma Okah and the State Attorney-General, Chinwe Aguma.

lrguru: Pals, gettin job in Delta State CSC, is not by ur application o! Its by who u know and by GOD'S grace. I never had a job after graduating from uni for 6-yrs and i started my first job in delta CSC. It really is a nice place to work, but u will really need to be patient and never give up. By GOD'S grace, come next year january, my Grade will increase and thats gettin me close to becomin a Director. And as for those askin if non-indigenes can apply, just try ur luck, we deltans do not discriminate, cos one of my directors is from the west. But i think u cant go beyond that position as a non-indigene, so dont even eye the position of a Permanant Secretary (PS), and like i said u need GOD and connection to get the job, cos in DELTA state CSC, people get recruited everyday. Bless u all and happy new year in advance.
