I use Vegas cream for my son. It's a small container sold for N200 with vaseline and he has no rash.
You can still leave the place to diaper free when the baby's home for now.

Hello mamas, pls what can I use for diaper rash?
I have changed diapers from huggies to soft care to molfix.
I have even stopped using blue seal vaseline as they said it may be fake, and currently using original coconut oil.
It appeared to be clearing off initially, but the place is now reddish with new rashes again.
Pls what else can I use/do?
I didn't experience this for my other kids as i change diapers very regularly.

Hello everyone please is it possible to get a positive home based urine test and negative blood test ?

I decide to take a test because my period is 3days late but blood test says negative. I explained to them at the lab and I was told to go for scan which I did and this is the result below.

I think you need to find a way to make him drink more water, cos infrequent urination is a sign of dehydration

It was really hard like rock ooo but it started subsiding after 7days and it's much better now.

I am glad you don’t have fevers as i was initially suspecting mastitis.

A warm bath would help as well mum.

Another option is to take medications which stop your milk.I took Cabergoline but that was because my first set of babies died.

Old wives tale says put cold cabbage leaves in your bra and since you not ingesting something it sounds like a good idea to try too.

Fingers crossed it should be gone within a week and the paracetamol should help you feel some comfort else step up to Ibruprofen.

Pls what can I do to reduce breast engorgement, as I have just weaned my toddler off the breast.
I have taken paracetamol and used ice packs but it's been 3 days and still engorged. No fever, just pain and swelling of the breast.

Pap, baby cereals (cerelac, frisogold, nutribom, nutriben, Gerber, Jaden foods)........the list is endless. Just ensure you introduce one type at a time and watch for how he tolerates it.
You can also give finely pureed fruits, food (check youtube for different recipes).
Dont forget to give him water as well.

Pls what can one give a 15 month old toddler with cough that is worse at night. The cattarrh has stopped but cough is still there.

There is nothing wrong with breastfeeding while pregnant. The only thing you need to do is feed well because you will need alot of nutrients to sustain the baby growing in you and your LO you are still breast feeding. Also try to introduce your home made meals to your LO cos time will come when the pregnancy begins to have its toll on you, you might not be able to feed your LO as much as you want to. Then gradually try to Wean your LO also. Don't do this abruptly. So that he/ she doesn't feel pushed away.
Forget all those superstitious beliefs. They are all lies.

I got the nutty cereal, date syrub and crayfish powder.
So far so good, its nice. I add the nutty cereal to my baby's pap(I make the pap myself).
I don't really like the taste of the date syrub so I didn't use it.
I use the crayfish powder for his pap sometimes.
She gave me free sample of the protein mix as well, but I haven't really tried it cos it contains soyabeans.

Good morning mamas. Trust our LOs are doing great. Please who has an idea of what I can use on my 16month baby. He has impetigo (known as Alefo in Yoruba). At first I thought it was heat rashes, then I used medicated powder and all these tropical creams on him. But there was no changes, rather it became more. So I went to the pharmacy, the pharm was even saying it's like little boils, until I googled before I got the name. We were prescribed antibiotics and mupiderm (muciprocin ointment for bacteria infection). We're on the antibiotics and but C for 3 days now, but the ointment finished the second day (it's quite small in the tube and expensive). But the stuff is spreading. Please mothers, what else can I use? Kindly respond. Thanks

Sorry for the plenty questions but general hospital wahala can be too much and I don't want to waste the trip.

Its Monday to Friday. You will need to get a new card. Just go early on any weekday.

You can go anyday, as ANC (ayinke house) is everyday. Just ensure you go early, as the waka waka is plenty small.
You will be given a form to fill and forms for some tests to be done. It's with the test results that you can now officially register anyday of the week you like.

Baby tribotan should help with the rash. Also clean her face with a clean cloth and water when you see her drooling to minimise her getting a rash

What what can I use for drool rash? Baby is 3 months old and currently has drool rash on both sides of her face. I try to clean the drool/spit ups everytime I see it.
