lordZOUGA: you can run MAC OS on your windows machine if your PC supports hardware virtualization... That means like 4GB ram up to 2.8ghz core i3(or higher) processors and upto 512mb (or more) dedicated graphics memory...

My system is up to that requirement and i have tried and tried yet nothing seems to work. I wouldnt come in here if i wasnt fed up. I did all to my knowledge yet same issue continued. I'ma try getting a mac pro that the least option right now . well thanks all the same .

There are several reserved keywords in Windows. The restriction isn't a mistake/magic that, as you claim, even Microsoft cant explain. Ofcourse they put it there to avoid conflict. The CON is a DOS reserved keyword that was brought forward into Windows. CON is used to specify the device file used to capture whatever was printed onscreen.


And oh yes, you can create the folder. You have to specify the UNC (Universal Naming Convention) path though. Try it:
Open the Command prompt by clicking Start -> Run and typing cmd
Enter: C:\> md \\.\c:\con and press the ENTER key.
Now, Open My Computer and browse through the path where you created CON folder... Surprising.. ?? Yeah.. you have created it successfully

Now, try to delete the folder from My computer. OOPS!!! You cant delete it...

Now, try this in command prompt console

C:\> rd \\.\c:\con

Yeah!! You did it...

When i was younger in Benin City during my primary school days. Similar even occur, this time they got info that we had lots of tuber of yams. So they kidnapped my cousine & demanded that we settle with all the tubers of yam. It was 2 dozen tho n they collected alot of meat & fishes frm our stew n soup. They then release our cousine. The police came when my cousine was out of d kidnappers custody. That was my 1st time to see a police pistol silver type & i was happy they kidnapped my cousine. Its laughable now but back then our heart were on our lips.
