This is one of the issue with cracking your OS. but the first thing you should consider doing is to get a license to activate your windows properly after which you should download windows update.

well it depends on the requirement of the structural design app you looking at installing but on the average a core i3 with 4GB of RAM and above will be fine but since you intend getting core i5 go for it cos this will give you better performance.

Please do not forget to put into consideration your graphics card RAM for better performance at least 256MB or 1GB dedicated will be fine.

Hello everyone, Pls my laptop HP 620 which runs on win 10 pro reads activated but says licence will expire soon. infact says it will expire by 29th july 2019. Did some research and was told to go to service.msc - stop and disable Windows License Management Service which i have done. The second thing dat i was instructed to do is still under service.msc. I am to stop and disable windows update service. But lo and behold I couldnt find windows update service on the list.
Pls who can help sort out the issue of licence and also how do i get window update service back and running?

1. HDD ( you should perform disk defragmentation)
2. RAM (consider increasing RAM to aid performance)

for the CD ROM is it that it does not read disk anymore or select disk.

use ESET anti-virus to scan you might need to get a license for it tho.

So it happens that, I was in my school last week(@ night) to use the school Wi-Fi, immediately I was connected to the Wi-Fi a message pooped up telling me to update my windows, N.B. I use windows 10.
I clicked update and the windows started updating it was kinda slow but I was checking it at time interval cos I minimized it.
Along the line, I fell asleep. Waking up the next morning, the system had gone off. By the time I switched it on,,,, It started displaying image 1. After a while it'll displayed image 2.
I got a new Windows 10 CD rom and followed the whole repair process in image 2, still it's not working. It gave a reply that 'This windows does not support the operating system'.
People told me my windows 10 crashed due to incomplete windows installation. (I guess the windows did not finish the update before PC went off) Have tried the solutions proffered, but it's still not working. Please help me my brothers and sisters . I need this PC for my exams starting next week.
What else can I do. My whatsapp 08105070057. I don't mind a message in my Dm as I await reponses here too. God bless y'all.

Will suggest you visit HP service centre the price might be a bit high but you sure of getting original and even warranty.

One more thing please.. Do you know much about replacement batteries?? There are some that are good and last long while some are not good at all and doesn't last long.. How can I know a good replacement battery that will work fine and last long in Ikeja?? Anything to look out for in PC batteries??

Fine Kernel power 41 critical error.(unexpected shutdown)There are 2 issue to this the software and hardware.

Software issue.

1. The battery drivers should be updated you can scan for device changes from device driver.
2. check your power setting.
- from power settings
- click when the computer sleeps
- Then click on advance settings
- click on hard disk >turn off hard disk after, then set to never

Hardware

Your battery is most likely not getting the accurate charge your technician should check your charging port and pls let him change that battery.

But most of the error codes here are WLAN Error code 126

Your system already told you what the problem is just take it to a technician to check that fan they might just need to change it also the heatsink should be checked. core 0 and core 1 is high that is a red flag.

First check with another battery and see what happens.

please check there are more error codes in the event viewer relating to unexpected shut down.

3. click on event viewer
4. expand windows log then click on system

Double click on the error you will see the code.

Yes, it only happens when I'm using the system on battery.. When I plug the battery to light, or remove the battery and plug only system to light, it works fine and doesn't shut down.

Hmmm from what you have said this only happens when the battery is in use but when it's plugged to power with no battery it works fine right?

Did the technician check for any overheating issue?

you have also replaced the battery with a follow come right?

please do a quick check on the windows event viewer and see if there are error code paste code here please. This might be a power management issue

The thing is this..

My laptop was working very fine before it turned off one day due to power surge/current. At that point, the battery on my system began to read not detected and if I plug in to light without battery it works fine.

I taught it was only a battery error , so I tried getting a new battery.. But then I noticed the system couldn't charge up all the batteries I tried. The seller told me to see a technician to work on the board, probably a faulty charging IC.

I took it for repairs and the technician told me I'll get a new battery first so that he can use it to work on it. He charged me for an original battery and brought one which he used to work on the system.. After the job was done, I tested it, the system was charging up the battery and I felt okay..

But when I got back home, i charged the battery to full capacity. I tried the system without plugging to light, just using the battery, only for it to suddenly shut down after about 30mins.. I turned it on again only for it to shut down suddenly again within 20mins without any warning..

I talked to the technician about it and he told me to bring it back for him to check.. I went back to him, he observed it, applied thermal paste turned it back on but noticed the system still shuts down abruptly after some minutes. He took out the battery and went ahead to change it.. The first one he brought also shut down after some minutes. The second one he brought didn't work on the system.

So he brought a third one. I tried using it there and it worked for about 45 minutes before turning off (while i still had about 50℅ battery life left). Tried turning it on at his office but it wouldn't come up, so we plugged it into light to charge (he said it was a new battery and needed to charge to full before usage). Since time was far spent and Lagos traffic is unbearable, I decided to take it home to complete the charging.

I took it home, completed the charging, plugged it out of light and used it again only for it to still shut down after about 30mins.. I immediately turned it on again and it went off after 10 mins. I turned it on again and it shut down after 20-30 mins..

Please gurus in the house help me out, could it be from the system or the battery itself?? I have attached a picture of the battery (5200mAh) he sold to me at original price. Please help me check if its an original replacement battery because he charged me for an original battery price more than the regular market price.. Could the fault be from the system or the battery??

The scan shows you have issue with the windows-component based servicing logs (CBS) and the scan could not fix it you can do this manually.

1. To go services stop windows update service.
2. Make sure you login as administrator then go to location C:\windows\logs\CBS\CBS.logs
3. then delete the CBS logs you have there
4. start windows update service
5. restart your system

You did not run as an administrator, right click on CMD then run as administrator

There might be some windows System file that are corrupt run SFC to fix errors.

1. Open CMD as administrator
2. Type sfc /scannow and hit enter allow the process to finish.

Quick one is your battery icon marked x if not try another Charger and see if that works.

Your charging port might be a suspect in this.

I hope its not AMD prcessor you have, well what you described here are strong symptoms of over heating.

Your system should have been alerting you about this tho first discontinue the use so as not to damage your mother baord.

Get a technician to check your system please.

Please check for OS update. that is another possible cause since you have tried the re-login to app store.

Go to seetings, click on iTunes and app store a menu will pop up showing your apple ID kindly sign out and sign again.

Then try to see if your app store works for the WhatsApp once your app store works you can simple uninstall and install your whatsapp .

Hmmm somehow your RAM is restricted well do the following.

1.Run CMD as an administrator
2.execute the command msconfig. This will open System Configuration.
3.Click on the Boot tab and then Advanced options. 4.The box Maximum memory should be unchecked to allow using the maximum installed memory

Restart your system and check.

64 bit. It was preinstall with window 10 but later put window 8 but the graphics memory was 4gb initially

Guys help me my total amd r7 graphics memory initially was 4gb with 1 gig vram but I notice a reduction to 2gb total graphics memory and vram reduce from 1gig to 512mb. Please help out and my system total ram is 8gb with 6gig usable initially but now is now 8gb with 3.2gig usable
