True, thats how kidnapping all started in Nigeria. I remember that many people supported them, even some of those complaining now. Now every criminally minded person sees kidnapping as the easiest crime with higher returns than armed robbery.

Do a little research and I am sure you will see it. You can even look for monthly federation accounts allocation publications and from the breakdown you can see things like VAT allocation, stamp duties, 13% derivation (for oil producing states) etc. You may want to be pessimistic but it doesn't change the facts.

The money generated by Customs, FIRS, NNPC etc are shared by RMAFC to the FG, States and LGAs monthly as allocation.

All of you are just empty ..when the tolls were removed was Road tax of 1.50k not added to every litre of petrol to replace revenues from the toll gates ? Are we still not still paying the road tax ? What is is it being used for ?

The government probably plans to concession the roads and in such a situation, the companies will have to collect tolls directly.

If this idea will help to fix all the federal roads, then I welcome it. After all plying very bad roads is ultimately more expensive considering the damage to vehicles, loss of lives and property resulting from accidents and loss of man hours on these roads.

Abi has many border communities (share boundaries) with Igbo communities in Ebonyi State. That some of them may intermarry or even settle doesn't mean there are indigenous Igbo's from Abi.

I served in cross river obubra to be precised. I saw indigenous igbos in cross river and indigenous efik in ebonyi. Search for oforekpe in ebonyi state. Those are the little ones I know. And I was told they are many villages like that even across the river. Interior areas.

There are no indigenous Igbo's in Obubra or Cross River as a whole. The people you saw may have settled there cos we share boundaries with Abia and Ebonyi States.
