Yes it is. The local ones will be more expensive at first because the supply chain is not yet fully developed. But soon based on the demand, new supply sources will be established to ever increasing numbers of local producers that were hitherto left without much patronage and then prices will begin to drop.

Rivers State government and other SS governments have met with and granted amnesty to militants before. They do these gestures as an olive branch to persuade criminals to change. If the criminals continue carrying out attacks however, these governments do still go after them. I did not see you cry blue murder then. This man has said nothing. Who told him that 90% of the money in the budget is to be used to pay salaries of 2 million workers or that only FG determines where roads and water projects can be built? The 36 states have their own respective budgets and can decide to build water projects and roads without any hindrance from FG. Everyone now wants to talk.

Think about it.

Don't forget that it is not FG alone that receives and uses oil revenue. Oil revenue along with VAT and other revenue like custom duties etc are shared monthly between the FG, States and LGAs based on the established revenue sharing formula.
