The Teacher was right |
shankara7:Being a First Class does not really mean she has all the skill required for employment, but rather, it means she has the capacity to comprehend easily and also acquire the required skills if not more within a short period which will add value to the organization. Have you ever worked with a First-Class colleague before? If No, then don't jump to conclusions. |
But she said she has done so, for your information, I can tell you categorically that, many academic institutions don't employ their best graduating students anymore, and it is pathetic. |
Please start with anything you can find for now. Apply in those little Primary and Secondary school around you. As for most of our academic institutions, the Principals (V.Cs) are not ready to help the young and brilliant ones so long you are not connected to them nor any of their allies, but I know one thing, God will always make a way where there seems to be no way. Remain blessed. |
Nice story my brother, but believe in this "Not all who got jobs immediately after graduation will still be in doing well at old age" when they will be in dare needs of almost every help, may be soon you will get a job that will keep you going throughout your life time and your wealth may even be transferred to your next generation, keep praying and believing. It is well. |
A man stood as a surety for another one to get him bailed, then a known person went to the man's home, shoot sporadically at everything on site, and the man on bail declared missing, please who should be questioned for the whereabout of the man? Sometimes, I wonder if we the youths always reason before commenting on an issue. We seems to be playing politics with everything and accept every nonsense dished out to us by anybody. I think Shehu Garuba is totally wrong in that his theory. My own opinion shaaa. |
guys in noun could you be kind enough to help with this query: Is it possible to register for course in Noun while taking studying and taking the exams entirely from another country? No, you can only take the Exam in a NOUN study center in Nigeria |
I have read and heard about many ridicules about NOUN and her graduates, but I keep asking myself, with all their good spoken English and great looking school structures and fantastic lecturers in their own universities, what have they been able to invent? Instead of we Nigerians supporting what is good until it becomes perfect, we are everywhere throwing unnecessary stones that will not do us any good. All universities in Nigeria are great institutions but situations won't allow them function well. So, please lets stop criticizing schools as if we have built one ourselves. Over 99% of the Professors working in NOUN are from other universities, so do we also say they are incompetent? Whether anyone likes it or not, NOUN is a Federal University, accredited by NUC. I am proud to have gone through their system and finished well by the grace of God. |
When I hear Massive employment on the thread and I open to see Professor, Senior lecturer, Which one is Reader again .... A reader is an Associate Professor, lower in rank to a professor. |
There is one thing I know for sure, coming out with a First-Class is not Beans nor Moi-Moi, needless of saying being the Best Graduating Student of an Institution of higher learning. May God bless your hustle, wish you good in all ramifications. Remain blessed. |
...he was not arrested because of corruption. He was actually arrested for exposing the cabal behind the fall of naira. Please always try to find out fact. Most of us Nigerian youth don't do personal research about things. We just believe whatever the government tells us without finding out the truth ourselves. People close to Buhari where making huge amount of money through forex and he exposed them. Sanusi said same thing, why didn't they arrest him too? they didn't even tell us what his offence was |
Nigeria seems to be in a high level joke, how can someone be arrested for about a week and was released without telling us his offence? And was only let off the hook when the wife went to the media and their lawyer filed a suit against them. God will help us all. |
My worry is that, there is no place the DSS official will go without them seeing millions of dollars, but if the masses demand for the said money, they will tell us it was just a little sum. I remember when they told us how they saw and recovered cartons of raw dollars in the Akwa Ibom State government house, but history is the rest of the story today. May God help us o. |
Good job, welldone |
Thank God for her. |
They School Management gave them as much as 150k and Laptop for the winners, they try o, is it not on this platform we read of the best graduating student of a school being given a mug? Abeg Unilag try jare, if you know what First-class students are passing through now in all this universities eh, u go fear fear, we all go clap for unilag. |
Please can someone help me to tell this people that I am tired of hearing about this corruption news. I want to hear things like, Rice is now sold for 8k, kerosene is now available at the nearest pump station at affordable price, Garri is cheap for the masses, IDPs camp has gotten good food to eat. Thanks all. |
So, when the past immediate past govt was being flogged times without number by bloggers, we all were enjoying it and were very happy. But today, bloggers are being arrested for writing lies, hmmmmmm, it is well with our dear country o |
There is one rule I love so much, it says "If You Can't Make It Better, Then Leave It The Way You Met It" |
Sad end to a Clueless President. After getting kicked out of Power in Nigeria,by a landslide margin. The Clueless one,now goes about visiting different dignitaries in the world uninvited. In Yoruba,it is called "Mogboor Moyaa" Truth is,Jonathan is not relevant in Nigeria, and can never be relevant anywhere in the World. The Western Intelligence still has him tagged,as the most corrupt President Ever in Nigeria. Only Mediocres celebrate mediocrity, like some of his supporters on Nairaland. Great Minds go with Buhari. Your comment shows you are not current, please better find out why GEJ went there before you embarrass yourself. Thanks. |

The answer is 40. QED |
Bishop Mobolanle Margaret Odeleke of Christ Message Ministry/Power Pentecostal Church a.k.a Agbara Olorun Kibati, was the First Female Bishop in Africa. |
Don't worry my friend, one day you'll surely get a First-class job, it's just a pity that Nigerian leaders seems to recognise comedians than academic brains which is behind long term growth and development. God will help us. |
okuneddie:Oga, na umbrella na |
Wonderful, God bless those parents. I will not forget how my wife fell and rolled on the ground when I received a call from my university informing me for being "THE BEST GRADUATING STUDENT" she gave me a hug and her eyes were filled with tears of joy, I really appreciate her gift of love. |
Honestly, I don't know why majority of people have the believe that First-class is always bought, some says they were not given even when they deserved it, please is First-class given or achieved? We need to stop somethings, being brilliant doesn't really mean one will come out with a First-class but hitting the expected CGPA is what gives it, so when anyone calculates his/her CGPA and has 4.49, it's still a second class upper as it is not calculated to the nearest whole number. God bless all graduates whether with First-class or not. |
Congratulations to them, it's a great honour passing out with a First-class, God will bless them all for their efforts. |
Both of them were wrong, the police were suppose to wait for checks and the soldier was supposed to target the tyres, it would have saved a live. Meanwhile, please it's not only driving on speed that attracts punishment o, if you answer call in a military checkpoint, sorry will be your next name, let's be careful. May God protect us. |
It's God, He alone did it, I didn't do anything extraordinary, just the normal reading and a very little extra sacrifice. Thanks, God bless you. |
