etette:Thanks a million @etete, I'll Google it now, God bless you. I'm honoured and proud to be an Akwa Ibomite. |
Suigeneris93:It helped Ayodele Dada of UNILAG, because you didn't have it doesn't mean it doesn't help. |
bettercreature:You called another person "a half baked student" but lack the capacity to critically evaluate things, why didn't government increase the minimum wage first before removing fuel subsidy? They said they will deliberate on minimum wage in 6 months time, the cost of everything has crossed the stratosphere and is heading towards the mesosphere. Why are they always giving us excuses for failures, how do they think a family man is surviving with N18000 per month? Please for your information, government will never tell you the truth so don't die for them. |
Rubbish talk, looking for cheap recognition from Buhari, who knows he might have been paid already. |
You are not a failure unless you conclude being so. Four things are involved in studying, Listening, Reading, Speaking and Writing, try to master all of them. When you listen and read, you are getting something from your studies, when you speak and write, you are giving out what you learn from your lectures, so when speaking or writing, please make sure you are showing you really learn while listening or reading. Make sure you comprehend while studying. Study for interpretation and critical evaluation, this type of studies will help you a lot, start teaching your coursemates what you studied, you'll be surprised how deep you'll like to study because you'll not want to make serial mistakes. Avoid distractions, I didn watch movie for four years because I had a target. Prepare a study time-table and follow it up, don't waste any of your time. Don't hate any course, no course is hard, non is simple too, so take all as equal. Remember, you are investing into your future. God will do it for you. |
[quote author=maupe post=44820022]Nigerians should disregard this hogwash. How does the said concerned Nigerian know that the Senator intends to vote for the grazing bill. The best thing she could and should have done is to ask for a Town hall meeting, where this issue could be discussed. She could have achieved this by reaching out to the various media houses inorder to put pressure on the Senators to organise one. The silly thing was to call the senator and then command him, on the basis of speaking on behalf of all peoples of Abia Central, and the SE and SS in general. Has she found out if every SS and SE individual is against the bill. This is to me, a brutish and uncivilized way to go about it. The said lady, is indeed, not serious. Imagine, she doesn't even know what constituency, the Senator represents. Portia sent the said message to many other southern senators to vote against the said grazing bill, some called her to assure they will vote against it, when has it became a crime to tell a representative of a particular region to represent well? |
I have known Portia since 2011, I know her as a well respective fellow who would hadly throw an insult to anybody, but will never allow anyone bully her because of anything. So Ochendu I heard is now threatening to sue her, we'll, it's so unfortunate that our Representatives are now bigger than God and can't be told of what to do, may be he Ochendu was expecting "sorry sir" but I know Portia will not never give it to him. Portia, according to her said, she sent the said message to many other southern senators who called and promised her they will never vote for the passing of the grazing bill, so why is Ochendu own different? He should not sue but call for a debate with her. |
My brother and friend, if I was able to graduate and graduate very well, then he will also make it, He seems to be better than me somehow, so press on you will get there. |
My brother, your father remains your father, nothing changes that fact. Pray God should give you a good job, take good care of your parents because they did everything for you especially when you were less than 5 years old. Those who don't have a father wished they still have one, if he was not there you will understand that you are far better than those whose theirs have gone beyond, so no matter the condition, be wise. God bless you. |
Do we still have something called NLC in Nigeria? Please they should spare me the crap about strike, they are just toothless bulldogs. They should not worry afterall the wailing wailers (in Adesina's voice) are doing it for them. Sometimes I wonder what those in authorities take the rest of us for, they sleep and wake up and feel they need to say something to make the masses start arguments, God. Pass all of you, so please, they should leave us alone, we have been surviving through our sweat and strenght without them. If the government think punishing it's citizens is the answer to change so be it. Must NLC always be threatening without actions, if they are alive, they wake up one morning and declare nationwide strike afterall that is what government do too, they implement policies without consultations, so you too do so without much talking. God bless Nigeria. |
One thing I have come to understand in life, if you send a past President to jail, immediately after your tenure, you'll also find yourself behind the bar. So if they have anything against GEJ, we'll, they should go ahead and do whatever they think is good, but as Gov. Fayose rightly said, everybody's tenure will come to an end, and anything can happen. So clap and dance, tomorrow might be your turn. |

[quote author=Quakertellicus1 post=43676398]Well....change is a gradual process. I am about to embark on some propaganda for the government....so I apologise to all the gods and deities.. ![]() 1.LIGHT: When PMB came on board...power supply was at 5000mw max. Meanwhile Nigeria'sdaily need is approx 13000mw. (IMO-it is 20000MW). Even if Buhari started building power stations on June 1 2015....it would take till June 2018 for them to come on stream. Then there is the fact that the transmission system is obsolete. Infact, many of the DISCOS were shocked that something that dilapidated was still working. It needs replacement. So..anyone expecting change in power supply is just being impatient. IMO---it is going to take ten to twenty years before we can get power fixed. And it needs money. And since GEJ got the whole thing privatized....except for generation....the money is going to come from your pockets. 2.FUEL. PMB has refused to remove fuel subsidy. As a result....it has become difficult for fuel marketers to import the stuff and still make a profit...which is why many of them were engaging in scams....it was the only way to make cash. Add the fact that we need at least 4 more refineries.....and you see why there will be queues. The queues can end if we remove subsidy completely. That would enable the marketers import fuel...and still have a profit...to import more fuel, pay salaries of staff, and build the house in the village.(Man and woman suppose chop fruit of labour) But if you want cheap fuel....you need refineries. And even if Buhari started building 4 refineries on the 1 ST june 2015....it would take 4 years to build them. 3.NAIRA. Yes....N1=$1. (Which PMB never promised). Even then.....oil prices have fallen. Now they are up to $40 per barrel....but Nigeria needs oil at $112 per barrel to get naira to N140=$1. Of course...we need to diversify. But that takes years...not ten months. Keep calm...change is a gradual process. Ta. I thought Fashola said sometimes ago that a serious government will fix light issues within six months. I think their eyes don clear now, white hair go soon grow for their head, they thought governance is easy. |
National Open University of Nigeria is one of the best Schools in Nigeria, the School is not for milk suckers but is meant for bone breakers. Some people abuses students of NOUN wrongly thinking they are of low standard, but that is far from the truth. The Professors, doctors and most other staffs of the institution are products of conventional schools, I believe all of them must have taught in conventional school before joining NOUN, meaning they cannot pass a student when he or she is not worth a pass coupled with the fact that they don't even know the students by face nor name. So if a student of NOUN bags a First Class honours, I believe he/she really worked for it as grades are not tampered in the institution, if a student is graded with an A, it means the Professor or Doctor is satisfied with the answers given by the student afterall he or she doesn't know any of the student. Please I want to use this medium to advice those still writing JAMB every year, please go and get a NOUN form and stop the wait, don't allow anybody downgrade NOUN and keep discouraging you, but make sure you are equal to the task before joining NOUN as you will be almost 100% independent learner, so you will read and read and read as the lectures are simplified and coded into a medium and you are expected to decode them. God bless you God bless NOUN, God bless the Federal Republic of Nigeria, Udo Ukeme Effiong Best Graduating Student |
Happy Birthday to Baba OBJ, you shall celebrate more years ahead. |
Honestly, there are no jobs, if anyone publishes that there are no employable graduates, the person is only saying nonsense. Sometimes when you listen to some questions people uses to qualify graduates you'll start laughing, they will ask, who is the local govt chairman of a particular place in Borno, and if a graduate don't know it, they will say, he is not employable. So please they should cut the crap and leave Nigerian guys alone. God bless Nigeria. |
I was charged N1050 for ATM card on Friday, the N50 was tagged VAT |
Terrybabanla:my name is Udo Ukeme Effiong, I am 36yrs too with 3 kids, my take home on a monthly base was nothing to write about, I just graduated from NOUN, just Google my name, you'll be shocked with the grade I came out with, so don't allow anything to stop you from going further in your studies, God will help you. |
That is my Minister, trying to let the little children understand what it takes to keep the environment safe and friendly, and also understand the importance of combating climate change and global warming at a tender age. |
Liberace:Thanks, God bless you |
Gloryblossom:I'll add u broda, my whatsapp contact is 08175497944 |
