Thanks so much for your contribution. I am grateful
Bobomaigida:

Tuition = 21,000
PA Living Exp= 10,000
Other dependants = 19,000
Flight tickets = 7,000
Miscellaneous = 10,000
Total = 67,000 that will be about N23,225,000

However, it is always good to have buffer on the amounts, so your N35mm is okay. That being said, you will need to draft a very strong SOP that will be able to explain your circumstances.

- He needs to show documents that proves he inherited the properties and then docs to show the rental agreement that will further prove he earns the rents
- Get the documents that will show the payments, and since the documents will be much, you can use the old portal to apply.

All the best.

Hello beautiful people,
Thanks for all the good work.

My husband is into Christain ministry. He studied mechanical engineering as his undergraduate program but got called into ministry. He has however over the years worked in different capacities in Christain Ministry and done short term certificate courses in Nigeria, Ghana and Australia.
He has published two books in Christain Ministry.
He is self employed and also does many non profit projects in Christian Ministry.
He wants to go for Masters in Theology now.
We are a family of 7 and intend to travel together

He inherited many real real estates from his late father 7 years ago and some from his late brother 2 years ago.
His major source of income is RENTS from these real estate which runs into millions yearly
Asides deed of lease and conveyance, survey plan. What other documents can we use to prove that rents are paid? Pls note that the tenants are up to or more than 30 individual families, so I don't know wether it makes sense to upload all their invoices, receipts, agreement etc considering the file would be to large

Pls do advise on what document to upload for proof of financial means

Also is 35milliom sufficient for a family of 7 with school fees for 2 years being 21,000CAD?

Is there anyone willing to help us go through our 9 pages SOP?

I will appreciate responses.pls do not just scroll by 🙏🏽🙏🏽🙏🏽
Thanks in advance

You need IELTS.
abham:
Thank you for this. Though why I asked is because I came across a video on YT today and IELTS was not a needed at the time of application for New Brunswsick.

All the answers you seek are on the internet
Yes ,you will need IELTS and ECA.
Google Atlantic Immigration program
Go to the IRCC Website, every information you need is there.

For Wes, Google Wes evaluation for Canadian immigration, you will find all you seek there.
Everything I know, I got from the internet.
Wish you all the best
abham:
Happy new year.

I had to go over this again and I’ll need some clarification.

Did you write IELTS test and what was your score, how did you go about WES evaluation, biometric, medical and lastly for Proof of Funds, on an average how much can one present?

Employers will need to be redesignated by January 1st. It's not a difficult process I hear and they can apply for new endorsement Certificates from January but application for PR through the permanent AIP would commence from March 6, to allow for those have endorsement Certificates from this year 2021 apply.

Anyone currently with an endorsement certificate have till March 5 to apply for permanent residence. From March 6, application for the permanent AIP would commence

abham:
Hi, I do check this thread occasionally and I follow up on the Aipp immigration pathway on Twitter.
The program is now a permanent program from next year but I have no information about designated employers being redesignated and applications endorsements beginning by March.
What I know is that the Prime minister made some statements with regards to reduced time for processing visa for immigrants.

Thank you very much
GraciousWords:

What some people call step sibling is actually half sibling. Read here: https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Sibling and read below from IRCC Glossary (also on page one).

If you share the same biological father but have different mothers, then you are HALF siblings and all you need is in this link from Application Checklist on page one. Search for "relative in canada". Your parents do not have to be married to claim points for a half sibling, that only applies to step siblings. Even for step siblings, according to IRCC Glossary if they are not married, common law may work.

https://www.canada.ca/en/immigration-refugees-citizenship/corporate/publications-manuals/operational-bulletins-manuals/permanent-residence/express-entry/applications-received-on-after-january-1-2016-completeness-check.html

If you still decide not claim points (for whatever reason), I think you can indicate "no" to that question, meaning no 15 CRS points for sibling. When you are submitting your application you can add an LOE to explain why you answered "no". Note that under the family section of your application you will have to indicate your parents and siblings. I don't think this will be misrepresentation.

Hello everyone,

I have a step brother in Canada, I do not want be claim points from him... You know how polygamous family can be in Nigeria.
I am not certain he will want to provide documents.
How do I go about this?
If I don't include him in my application, would this not be misrepresentation?

I will appreciate your response.
Thanks
