From what exactly? Are you going to hold people at gunpoint to release the money?
From taxes.
Enforcement of TIN will ensure that huge tax revenues are accrued and necessary data is captured.

Another word for crude oil is simply petroleum and I stand to correct you.
hahahahaha..accept your mistake, stop shifting goal post!.

Hehehebenee… petroleum is a general term that denotes hydrocarbons including crude oil. My dear friend.
http://www.aapg.org/about/petroleum-geology/petroleum-through-time/what-is-petroleum
Anytime you come under fire for displaying ignorance, you immediately resort to using phrases like "my friend" or "my dear friend"; your half-baked attempts at psycological subterfuge will not work!.
Yes,petroleum is a general term use to collectively categorize crude oil,gas and their products. But when talking about petroleum profit,it refers to total tax revenue generated from the oil and gas sector, including the NNPC.

I wish you all the luck in your endeavours then in your game of playing catch up with SA. The question is SA has 50 million people while Nigeria has 180 million people. Have you also checked on that?
We will be generating almost twice your fiscal budget by 2018 due to new government policies.
I think that amount of money is quite sufficient to cater for our huge population and still have enough left to store.

Don't ever bring me a source and still argue with it because it is clearly stated that your revenues included your oil profit as well.
From the same source and I quote.
According to the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN), the revenue was derived from petroleum profit and non-oil taxes, including income tax, gas income, capital gain tax, stamp duty and Value Added Tax (VAT).
lol,Illiteracy is a terminal disease!.
so in your village, petroleum profit = crude oil revenue?!
I'm shocked at the level of ignorance you southies are always fond of displaying.
Petroleum profit simply means the tax collected from petrochemical companies, refineries, crude cargo cooperations, liquified gas plants and oil well installations.
This is quite very different from crude oil revenue which is primarily derived from gross export of crude oil and gas.

After you paid off all the stakeholders you are only left with a budget that does not go anywhere near $25 billion. We usually follow it every year.
Within the next few years, the FIRS alone is gonna be generating over $100 billion; once tax evasion is eradicated and all companies are audited and properly integrated into national database.
The current government has already ordered full audit and integration of all the LSMEs in the country.Every person and company is going to have a unique TIN{Tax Identification Number},it would be almost impossible to bank, conduct transactions and recieve/make payment without a TIN and tax reciept.
By 2018,Nigeria will generate the whole of SA national fiscal budget through our taxing system alone!!,add that to the money generated through customs, royalties, international trade, and crude export{which is set to increase by $50 billion by 2017},and we will literarily be swimming in cash!!.

Multichoice remains a leader satellite TV in Nigeria. The truth is in the events and entertainment awards that they sponsor in Nigeria.
That is far from the reality on ground; Startimes is a very fierce rival to Multichoice, and they are gaining ground everyday due to their cheaper service; they even offer a N20 per day bouquet{thats 1.3 Rands per day} and more stimulating tv channels. Also,ACTV even offers decoders for free.

We have Startimes,ACTV and DaarSat.
Only a minute percentage of people use Multi tv,most people use Startimes.
Try to conduct research before engaging people in debates.

Nigeria is reportedly number one in HIV epidemic in the whole world. The one reason for that was the fact that over 80% of Nigerians don't know their status.

You quote a blog as your source?,I thought you understood that it is an unwritten rule not to quote blogs as sources in this thread.
Anyway,into the thrashbag it goes.
As for your second point,Nigeria has a huge population, those that engage in illegal affairs are merely a minute percentage of our total population in diaspora.China and India has almost twice that amount of fugitives in prisons abroad, does that make them less developed?
SA is the crime capital of the universe, fact!.

hahahahaha..I laugh in swahili.
Fake pastors and doctors wouldnt be so rampant if your troubled people werent seeking for quick crude miracles. How many Nigerians are drug dealers compared to the huge number of south african murderers and petty burglers?
Nigerians run your economy, especially your informal economy.

Captainswag225:
hahahaha donkey evulture.. Do u think only nigerians speak pidgin?
Last time i checked shoprite was an s.a company that employed jobless smelly skunk like ur type. Have u sent ur application already?
Nigeria is the owner of pidgin english, though we have colonized countries like Cameroon,Ghana,Benin and Sierra Leone with pidgin english.
Let me enlighten you: 10% of Brazilians speak yoruba, while Igbo language is a major lingua franca in Gabon, hausa language is spoken in Cameroon,Chad,Niger, and Ghana. So you see?,we make the languages, others learn it.
Shoprite does not even employ up to 5000 Nigerians,on the other hand,Nigerian SMEs in SA employ tens of thousand of south africans.Unemployment in SA is quite alarming, which leads to crime and xenophobia.

Only two in Africa sound so misleading indeed.
You can't protect your coastline and your naval chief confessed it by blaming it on his over 50% useless fleets.
What is misleading about my statement?,there are only 2 ATR-42 ISTAR/AWACS/MPA/SIGINT{COMINT+ELINT} aircrafts in the whole of Africa, and guess who owns them?,you got it!.
As for the rest of your post; its a heap of cudswallop!.
50% of our fleet is enough to secure the whole gulf of guinea + south africa's coastline. For God's sake!,we are at peacetime, why do we need to operate 100% of our impressive naval armada?.There is no professional navy that operates that recklessly.
Anyway,70% of our navy is confirmed active.
