Msauza:
How sure are you about that? They deployed equipments which will help them in their search for chibok girls and that will undoubtedly has to be a drone.

http://newtelegraphonline.com/france-china-uk-join-us-search-chibok-girls/
Why would China use armed drone to locate missing girls in a dense forest?,its like using a wood-axe to slice bread!.
That drone obviously belong to Nigeria, why would China use armed drones for surveillance?.
Please tell me the brand of weed you are smoking,I promise to tell no one.

Msauza:
Not even agaugist can stoop to that level of ignorance.
Bwahahahaha…
Dodo,ATR-72 can carry out armed reconnaissance,if you dont know, then go do some research.
Our F7s despite being flanker aircrafts, have been reprogrammed by NAEME and AFIT engineers to enable them carry air-to-surface munitions.

Msauza:
Chief I am not at your messy not at all. I asked you to provide a source but you failed.
Nigeria's allegations about a purported armed drone was raised after the drone was seen crashed in the NE. Many drones were seen in NE including those from the US and France but it never raised speculation that they belonged to Nigeria. Remember ever since chibok girls saga many countries secretly deployed all sort of drones to NE Nigeria trying to spy on BH including China.
China did not deploy any drone in the NE,get your facts right!.
A drone needs to be managed from a command and control facility and China currently has no C&C or military base anywhere near Nigeria. So where did you get your "chinese drone" magical permutations from?,why would China fly armed drones into Nigeria's aerospace as if they were actively engaged?
China employed the use of surveillance aircrafts, not armed drones.Dodo.

THE OGA ON TOP SAYS AND I QUOTE:
The F-7s are unable to carry precision guided air to surface weapons while the country’s ATR 72 surveillance aircraft are able to detect insurgent activity but not deploy
weapons.

Lies!!,lies everywhere!!!
ATR-72 can be fitted with PGMs,unguided bombs and anti-submarine torpedoes!!
The F7s have been reconfigured to discharge precision munitions.

WE ARE NOW DISSECTING NIGERIAN AIRFORCE.

1. NOT EVEN A SINGLE NIGERIAN PLATFORM CAN FIRE MISSILES. THAT'S FACT NO:1.
citation needed.
Even our alpha jets can discharge PGMs,our CH-3s are capable of firing AR-1 air-to-ground missiles.
Msauza is a fraud!

Apology accepted
I didnt apologize.
Anyway, you are yet to provide proof to support your claim that Nigeria does not operate armed drones: I gave you a source from ndtv, where is yours?

Is SANDF going shopping or what?
http://www.timeslive.co.za/thetimes/2015/09/15/SANDF-goes-shopping
Shopping with what money?.
My advice to you is:
(1) Build your economy;as it is,your economy is undergoing regression at -0.8% growth output. With US rate hike coming up later this year, your economy is even more vulnerable due to SA's high market liquidity, unlike Nigeria's order-based two-way FX system that allows reasonable dollar restrictions
(2) Curb corruption{graft and mismanagement} from your government organizations, including your Ministry of Defence and Interior ministry; SA is now the most corrupt country in Africa
(3)Ramp up revenue generation.Ease market restrictions, terms and conditions placed on foreign investors; currently,SA's investment climate is highly oppressive
(4)Address your rising crime and unemployment statistics; empower your youths and diversify your economy with renewed vigour
(5)Stop chasing dreams
If not, then we've got another project biro.

Bwahahahaha… not a chance. Egypt bought rafale not out of pressure. Your air force chief clearly admitted your Air force is suffering from a LOW AVAILABILITY disease. Egypt bought expensive twin engined Rafales which takes long time to produce, your frail air force asked for a cheap low cost scopion fighters ASAP out of pressure. Meaning they did not have options.
Egypt bought rafales out of pressure?..hehehehehe....you are getting more ridiculous everyday.

@Msauza,

Oops is what we get. I hope you don't bring me one of parkistan sources which as well recently photoshopped and produced computer generated images of armed drone.
Did you even bother to read the source?,obviously not.
You cannot even provide evidence to support your spurious claims. Why the heck would Nigeria or Pakistan photoshop images of armed drones?,how much is a chinese armed drone?,even the wing loong cost barely over $1 million,we can afford to buy or manufacture hundreds of them.Common sense, you do not have.Well, like nairalanders would say:"may God grant you sense in jesus name".

Simple, because you know your military will not match South African National Defence Force firepower.

Nigerian military equally does not have armed drone.

Give us a source that will state the name of the drone and the weapon it carries.
Give us source that prove otherwise, also give us citation supporting your compatriot's claim of planning to acquire 100km BVR missile soon.

One thing is that you have nothing in your stock to defeat that paparazzi military.
Why would we ever want to compile albums of useless pictures?.
We already have the weapons,we dont need to snap photos to make it real.Does SA have armed drones?,what about an MPA/AEWACS?....
The best strategy to defeat the SANDF is to give them a dozen i-phones and watch them snap themselves to death.
Foreign Affairs › Re: Who Has The Strongest Military In Africa? by EVarn(m): 9:33pm On Sep 15, 2015
iblawi:
I told them before that we don't snap pics here in Nigeria we only do what we have to do when is time to do it. The day valour attempt to get close to our territory is the day it will sink.
What did you expect when SA operates a paparazzi military force?,they expect all other military forces to be photo obssessed like them!.No wonder seleka rebels were looting SANDF armoury in broad daylight while they were busy snapping selfies behind gecko trucks!.
valour will be used to re-enact 'pharaoh's chariot and the red sea' if it ever dares venture into our territory.
Foreign Affairs › Re: Who Has The Strongest Military In Africa? by EVarn(m): 9:09pm On Sep 15, 2015
Msauza:
False, Nigeria has unarmed drones only used for a purpose of spying. Give us the name of your armed drone as well as the type of its guided missiles that failed to even bomb one unit of Boko Haram insurgents.

Your NAF only used propaganda.
We operate CH-3 multirole UAVs with AR-1 laser-guided Air to Ground Missiles and guided bombs. There have been numerous video recordings of drone strikes on BH enclaves since last year: I even remember uploading a such video here on this thread.
stop feigning ignorance.

Exactly with what weapons are you going to use to sink our ships? You have no navy nor Air force.
hehehehehe....see JAMB question, why dont you just take a leisure cruise into our waters and see the wonders of God,your case would be that of:"the south african ships you see today, you shall see them no more!"..the ocean will swallow up your fleet like the chariots of pharaoh!.
Our F7 pilots are going to demolish your vessels and aircrafts from a 22km standoff range and fly back home to watch the damage done on CNN.

I believe Buhari is wise enough to understand the politics. Nigerians are wiser than what they think.
Do you remember this story https://www.naij.com/388982-army-captures-french-boko-haram-fighters-france-demands-them-back.html
Yes,I remember the story,of course,Cameroon eventually repartraited those terrorists back to France and the case died down just like that.No AU and UN investigation!,No Nigerian diplomatic intervention!.
PMB should demand a public apology from France for sponsoring Biafra and stoking civil war in the 1960's.Tough diplomatic decisions have to be made, everybody cannot be our friend.
I believe that Nigeria and France can cooperate in mutual bilateral trade and investment without necessarily keeping up a mirage of warmth.Just like Germany and Russia.

I read the news and I laughed grin cheesy grin grin
I too was quite amused by the news,i'm sure that PMB understands the fickle relationship between Nigeria and France; afterall,we expelled their embassy in 1961 for detonating three nuclear explosives in the sahara{our backyard},you can never expect any proud western country to ever forget such a humiliating gesture.
The french economist was quite correct in his assertions,France is an imperialist power in Africa and its interests does not bode well for development in Nigeria and Africa. This is the same country that was a chief financer of the defunct Republic of Biafra,in the end, they failed and it further stoked their silent resentment toward us.did they ever apologise to us?,no!.
Nigeria should fight its war alone; we shouldnt expect support from the UN,AU or world powers, that is how the world works, abeg.
If we choose to dust the bench and sit waiting for help that will not come, then we are on our own.

Good news.
I heard of another operation In South South, something about pirates but it seems things are going well for the Nigerian armed forces there too.
Now that the anti-terrorism war is finally winding to a halt{though the military will have to undergo complete transformation and always be on alert from now on},it is time for the military to tackle the dissenting miscreants down south: all these radio biafra,IPOB and pirate/MEND ruffians should be completely neutralized before they cause any major disturbance.
Amnesty is only a temporal money-draining measure, the only language that violence understands is force; a country like Nigeria shouldnt allow fragments of radical movements to sprawl dormant all over the nation,we have too many international rivals, overzealous "friends" and enemies who would use them as tools for destabilization to great effect.

Okay I know a lot of mopping up has been going on in the affected states But can you tell me the 'friendly' nations that agreed to sell us weapons I only know of Russia..
Russia,China,Pakistan,Poland,Ukraine,Czech,Israel and Turkey(?): they all provided us with lethal hardwares ranging from armed drones and attack helicopters to assault rifles.
The US,UK and Canada provided us with intel through constant surveillance and satellite roaming, while South Africa sold us logistics.
Modest hardwares such as alpha jets,mini-drones,and some infantry gears{including communication gadgets} were procured from the US/Europe/Israel,while the rest were sourced from indigenous arm manufacturers.

Russian MiG-35 for Nigeria?
.
http://www.airforce-technology/projects/mig35/

Though the MiG-35 is new and inexperienced,I think it offers more suitable and advanced features for the NAF rather than the SU27/30.
What do you think?

Me I am not there ooo grin grin I just peep in once in a while to do some defence.
Did our military eventually buy or take delivery of the weapons America was ready to sell to us? I just want to know if our recent defeat against Boko Haram can be attributed to it.
America has been providing intel, training and offering non-lethal military equipments to us since last year.No 'weapon' has been offered to us so far.
However,I would say that our victory over BH was a result of determined military leadership coupled with external help from "friendly" nations who agreed to sell us lethal hardware.
