You are saying it cos this one got posted online.
My brother, a lot happens behind the scenes in war.I only used the American example to prove my point that no military, no matter how professional is innocent of acts like this in warfare (behind the scenes)
There's nothing extra-judicial about killing a terrorist. It's the best punishment that suits them. Those animals don't deserve a trial that will cost taxpayers money.
True.
I am only concerned that soldiers who engage in such killings may become jaded and addicted to the perverse pleasure of serial-murder.
It is understandable that atrocities are always committed during warfare, even by the most professional world militaries: US and UK troops were accused of war-crimes in Afghanistan and Iraq,French troops in DRC are accused of rape and debauchery(as always) etc..But these western countries ensure that their soldiers returning from the war-front go through routine rehab and therapy before re-joining the society.

Abeg Evarns save all this face saving comments just to please some ignorant and hypocritical south Africans.
These same dunderheads supported their police after the summary execution of 30 protesting miners.
They'll support US troops beheading terrorists and pissing on their corpses. And the rant at any slight blunder of Nigerian security forces.
Those guys are Nigerian army and the head they are holding was a BH strongman that has killed, raped and abducted children.
Looking at the pic makes me proud of our boys and I hope they serve us more boko haram heads. Fvck what these fools think. Although I blame the person that posted the pic, but the act is a welcome development and I hope they continue tills those dogs are no more
Na we dey wear the shoe and we know where it hurts.
True talk my brother.
However,we should be cautious in condoning these extra-judicial misbehaviours, because it can be very addictive.
Our troops can do better than their American counter-parts.

We simply do not have solid evidence to back these pictures, and therefore we cannot jump into any educated conclusion.

Some people know nothing about international politics, yet they shout the loudest; many Nigerians think that playing politics at the international level is like the "cocoyam and palmoil" comic theatrics that pervades our local political landscape.
Why should Nigeria kneel down and beg for rotten peanuts from the UN,all in the name of humanitarian aid?,if they want to give us humanitarian aid,why dont they send it to us directly instead of asking everybody to appear before a panel and waste time talking about nothing?,we have attended many such "meetings" in the past{New York,London,Paris etc..},what has being the outcome?
I think that our NEMA is managing the situation very well enough.

I am not the one ranking one above the other, all I said is nobody has monopoly of ECM jamming over others.Russia will jam,America will jam.
Russian ECM have war records too, they saw live BRV combat action in Badme war Ethiopia Vs Eritrea,it was Su-27 Flanker and it shot down every MiG-29 that fought it to conclusion, that is a fair war where both jets were flown by mercenary
Ukrainian/Russian pilots, not like American pilots flying against 3rd world countries pilots and claiming champion.
Let Saudi Arabian pilot fly F-15 against Russian pilot having Su-30 Flanker plus Russian AWACS aircraft and ECM aircraft extra support, then we will know how western equipment perform against eastern stuff,so that people can draw conclusion like they did in Iraq Vs USA air war.
Bros,you get the jist?
.
I get your jist, but what I'm saying is that US ECMs are superior to any Russian ECM available.
Even if the F-15E meets SU-30 backed by AWACS,its likely to be a stalemate or outright victory.

Russian ECMs have no combat records.

.

.
Dirty tactics indeed, what is the rationale behind training 50-70 "moderate muslims" to fight Assad?.
If the US wants Assad gone, then it should back a Turkish invasion of Syria under the guise of smoking out PKK rebels, instead of playing games that cost lives everyday. There is nothing Russia will do other than make noise.
Betterstill, let the US declare Assad a war criminal, accuse him of stockpiling chemical weapons and invade the country themselves, like they did in Libya and Iraq.
The dynamics playing out now is costing too many lives, the US action in Syria is further arming violent groups like Al-Nusra and even ISIS.
Either they topple Assad or leave Assad alone.

DictatorZAR:
The Meteor has a 3x better NEZ rating then the 120D and is way faster.
Do you know the advantage a ramjet motor has over solid fuel motors like the AIM-120D. The very AIM-120D is almost useless in cold icy altitude conditions, this is the very conditions its likely to be deployed in.
Go read why Europe especially Germany, France, UK and Sweden is ditching AIM-120D in favour of the more capable Meteor.
FACT:
(1) Meteor has never been tested against any worthy opponent
(2) Meteor being a ramjet missile, makes use of external oxygen supply to obtain maximum cruise and speed, while AIM-120D utilizes solid fuel and therefore can perform excellently in high altitude where oxygen is scarce or devoid.
(3) The older variant AIM-120C has made 6 kills out of 13 engagements,Meteor has made none.
(4) Meteor enjoys high NEZ rating at sea level, the AIM-120D operates optimally at high atmospheric level.
I could go on....
Foreign Affairs › Re: Who Has The Strongest Military In Africa? by EVarn(m): 11:46am On Sep 24, 2015

The Meteor is a Ramjet missile and its faster and more manoeuvrable then the AIM-120D and less prone to ECM's like all BVR missiles in its class
https://defenseissues./2012/12/15/aim-120d-vs-mbda-meteor/
AIM-120D can fly at maximum speed and range in very high altitude where the capability of the Meteor will be significantly diminished.
All it would take is for the AIM-120D to lure the Meteor into higher altitude and kill it.

I guess we will have to wait until 2018 for the arrival of the PAC T-50.
Not much separate the SU-35 and F-22 also so I guess everything will boil down to systems, training and luck.
Anyway the F-22 is more over hyped like 90% of american hardware, it couldn't even outclass the Rafale at Red Flag.
Red Flag?,you see,we must be very careful when comparing mock battles with real life scenario.
In real battle, the F22 will utterly demolish the Rafale.
the F22 has a cruise altitude of 65,000ft max.,with a cruise speed of 1500knot,along with its thrust vectoring nozzles for added maneoverability, tell me how the rafale will survive such speed and agilitity coupled with superior BVR AMRAAMs.
Mock battles have standard ROE that restricts participating platforms from utilizing their full capabilities i.e radars and ECM.
Even the new T50 would find it hard to challenge both the F22 and F35.

The ALQ-99 has seen action in the second gulf war, vietnam war,Libya, first gulf war, balkans war etc....What are the operational credentials of the SAP-14?,where have they been used?.
@agaugust,dont get carried away by cheap russian propaganda,if the ALQ-99 boggs down the growler and prowler, imagine what the more cumbersome SAP-14 will do to the SU-30SM.
ALQ-99 can target and jam a wide multiple array of frequency bands simultaneously, how many simultaneous frequency bands can the SAP-14 jam?.Americans that spend billions on R & D ,dont do it because they enjoy parting with their dollars, they do it to achieve superior and durable outcomes.
Foreign Affairs › Re: Who Has The Strongest Military In Africa? by EVarn(m): 3:15am On Sep 24, 2015

The best American jammers have bad performance that people do not hear about.
"The poor reliability of the ALQ-99 jammer pod and frequent failures of the Built In Test (BIT) have caused crew to fly missions with undetected faults. The ALQ-99 has also interfered with the aircraft's AESA radar."
http://catch4all.com/positive/2014/Boeing/EA_18G/
Russian jammer on Su-30 is rated equal to the American jammer you just mentioned, and the Russian jammer is not reported to have faults like the Yankee jammer
The article said "similar to" not "equal to".
It is hasty to categorize the ALQ-99 as having bad performance, the fact that it "sometimes" interfere with the AESA probably stems from having a powerful frequency distorter that could sometimes target the collect bands of both its host and the enemy, this can be rectified by homing on selective targets.
The ALQ-99 still outclasses the SAP-14.

When America fears you, they report you to United Nations for economic sanctions and watch you continue misbehaving for 20 years grin grin grin
America's inaction in ukraine stems from the current passive decision-making by the democrats in the white house, not due to fear of Russia, what would Russia do?.
Technically,Ukraine isnt a NATO member,if the US acts in military aid of kiev,it would look as if the US is acknowledging Ukraine as a NATO ally, which would directly contravene the NATO-Russia post-cold war accord/treaty.

Wikipedia people over-rated Americas missile, the range is inferior to Russian rivals
http://www.deagel.com/Air-to-Air-Missiles/AIM-120D-AMRAAM_a001164006.aspx
American pilots already fear this missile inferiority weakening their stealth jets in combat, they have to fly into Russian missile and IRST range before the F-22 can fire any thing called missile, but Russia has a 100 km range no escape missile !
http://defensetech.org/2014/02/18/test-pilot-calls-for-longer-range-aim-120/
The battle of Syria will be hot for USA and Russia, who is the oga?
The second source you brought clearly states that the new AIM-120D version has a range of 180km,perhaps you should read it with opened eyes.
The pilots are requesting for more AIM-120 range to match chinese new BVR technology, not because they are afraid of the mysterious K-100 that could end up "breaking down" and careening into the crowd during a victory parade or airshow.
Why are you even comparing SU-30 with raptors?
Foreign Affairs › Re: Who Has The Strongest Military In Africa? by EVarn(m): 2:27am On Sep 24, 2015

If we even ignore K-100 which is the longest ranged at 200 km beating the American rival AIM-120D that has 72 km range,
1. America is afraid of even the older Russian K-77 and rate it as 100% no escape missile 100 km range.
http://thediplomat.com/2013/12/new-russian-air-to-air-missiles-will-field-almost-perfect-accuracy/
2. America is afraid of Russian jammers

.
AIM-120D is 72km?,I would like you to enlighten me on where you got your permutations from.
How is America "afraid" of BVRs and jammers it has never encountered?
The USAF has ALQ-99 ECM growlers, the most superior known jammers in the world.
Foreign Affairs › Re: Who Has The Strongest Military In Africa? by EVarn(m): 2:17am On Sep 24, 2015
@agaugust,The F15 still features superior EW system, how many simultaneous frequency bands can the SAP-14 jam?,moreover the SAP-14 has only been sold to one other country outside Russia, and its definitely not Syria.
Let me also remind you that the F-15 exihibits a powerful "home on jammer" that can counter-jam almost all known advanced jammers.
Foreign Affairs › Re: Who Has The Strongest Military In Africa? by EVarn(m): 1:55am On Sep 24, 2015
@agaugust,the AIM-54(retired) has a range of about 190-200km,the new variant AIM-120D also has a range of about 180-200km.So why would you call K-100{also with about 200km range, though it could be significantly lesser} superior to any rival on earth"?
Foreign Affairs › Re: Who Has The Strongest Military In Africa? by EVarn(m): 1:49am On Sep 24, 2015
agaugust:
Russia sent the best and newest Su-30 SM to Syria, they didn't send the older MK variant.
Su-30 has its own EW / ECM pod and IRST, even if it's 400 km range PESA radar is jammed the 90 km range IRST thermal vision and TV camera cannot be jammed. Russia has new Novator K 100 missile superior to any rival on earth.
Bros the fight go dey hot, both Su-30 and F-15 have 100% success rate in combat records. Na Dem show me I wan sidon dey look like say Rambo Vs Jackie Chan cheesycheesy
The F-15 will jam the SU-30 bar PESA radar and shoot it down with its advanced AIM-120 BVR missile, forget the IRST,what will a 90km thermal radar/tv camera do?,the SU-30SM's laser-guided missiles will become useless.
There is simply no evidence that Russia gave Syria its new K 100 missile, even if the SU-30SM are equipped with K-100s,testing of the new AIM-120D 180km variant can be accelerated and then integrated into the F-15E.
In real combat,the SU-30SM cannot match the F-15E,talkless of F-18 and F-22.

Israel is nothing without US; and the same almighty US( In the minds of the CNN brainwashed and gullible US citizens and US enthusiasts) had to result to Nuclear weapon to fight Japan in 2nd world war.
The same US was disgraced in Vietnam, Afghanistan, Common Somalia, Iraq.
US and UK were behind d Afghanistan militants who fought against Russia government
The US used nuclear weapons in Japan because of the high death toll that would have ensued on both sides if they allowed conventional warfare, millions would have died.
Using nuclear weapons ensured that thousands died instead of millions.
How was the US "disgraced" in Vietnam,Iraq and Afghanistan?,they eventually won the war in those countries.
Somalia is an AU/UN mission,it doesnt count.
Yes,the US sponsored the anti-russian militants in Afghanistan during the cold war,Russia did the same in Cuba{though it wasnt in violent form}.
How does any of these affect Israel's military capabilities?

It wont be a fair fight, the F-15E will jam the SU-30SM out of the sky before it can even begin conducting pointless acrobatic gimmicks.
Modern warfare is a battle of technology, their will be no fancy WWII-style aerial dogfights that are best left for tom clancy novels: the SU-30SM will be nose-diving into the arabian desert before the pilots even realises that there is an enemy approaching them.

Let them fight small fight of one single day, Su-30 Flanker Vs F-15 and let us see who be oga
@agaugust,in my opinion,it is disturbing to compare an aircraft that features thrust vectoring nozzles and canard forewings like the SU-30MK with the F-15C that has none.
However, even without the maneoverability edge, the F-15 can beat down the SU-30 in real life combat scenario due to its superior EW system.Forget the COPE '04,it was only by virtue of the restrictive rule of engagement{coupled with the fact that india pitted their best pilots against regular USAF pilots, while outnumbering them at the same time} that allowed the SU30 win the contest.
In real life, when the F15 is functioning at full capacity, the SU30 is toast.F15 with its superior raytheon AESA radar,ECM and AIM-120 missiles will shoot down the SU30 with its inferior bar radar and EW system, just like what later happened at the Red Flag '08.Once the F15 jams all of the SU30 guided missiles, the rest becomes history.

The difference between Israel and Georgia is that Israel has a strong military backed by a huge nuclear arsenal, while Georgia doesnt.
I'm not spouting pro-israeli sentiments out of some misguided sense of loyalty or religious overzealousness,I'm simply stating the facts on ground.
Unlike China,Russia seems to favour excessive noice-making and inordinate use of brute force to throw ill-concieved tantrums in hopes of asserting the tattered semblance of power it has left.
Perhaps Russia's scare tantics may have worked in the WWII era,but it certainly does not work in the civilized society of today.
