Anyways, I once taught in a primary school. Believe me, using complex shortcuts to teach kids could be quite unrewarding. Maybe na those 'butty' them wey I teach sha O!

Too many complexities in the use of shortcuts.


While inexperienced teachers may find this 'helpful' an experienced teacher knows otherwise. Students (especially primary school students) should be taught how to do pure calculations and not some tricks which will make them become mentally lazy.
