The way I see it, as long as the bones within the meat are the type that can be cracked or broken into sharp fragments by a dog, then its not safe (and believe me, a mature dog can easily do that to any hollow long bone, even the raw ones)

The only reason why raw feeding can be frowned on is the disease cos one may not actually know the source, boiled meat are usually stronger Dan raw ones, u know dt right? Dsame goes for the bone. If one wants to avoid his dog choking, then u entire stop feeding bones, boiling bone makes it have higher chances of choking than when it's raw

Hmm, Ontop meet Eragon, una no want make my guy enjoy this him thread, op Abeg, for 9ja standard, ur Gsd is OK, although not a pure breed. overtime Nigeria has gotten their own standard for straight back(working line) even if e no the real standard for Gsd, so d dog is Ok.
But for general standard, AKC, FCI ND some odaz, it's nt up to standard. Just enjoy ur pup

All he wanted then was meat ND diamond like I said, he ate nothing, left d bowl of food till I came bk in d evening, ofcourse I tried giving it some things mk e no die, but basically he was just drinking water all thru that period.

i don't mean to offend you i just want to inform you that your pup has the parvo virus and from what i see in those pictures, is exhibiting early signs.You probably cannot save nor sell the pup at this point so your best course of action will be to seperate the pup from the rest of the kernel, i hope you have not been keeping them together? Parvo is a very serious disease

Is this a new marketing strategy? First thing first, u re a vetirinarian not a vetirinary doctor, secondly is that how u diagnose pups brought to u? Thru pictures? You must be really good at your Job, all through my life, a Doctor has never looked at me and told me that I have malaria, without listening to my symptoms, observing me or conducting tests. Never knew it works d oda way with dogs, you must be spectacular
