PoliticsBREAKING: EFCC Moves Against Saraki's Wife, Yar'adua's Daughter. by Everfrank(op): 5:10pm On Jul 22, 2015
The daughter of former President Umaru Yar’ Adua and wife of former Kebbi State Governor, Saidu Dakingari, Zaina Dakingari, has been invited by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission over alleged fraud to the tune of N2billion perpetrated during her husband’s tenure as governor of the Northwest State.
Also invited for questioning for alleged money laundering is Toyin Saraki, wife of the Senate President and former governor of Kwara State, Bukola Saraki.
Mrs Saraki, a source at the anti-graft agency disclosed, is wanted in relation to questionable inflow of funds into companies where she has interest. She is expected to report at the Commission’s headquarters in Abuja on July 28, 2015; where a crack team of investigators have already been assembled to grill her.
Mrs. Dakingari on the other hand was initially expected to report for questioning at the EFCC headquarters today. However, Premium Times gathered that the former Kebbi first lady sent words that she was away to Saudi for Umrah (lesser hajj), and pleaded to be allowed to report on ‎ July 27, 2015.
She is expected to explain to operatives of the anti-graft agency the source of the steady stream of huge cash into her companies, while she held sway as ‘first lady’ of Kebbi State.
Contacted for comments, EFCC spokesp‎erson, Wilson Uwujaren, said, “I’m aware that a new set of suspects w‎ere recently invited,” Mr. Uwujaren said. “It’s not impossible the two women are among them.”

FamilyRe: Help, A Married Woman Refuses To Leave My House, How Can I Send Her Away? by Everfrank(m): 4:15am On Jul 19, 2015
olola4:
It started around February, this woman happens to be a colleague at work but is 3year old marriage broke(with 2 kids)and her husband who I know as a very aggressive man (on the day he came to visit his wife at the office, I think he came to give her something he almost slap the security officer who was asking him what he came to do) sent the wife out of the house. After the husband have sent the wife away the only option the wife(my colleague at work) have is to move to the residence of her elder sister who happened to be my own neighbour in the same flat.

At first the only thing I do is to drop her children at school and carry her along to the office, later since am still single and am the only one leaving in my flat except sometimes when my fiancee or my younger brother come spend some days/weeks in my place, she started coming to my flat to watch film, she said her sister didnt subscribe and she is missing her favourite T.V. programs and opera, later she started watching film over night and now she is now leaving in my flat with the excuse that her sister's husband send her packing.

The problem now is that my fiancee cant come over to my place, i have to always lie to her that am not at home, and the woman herself is seducing me by wearing tight inside the house, also am the one to buy everything including foodstuffs and provisions even toothpaste.

The day I sat her down and told her that am not comfortable with her staying with me she was crying and when her one year old daughter saw her crying she also started crying and also she brings visitors which I hate, this will make me be like a stranger in my house.

pls fellow nairalander i need your advice.
Rent a house for her and convince her pack out. Invite your fiancee to stay with you for a while or better still fast-forward your marriage. Women have a way of settling such matters. You can rent another apartment for yourself and leave her with a few months advance rent payment.

Birthday: Pastor Gives Out
22 Cars

The senior pastor of Champions Royal
Assembly, Kubwa, Abuja, Joshua Iginla,
on Sunday gave out 22 cars and millions
of naira ranging from N50,000 to
N500,000.
The pastor, who celebrated his birthday
and that of his wife at the service, also
unveiled 33 books written by him.
Presenting the cars, among which were
10 SUV cars to the beneficiaries, Iginla
challenged the well-to-do in the society
to assist the less-privileged.
The pastor, who said that he had tasted
poverty and knew how it felt, said the
less-privileged of today could become
important personalities tomorrow.
“My birthday is all about giving to the
needy. What I do here is just 10 per cent
of what I do secretly.
“I give to teach people and to provoke
them to give. I have many people on
scholarship, I have widows on my
payroll, we have rescued prostitutes and
empowered them with skills acquisition
programmes, I have orphans I am taking
care of,” he said.
“I have schools of the handicapped that
we have been assisting and the
physically-challenged students
irrespective of their religions. Gospel is
practical, not only spiritual,” he said.
Iginla said this was the third time that he
would be giving out all his cars without
leaving any one behind for himself.

PoliticsI Remain Loyal To Buhari- Atiku by Everfrank(op): 5:23pm On Jun 21, 2015
A former Vice President, Atiku Abubakar,
has pledged his loyalty and support to
President Muhammadu Buhari.
Mr. Abubakar’s pledge is contained in a
statement on Sunday by his media office.
“Make no mistake about it Atiku Abubakar
holds Buhari in the highest esteem, and
would always remain loyal to him, and
support him in every endeavour to succeed
as president,” the statement signed by the
head of the media team, Paul Ibe, said.
Mr. Abubakar’s pledge comes amidst
rumours that he was a mastermind of the
emergence of Bukola Saraki as the senate
president. Mr. Saraki, who like Mr.
Abubakar is a member of President
Buhari’s All Progressives Congress, APC,
emerged senate president contrary to wish
of his party. He got a block support of
opposition senators of the Peoples
Democratic Party, PDP, to emerge senate
president at an election were 51 APC
senators were absent due to a scheduled
meeting with Mr. Buhari.
Since his emergence, which was initially
rejected by the APC, Mr. Saraki has been
making efforts to reconcile with the
president.
Mr. Abubakar, who like Mr. Saraki
decamped from the PDP to APC before the
general elections, described the politics of
the emergence of Mr. Saraki as a product
“of interplay of politics which is itself in
constant motion.”
Read the former vice president’s statement
below.
A former Vice President and chieftain of
All Progressives Congress (APC), Atiku
Abubakar says it is dangerous for any
individual or group in the ranks of the
ruling party to constitute themselves into
an opposition even before the constitution
and take off President Muhammadu
Buhari’s government.
The former Vice President made the call
against the backdrop of developments in
the polity, which he notes are interplay of
forces and interests that are dynamic, but
must not be promoted to the point of being
a threat to our democracy and the new
administration.
In a press statement released by his media
office in Abuja on Sunday, 21 June and
signed by Paul Ibe, the Turaki Adamawa
while acknowledging that it is legitimate
and desirable for individuals or groups to
seek to pursue their interest, it must be
done with the benefit of sustaining our
democracy and promoting equity, fair play
and justice in mind.
“Anything to the contrary may jeopardise
our hard-earned democracy and constitute
a clog in the wheel of the new
administration,” Atiku said.
He noted that because of the historic
nature of the mandate of President
Muhammadu Buhari and the arduous
challenges ahead to deliver on making
Nigeria work for all Nigerians, it is
important, especially for members of his
own party, to rally behind him in the
quest to enthrone good governance, that
will spur security and stability, economic
and social development, job creation,
infrastructure renewal and above all a
better life for Nigerians.
The former Vice President urged members
of the APC to emulate the unity of all the
presidential contestants after the party’s
Lagos primaries and support the President
to form his government and get to work.
The statement exonerated Atiku Abubakar
of the purported hijack of the party and
the National Assembly towards 2019 as
figment of the imagination of those
promoting it and asked Nigerians to ignore
all such insinuation.
He notes that the recent outcomes of the
National Assembly election contrary to
insinuations are products of interplay of
politics which is itself in constant motion.
“In politics, it is a mistake to expect fixed
outcomes. As the President has done, let’s
all come to terms with what has happened
in the interest of the system and move on.
Suffice it to say that the new
administration should be allowed a
smooth take off and be allowed the
atmosphere to deliver. On this, I stand
with President Buhari,” Atiku said.
The Turaki Adamawa while restating his
unalloyed commitment to the Buhari
administration pledged to back this
commitment with all of the assets at his
disposal.
“Not only did Atiku Abubakar congratulate
Buhari after his emergence as the
presidential candidate of the APC at the
party’s national convention in Lagos, he
also handed over his best assets to the
Buhari Presidential Campaign. The former
Vice President enthusiastically handled the
diplomatic assignment of seeking
endorsement for Dr. Adesina as the
President of the African Development Bank
on behalf of President Buhari and would
be available for any other assignments as
the President pleases.
“Make no mistake about it Atiku Abubakar
holds Buhari in the highest esteem, and
would always remain loyal to him, and
support him in every endeavour to succeed
as president.”
The APC chieftain also called on Nigerians
with members of the President’s own party
taking a lead in their undiluted support of
his administration.
“We, the members of the President’s own
family need to lead in this direction for
others to follow for the good of our nation
and its peoples.”
Atiku Abubakar denounced the increasing
determination of some people to draw a
wedge between President Buhari and
himself.
“It has become crystal clear even to the
blind that the motives of these hatchet men
who are desperate to take every available
newspaper space is to insult, vilify and
calumniate the former Vice President.
“We cannot allow liars, denigrators and
blackmailers and their sponsors to use
Atiku as platform to ingratiate themselves
with President Buhari and hijack his
presidency under the pretext of loving him
more than anyone else. These political
ventriloquists are hiding behind the cover
of anonymity to achieve their sinister
agenda of making Atiku the fall guy in the
unfolding political developments.”

In keeping to his promise, the Director of Public Prosecution under Buhari applied to withdraw the N2.5 billion fraud case against Fmr Gov of Bayelsa state and Buhari's ally Chief Timpre Sylva on June 1st, 2015. The action of the DPP led to striking out of another N19billion fraud suit against Sylva by Justice Ahmed Muhammed of the Federal High Court, Abuja on Wednesday, June 10, 2015. According to the learned Judge,
"the charges instituted against Sylva by the EFCC were an abuse of court process since they were based on the same set of transactions involved in the N2.45bn charges that were recently dropped against Sylva."

Transparency:
Buhari's administration promised to be very transparent. In fact, Baba pledged to lead by example by making public declaration of his Assets and liabilities. Till date #Baba is yet to make any declaration public. He only did the secret declaration like other public officers.

Security:
President Buhari promised to fight BH and BringBackOurGirls. Since his inauguration in May 29, Boko Haram have strucked a NINE times and killed over 500 Nigerians. We are yet to hear of any update with respect to the return of Chibok school girls.

Economy: Since coming to power petrol stations have continued to sell fuel at N120-N130 per litre across Nigeria instead of the approved N87 pump price. Nigerians have no clue whether there is still subsidy or not.

Governance:
Since coming to power, President Buhari is yet to appoint Senior Government officials like the Chief of Staff, Secretary to the Government of the Federation, Service Chiefs, Heads of Parastatals etcetera

I wish I can remember more of Baba's achievement. May God help Nigeria!
We know that the op is loyal to the defeated president and all those claims do not hold water.
Buhari has declared his assets unlike GEJ who is now stupendous rich. He never declared his assets before and after leaving office.

We all know that Jonathan was behind Nyako's illegal impeachment because he accused the Nigerian military of genocide against hapless civilians. Amnesty International have not only confirmed Nyako's claims but went ahead to name names of military officers and ask for investigations and prosecution. So you think Buhari forgets the role of the military in the inglorious Era of Jonathan? How they hide his certificates and all that? You'll have to think again.

The op is a joke to claim that Buhari is not doing anything about insecurity. Nigerians know that the maiden foreign trip of PMB to Chad and Niger was not for safari but to strengthen the operation against insurgency.

PMB is not a magician to just wish fuel price back to 84 naira. Not after GEJ and his cronies in oil and gas almost shut down the country with fuel scarcity in the twilight of the regime.

As for appointments you are not in a position and lack the locus standii to decide when the President makes his appointments. The Constitution gives him enough time to do that. So PMB should ignore pessimists like you and take his time to put square and round pegs into square and round holes respectively. And not the other way round.

Accusing PMB of whatever happened to Sylva's case amounts to mischief that only gullible minds will listen. The case did not start yesterday. If the case was diligently prosecuted by the deceased ignoble regime it will have ended with them. You must be told that the independence of the judiciary from the Executive and legislative arms of the government is what democracy is all about. You alleged Buhari did not do anything yet you are implying that he had the case against Sylva struck out.

To be sincere the name Bacanista rings a bell in this forum but you got it all wrong this time. You must back your criticisms with verifiable facts and logic as not all of us are fools.
Raising this phony allegations about Buhari this early portrays you as a hater of Buhari and Nigeria. This will make sensible people not take you serious any longer

CrimeMike Okiro Subdued During ICPC Questioning Over N350 Million Fraud by Everfrank(op): 4:44pm On Jun 05, 2015
Former Inspector General of Police Mike Okiro, who also is the current chairman of the Police Service Commission (PSC), was reportedly subdued during questioning yesterday by anti-corruption agents over his alleged role in a fraud involving N350 million.

A source at the Independent Corrupt Practices and Other Related Offences Commission (ICPC) told a correspondent of SaharaReporters that Mr. Okiro seemed sometimes disheartened yesterday as he was questioned on alleged fraudulent embezzlement of funds obtained by the police commission for an election-related study.

Mr. Okiro presented himself early yesterday morning at the offices of the ICPC. His police orderly, George Todonu, and two officials of the Police Service Commission, including an accountant, A. Bisala, accompanied him to the ICPC. Other PSC officials arrived at the ICPC headquarters about two hours later, our source disclosed.

Mr. Okiro’s interrogation arose from a petition against him that was submitted to the ICPC by Aaron Kaase, an official in the PSC’s press and public relations department. The Police Service Commission suspended Mr. Kaase for contacting the media with allegations of Mr. Okiro’s fraudulent activities.

The petition accused the former Inspector General of massively defrauding the Police Service Commission.

Part of Mr. Kaase’s petition alleged that Mr. Okiro swindled the PSC of more than N275 million. A copy of the petition stated that the PSC received N350 million “from the National Security Adviser (NSA) purportedly to train her staff in monitoring the conduct of the

Nigeria police in the concluded general election.” The petitioner added that the PSC asked for and received approval from Bureau of Public Procurement (BPP) to use “selective tendering method” for the training of commission’s staff who were to monitor the police role in the 2015 general elections.

Mr. Kaase wrote to the ICPC that Mr. Okiro “quoted the prices for the training as follows: Abuja (Abuja staff) 500 participants, awarded to Bobec & Associates at N95.3 million; Kano staff (200 participants) awarded to Direct Knowledge Consult Limited at N95 million and Lagos staff (200 participants) awarded to Tzone Communications Limited at N85 million.” His Kaase’s petition underscored the fraudulent nature of Mr. Okiro’s breakdown of the training funds. Specifically, the petitioner noted that the entire employees of the Police Service Commission are not up to 400 in number.

“It is also a fact that the Commission has no office in Lagos and the entire South West. It is also a fact that the Commission has less than 10 members of staff in Kano,” the petition stated, adding that Mr. Okiro misled the Bureau of Public Procurement in order to obtain an approval for a fraudulent disbursement of the N350 million.

Other allegations in Mr. Kaase’s petition include one that, in 2013, Mr. Okiro received N4.6 million ostensibly for a first class flight ticket to the U.S., but never made the trip. The petitioner also accused Mr. Okiro’s police orderly, Inspector George Todonu, of obtaining cash supposedly meant for two different police conferences that were scheduled within the same dates in Orlando, Florida (USA) and Dublin, Ireland. According to the petition, despite the fact that he collected monies for the two coinciding conferences, Mr. Todonu did not attend either conference.

Mr. Kaase also accused the former IGP of using several of his personal aides, including Supreme Ibitomi and Peter Opara, as fronts to collect allowances from the commission.

In a related development, Mr. Kaase reported that he had faced harassment and his life threatened for submitting the petition. According to him, at a meeting at Mr. Okiro’s office on June 2, 2015, a visibly shaken former IGP asked him to withdraw his petition, retract his media statements, and write an apology in exchange for the lifting of his suspension.

Our source at the ICPC declined to reveal specific details of Mr. Okiro’s responses to specific allegations in Mr. Kaase’s petition, adding simply that the anti-corruption agency wanted to “do a thorough investigation.”

Mr. Okiro was granted administrative bail and left the ICPC headquarters just after 4 p.m. yesterday after questioning.
