What's even more ridiculous is that the users are led to believe that Fanbox has developed some cutting-edge, highly propriety technologies that are serving to fulfill its mathematically impossible promise. In reality, this is how Fanbox manages it all and comes out with profits: A small percentage of users -- who serve as a bait -- are actually paid while the larger percentage have either lost their money to Fanbox, or have been put in convoluted loops waiting for years to cash out their supposed earnings, or are just trying to figure out how to do things the right way since a long time. Another interesting thing to take note of is Fanbox's Terms of Service Agreement to which new users have to agree in order to be able to use the site and generate earnings. Ok, i have a cousin who is 27, the father is a big time millionaire, now, this my cousin has 4 other siblings who are all graduates, but he is an SSCE holder. Given that he was not too 'bright' academically, the father had him join the family business when he was 20, this guy speaks and writes English almost as good as the best, speaks fluent French, and has traveled to at least 10 countries outside Africa, and doing extremely well for himself, at 27.

I remember about 5 years ago when i was discussing this my cousin with a friend, and my friend told me that the best thing my cousin will do is to get an education first. And this got me thinking, at what level can we say that one is educated? what exactly is education? does it mean that without 'conventional education' that one will most likely be doomed? is it right to say that all university graduates are educated? is it also right to say that anybody without tertiary institution qualification is not educated?

The Legal Thinking And Why The Law Is Not On Saraki’s Side By Lawyer Idahosa Anthony

The news that charges have been filed against the Senate President, Dr. Bukola Saraki at the Code of Conduct Tribunal was received by many with a shock. The expectation, however, was that the accused would be in haste to clear his name, as honourable men would want to.
On the contrary, Dr. Saraki filed an application before the Federal High Court seeking to stop the scheduled trial at the Code of Conduct Tribunal. The application was granted ex-parte.
The ex-parte application and its grant represent the two of the most frustrating avenues through which justice is frustrated and judicial process abused in our country’s courts of ‘justice’. The fact that the number three man in our political hierarchy is the perpetrator in this case is profoundly disappointing.
More importantly, however, is the fact that the grant of the application was in manifest error of trite law such that keen watchers may be pardoned for suspecting that something underhand was involved in the entire process.
In the first place, no court of law has the powers to interfere with, or in any way restrain the exercise of the judicial powers of another court of co-ordinate jurisdiction. This is trite and well established in accordance with the principles of the doctrine of judicial precedent. In this case, the Federal High Court and
the Code of Conduct Tribunal are courts of co-ordinate jurisdiction: appeals from the decisions of the Code of Conduct Tribunal lie to the Court of Appeal (s.23 (4) of the
Code of Conduct Bureau and Tribunal Act) and appeals from the decisions of a Federal high Court lie to the court of Appeal (s. 243, Constitution of the Federal Republic of
Nigeria, 1999).
In the second place, an injunction restraining the Code of Conduct Bureau is misdirected and therefore, futile. The Code of Conduct Bureau is not a prosecuting authority; under section 3 of the Code of Conduct Bureau and Tribunal Act, it is merely an administrative and investigative authority and its role in the prosecution of defaulters under the Code of Conduct Bureau and Tribunal Act is limited to recommending persons for prosecution. The prosecuting authority in respect of offences under the Code of Conduct Bureau and Tribunal Act is the Office of the Attorney General. Thus section 24 (3) of the Code of Conduct Bureau and Tribunal Act provides the Attorney General or any one nominated by him may bring charges in respect of offences under the Act.
In the third place, it is incorrect for Dr. Saraki to hinge the basis of his ex parte application on the fact that there is no incumbent Attorney General capable of instituting actions against him or any criminal action whatsoever. This line of legal reasoning, once regularly cited, has since been discredited by the Supreme Court in a number of cases and, most recently, in the case of Federal Republic of Nigeria v. Senator Adewunmi where the Supreme Court, per Umaru Altu Kalgo, JSC said “There is no doubt at all that the power to institute criminal proceedings against any person in the 1999 Constitution lies on the Attorney-General of the State or the Federation as the case may be, but such power may be exercised by the Attorney-General himself or through any officers of his department. See Sections 174 and 211 of the 1999 Constitution.
These sections though very similar in content do not require that the officers can only exercise the power to institute criminal proceedings if the Attorney General expressly donated his power to them. The provisions of the sections presume that any officer in any department of the Attorney General’s office is empowered to initiate criminal proceedings unless it is proved otherwise”.
Furthermore, section 25(3) provides that the question whether any authority has been given in pursuance of this section requiring the Attorney General to donate his prosecutorial powers under the Act, “shall not be inquired into by any person”.
The decent course for an accused, if he has concerns, is to raise preliminary objection(s) before the tribunal where he has been charged. Dr. Saraki is advised to so do if he is to remain qualified to remain as the number one lawmaker in this country.
On September 18, 2015, following Dr. Bukola Saraki’s failure to appear before the Code of Conduct Tribunal as charged, the Tribunal, on the application of the prosecutor,
issued a bench warrant for the arrest of Dr. Bukola Saraki. This power is inherent in any tribunal having the full powers of a court of law, such as the Code of Conduct
Tribunal. Furthermore, sections 2 and 14 of the 3rd Schedule to the Code of Conduct Bureau and Tribunal Act empower the tribunal to compel the attendance of accused persons and witnesses.
Under section 23 of the Code of Conduct Bureau and Tribunal Act, if found guilty, the tribunal is empowered to impose any of the following punishments:
(a) Vacation of office or any elective or nominated office, as the case may be;
(b) Disqualification from holding any public office (whether elective or not) for a period not exceeding ten years;
and
(c) Seizure and forfeiture to the State of any property acquired in abuse or corruption of office.
Furthermore, trial or conviction under the Code of Conduct Bureau and Tribunal Act does not preclude a separate trial under any other applicable criminal law (Section 24 Code of Conduct Bureau and Tribunal Act).

More Facebook postings of the embattled INEC staff, Charles Okoye, who is allegedly on the payroll of the Rivers State APC have further linked him to being a member of the opposition party in Rivers State and under the sponsorship of the party to lie under oath.

It will be recalled that Charles Okoye was directly subpoenaed by the Rivers State APC and was at the Rivers State Governorship Election Tribunal to tender a personally authored report which he recanted upon cross examination.

In new Facebook postings of Charles Okoye obtained online, the embattled INEC staff who is allegedly on the payroll of former governor Rotimi Amaechi indicated that he is available for financial rewards and bribes.

On August 6, 2015, posting on Facebook, Charles Okoye wrote: “I have taken a sabbatical from Facebook and refrained from making posts on the current condition of the country because am not being paid yet by the APC. When I am paid, I will do that”.

On August 6, Charles Okoye posted: “Our party promised Nigerians change. ..”

While on August 28, 2015 Charles Okoye took to Facebook to praise his paymaster, Former Governor Amaechi .

He wrote: “However, you look at it, Amaechi is part of this government. Even if he is not, have you considered that if Jonathan had won Amaechi would have been a dead man”.

The compromised INEC staff who was personally subpoenaed by the Rivers State APC to give questionable testimony on the governorship election has already been disowned by INEC as a fraud.

Immediate past Rivers State Governor, Rotimi Amaechi, has since deployed his vast illegally acquired wealth to sponsor Security operatives, few compromised INEC staff and a section of the media to distort facts about the happenings at the Rivers State Tribunal.

Amaechi is said to have misappropriated over N3 trillion that accrued to Rivers State in his eight years of misgovernance, alleged thievery and unbridled looting of state facilities. It is alleged that these resources are now being used to compromise agencies of state and their tainted officials.

That Facebook account was faked. Just go to Facebook search and type "Nyesom Wike" or " Muhammadu Buhari" and you'll be amazed how many accounts will pop up. I searched for 'Charles Okoye" and more than twelve accounts popped up. This cheap gimmick by election riggers won't work. Wike and PDP must prove that they did not create that account.
What about all the police officers that testified at the tribunal. Show us their Facebook accounts also. That election is as good as cancelled, Wike is as good as disqualified, prosecuted and jailed for causing the death of innocent Nigerians. We shall see.

But an official report from the police confirmed that the victims died in a reprisal attack on the community. Which one is the truth?

It was bad leadership of former governor Joshua Dariye that was the Genesis of the uprisings on the Plateau not only between you and the fulanis but the resident hausas as well. Dariye was on record inciting the berom and others against hausas that that have coexisted for over a century. He was reported to have personally ordered attacks against resident hausas which led to imposition and extention a state of emergency and his suspension as a governor.
To be frank with you it's only through give and take, forgiveness, understanding and mutual respect that you'll attain the peace that evade you. The berom are fighting a war they cannot win. The nomadic nature of fulani and their massive population, spread and determination not to forgive or forget put them at an edge above you. They are tougher and know exactly where your people are at any given time but it's very difficult for you to trace them in the bush. Even when you do you only get two or three of them at a time. But you people are sitting ducks either in in your villages or in the next villages as refugees. So seek for genuine peace.
I hope your plea will reach your intended recipient. Buhari will definitely intervene as he promised. But be ready to give and take and to accept whatever settlement that may be reached. We suggested the inclusion of the cattle fulani representatives in the Constitution Amendment Conference organized by former president Jonathan but nobody took us serious.

I abandoned my PGD course that is nearing completion. I have taken all prescribed courses, written and passed all the exams that will have graduated me with a PGD in Criminology and Security Studies. But due to some personal reasons- including a change of job schedule I couldn't meet up to write my final year project. This is three years now. Had I known all my labour on her would be in futility, I wouldn’t have spent my hard earned money on her. I looked forward to a bright future with her but my dreams have been shattered by the very one I gave true love. I’m an OND holder but into a lucrative business which is doing very well. I met my girl online four years ago, though that notwithstanding, people can meet anywhere. I was already done with my OND while she was in 200L in the university. She told me of how her mother died during the delivery of their lastborn and her dad had to remarry leaving her to cater for herself most times. I felt the urge to render the little assistance I could and I started giving her money for her upkeep that was like six months after we met. I can even remember paying her tuition fees one session. Now four years down the memory lane, after her graduation and NYSC, and getting a job in an ICT firm with a good pay, it suddenly dawned on her that she can't marry an OND holder because of the gap in education. I told her it is the love between us that matters most but she said she loves me but we are not compatible education wise as she still want to further her education. All these years she was “gulping” my money, calling me sweet names, she didn’t see the incompatibility. When her future was in disarray I was her messiah (am not boasting here) but now that she can look forward to a bright future I’m no more in the picture.

The best decision is to let her go and look for love elsewhere. Otherwise you are inviting frustration to yourself. An exact case happened with a colleague of mine who never wanted to let go and eventually got frustrated. He later saw reason with us and let go. Her mother was actually the cause. She told him point blank and actually convinced the girl that he is not man enough for her. Six years later this girl could not make any headway with any man and started making contact with her ex. She showed remorse, expressed regrets, apologized and persisted. I personally convinced my colleague to forgive and take her back. Their old love rekindled and prevailed and he not only took her back but married her this past June. I was his best man and they pledged to be ever grateful to me for my being the tool that God used to make their reunion possible. They are living happily today.

These people needs proper education an enlightenment by their leaders. Rubbish. When you kill Fulani and rustle their cattle the media won't report it. They only report when the Fulani take revenge. The Fulani are one of the most marginalized group in this country. But make una continue. You can't finish them but it's you that will finish. If a Fulani cows eat your crops there are legal ways to settle such matters. But when you employ jungle justice they have no choice but to fight to live.

It was shocking that Alhaji Lai Muhammed, the spokesman for All Progressive Congress (APC) will come out in public to make a remark that suggests that APC leader, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu and Hon Rotimi Amaechi have no case pending with EFCC. To quote Alhaji Lai Muhammed "With what evidence will the EFCC go after Tinubu or Amaechi. What were they accused of? Why will they go after them if there are no petitions against them?". Is Lai Muhammed really asking what both men are being accused of? I think it is proper to give him a reminder of events.

EFCC's Investigation on Tinubu
In September 2006, the EFCC Chairman Nuhu Ribadu made known before the Senate that then Lagos state Governor, Bola Tinubu is under corruption investigation that is/was of "International dimension". I believe that Nigerians will want to know the outcome of the EFCC investigation against BAT that was said to be of "international dimension". Rather than coming out to ask Nigerians what "Tinubu" is accused of, it will be patriotic for Lai Muhammed to charge the President and EFCC to show transparency and leadership by telling Nigerians the status of the investigation-to determine whether or not BAT has a case to answer.

For the record: At no time did ANY court acquit Tinubu of theft. Petition Against Amaechi Sent To EFCC, Presidency:
On August 5, 2015 it was reported that a group known as The Integrity Group, sent a "well detailed petition of corruption against former governor of Rivers state, Chibuike Amaechi to President Buhari and the EFCC". Neither the Presidency nor the EFCC has denied receipt of the I.G's petition. I don't want to believe that Lai Muhammed made the statement of "no petition" against Amaechi out of ignorance. I will advice that he consult with the EFCC and the Presidency, and encourage them to work on the petition so as to establish the innocence or otherwise of the former governor.

Buhari's Administration Insincerity With Anti-corruption:
Recall that on July 23, Spokesman Femi Adesina made known to Nigerians that the anti-corruption probe will only start and end with the immediate past government. According to him the President won't bother to probe the far past. He further said “The far past will includes Obasanjo and others. But the president has said he will not waste time to go that far.”

However, the above statement is in sharp contrast with Buhari comment/promise when he was running for the same office of the President in 2011 under CPC. In fact, he made it categorically that he will probe from the 1999 administration. In his own words;

A Challenge To President Buhari and APC:
One of the biggest gaffe of the immediate past administration is the inability to bring alleged corrupt officials to justice (just like its own predecessors). The President should live up to his supposed tag as an anti-corruption czar and bring corrupt officers (whether near past, far past or present) to justice. He should revisit the EFCC investigation/report against Tinubu and others; pursue the petition against Amaechi; and bring every official that has stolen public funds to justice. In absence of sincere anti-corruption fight, he will continue to be seen as insincere and unserious.

You voted against Buhari but you are now the one telling him what to do. Buhari promised to fight corruption and corruption he fights. Baba go slow and steady has refused to allow loosers, the guilty and detractors to stampede him.
The EFCC will surely investigate the Petition against Amaechi based on merit. You never called on Jonathan to pursue whatever petition against Tinubu but here you are trying to cause disaffection among people that jointly free our country from saboteurs. God uses Tinubu and Amaechi to make Buhari president and He will continue to use them to better everybody's lot.
