DONSMITH123:That Facebook account was faked. Just go to Facebook search and type "Nyesom Wike" or " Muhammadu Buhari" and you'll be amazed how many accounts will pop up. I searched for 'Charles Okoye" and more than twelve accounts popped up. This cheap gimmick by election riggers won't work. Wike and PDP must prove that they did not create that account. What about all the police officers that testified at the tribunal. Show us their Facebook accounts also. That election is as good as cancelled, Wike is as good as disqualified, prosecuted and jailed for causing the death of innocent Nigerians. We shall see. |
dave2meek:Give just three instances. |
This couple just got married.

oluwaSmith1:It true. These are the professional cattle rustlers and murderers of Fulani herdsmen. Yet many of their kins and haters will be on Nairaland calling for genocide against the Fulani for confronting these monsters. |
donholy28:You are right. |
Caption this creativity.

aim5:You are one of them now. Lead the war. No be for mouth. |
Aareonakakanfo:This is sensational journalism by Vanguard. They want us to believe the version from an anonymous source that the victims were emissaries on a peace mission as the title of the story indicate. But an official report from the police confirmed that the victims died in a reprisal attack on the community. Which one is the truth? |
u21day:I got mine on glo. Went there yesterday and it was a fresh registration all over. |
Imokay:I sympathise with you for your lost. But some Fulani folks who lost their loved ones are equally grieving. You have presented your case well but can we now hear from a cattle Fulani man? Definitely not because while you have this mouthpiece they don't. We can only judge your matter here out of bias, malice or hatred for the cattle fulani. Some gullible posters above have already done that. The fulanis talk on radios and are painting even a worse picture of their predicament. How about that? You people must sheath your swords and end this vicious circle of revenge and counter revenge. It's not doing you any good. It was bad leadership of former governor Joshua Dariye that was the Genesis of the uprisings on the Plateau not only between you and the fulanis but the resident hausas as well. Dariye was on record inciting the berom and others against hausas that that have coexisted for over a century. He was reported to have personally ordered attacks against resident hausas which led to imposition and extention a state of emergency and his suspension as a governor. To be frank with you it's only through give and take, forgiveness, understanding and mutual respect that you'll attain the peace that evade you. The berom are fighting a war they cannot win. The nomadic nature of fulani and their massive population, spread and determination not to forgive or forget put them at an edge above you. They are tougher and know exactly where your people are at any given time but it's very difficult for you to trace them in the bush. Even when you do you only get two or three of them at a time. But you people are sitting ducks either in in your villages or in the next villages as refugees. So seek for genuine peace. I hope your plea will reach your intended recipient. Buhari will definitely intervene as he promised. But be ready to give and take and to accept whatever settlement that may be reached. We suggested the inclusion of the cattle fulani representatives in the Constitution Amendment Conference organized by former president Jonathan but nobody took us serious. |
In 2014, tired of feeling ashamed and ostracized by society for their periods, a group of Spanish female performance artists made a public statement by wearing white pants covered with blood stains. The street performance, titled “Sangre Menstrual" (literally translated as “menstrual blood”), is a protest against the “patriarchal systems” that oppress women during menstruation. Menstruating women have been viewed as unclean since biblical times. The group aims to “reclaim the female body and free normal bodily functions from shame and judgement." A statement from the “Manifesto for the Visibility of the Period” read, “I stain [my pants], and it doesn't make me sick. I stain [my pants] and I don't find it disgusting." The performance created “ a larger debate surrounding reproduction and the female body," and has represented the “body as a political act of defiance."

I abandoned my PGD course that is nearing completion. I have taken all prescribed courses, written and passed all the exams that will have graduated me with a PGD in Criminology and Security Studies. But due to some personal reasons- including a change of job schedule I couldn't meet up to write my final year project. This is three years now. But up till now my portal is still active with all my results on it. Can I resume and complete my study. What do I do? My centre is Port Harcourt. Thanks. |
ConfessionsNgr:The best decision is to let her go and look for love elsewhere. Otherwise you are inviting frustration to yourself. An exact case happened with a colleague of mine who never wanted to let go and eventually got frustrated. He later saw reason with us and let go. Her mother was actually the cause. She told him point blank and actually convinced the girl that he is not man enough for her. Six years later this girl could not make any headway with any man and started making contact with her ex. She showed remorse, expressed regrets, apologized and persisted. I personally convinced my colleague to forgive and take her back. Their old love rekindled and prevailed and he not only took her back but married her this past June. I was his best man and they pledged to be ever grateful to me for my being the tool that God used to make their reunion possible. They are living happily today. |
Tonniey:Rubbish. When you kill Fulani and rustle their cattle the media won't report it. They only report when the Fulani take revenge. The Fulani are one of the most marginalized group in this country. But make una continue. You can't finish them but it's you that will finish. If a Fulani cows eat your crops there are legal ways to settle such matters. But when you employ jungle justice they have no choice but to fight to live. |

barcanista:You voted against Buhari but you are now the one telling him what to do. Buhari promised to fight corruption and corruption he fights. Baba go slow and steady has refused to allow loosers, the guilty and detractors to stampede him. The EFCC will surely investigate the Petition against Amaechi based on merit. You never called on Jonathan to pursue whatever petition against Tinubu but here you are trying to cause disaffection among people that jointly free our country from saboteurs. God uses Tinubu and Amaechi to make Buhari president and He will continue to use them to better everybody's lot. Una go tire! |

Madrid (AFP) - A Spanish man died Sunday after being gored in the neck while filming a bull run through the streets of a town in central Spain with his mobile phone. "The young man was on the path of a bull run which he was filming with his mobile phone," said Jesus Hijosa, mayor of Villaseca de la Sagra, where the accident occurred. "A bull surprised him from behind and gored him in the neck," he told AFP. Villaseca de la Sagra is one of many towns across Spain that host annual festivals where crowds of people run ahead of a herd of bulls. Another young man was killed during a 2010 bull run in the town. One of the most famous bull runs is in Pamplona, which was immortalised by US author Ernest Hemingway in his 1926 novel "The Sun Also Rises". The 32-year-old man who died Sunday was from a neighbouring village and had come with friends to Villaseca de la Sagra on Saturday for the run, the mayor said. "This sends shivers down our spine... we organise these events as a tradition, so that people can enjoy them, but these things happen," Hijosa said. "Bulls are dangerous animals and when there are a lot of people some don't pay attention... you have to have your wits about you." Fifteen people have been killed in bull runs in Pamplona since 1911, where many foreign tourists join in the tradition. http://news.yahoo.com/man-gored-death-filming-spanish-bull-run-mobile-164957335.html

•Says he alienated Nigeria’s neighbours From Ikenna Emewu, Abuja The official visit of President Muhammadu Buhari to Cameroun to discuss joint efforts to curb Boko Haram in the region has thrown up an indictment of former President Goodluck Jonathan. A very credible Presidency source told Daily Sun that in the anti-terror war, Jonathan did not do much in forming a synergy with leaders of Nigeria’s neighbouring countries. The source said during Buhari’s interaction with his Camerounian counterpart, Paul Biya, he disclosed that Jonathan isolated himself from the leaders of Cameroun, Chad and Niger. “The major complaint, according to Biya, is that Jonathan never or seldom, at best, picked his calls. He said most times he called, Jonathan neither picked nor returned his calls. And as a result, the integration of efforts that should have stopped Boko Haram’s foray and unchallenged run was lacking.” Biya, according to our source, said he was sure that leaders of other neighbouring countries had the same experience, and therefore, questioned how Nigeria alone would have contained Boko Haram, knowing it is an international terror group with roots and connections in some other countries from where they get into Nigeria and carry out attacks. “This solo handling of the problem did not enable the neighbours put in much to solve the problem until it got this bad,” he said. The source also indicated that the Jonathan administration was lax and reluctant to bring under control people very close to that government who are flagrantly involved in crude oil theft and diversion. According to the source, while Jonathan was in power, he was aware that certain persons close to him and coming under the guise of the protection of his government were involved in high scale oil theft. Another source from the security outfit currently interrogating some key personalities of the past administration disclosed that one of them that was detained and later released told security agencies the Jonathan administration was quite privy to crude oil theft using some government agencies and individuals as fronts. Daily Sun was told that the administration acted in compromise while the theft lasted and never did much in checking the agencies, individuals and security fronts used in the theft. “There is no individual that would have access to the crude oil loading terminals, bring in a vessel and load the product and set sail to the high seas without being caught. We have several agencies of government from the petroleum corporation to the conventional security bodies like the Navy and other government bodies that patrol the territorial waters, even private security outfits. “So it is practically impossible that someone would beat all these hurdles unaided and sail out with loads of crude oil. The government was aware of the people involved and when or where the crude oil was taken. The neighbouring countries we share common sea boundaries with also knew that the Nigerian government under Jonathan merely compromised in the theft,” our source said. The Daily Sun |
LAWMAKERS at House of Representatives yesterday called for the reopening of investigations into some past unresolved high-profile murders extrajudicial killings, urging the police to be alive to their responsibilities, especially in crime prevention and investigation. However, a member of the All Progressives Congress (APC) from Imo State, Chikere Okafor, has decried the exclusion of his region in the recent leadership appointments in the lower chamber and called on the party to go beyond lip service and rhetoric to embrace every section of the country in the much touted spirit of the change. In its resolution during plenary on a motion by Kingsley Chinda on the need for further investigation into such cases, the House, presided by the Speaker, Yakubu Dogara, also mandated its committees on Police Affairs, and Public Safety and National Security (when constituted) to monitor the investigations of such cases and present an interim report within four weeks. Chinda (Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Rivers State), listed the cases as the killing of some traders at Apo, otherwise known as the “Apo Six,” the invasion and killings in Ogoniland by mobile policemen and soldiers, the military invasions of Odi in Bayelsa State and Zaki Biam in Benue State, and the killings in Obiaruku, Delta State. Others include the cold blood murder of Dele Giwa, the killing of Pa Alfred Rewane, Bola Ige, Funso Williams, Dr. Ayo Daramola, Chukwuma Ogbueli, Marshal Harry, A. K. Dikibo and Monday Ndor. While expressing concerns that there have been several cases of extrajudicial killings, some times by policemen and other security agencies, as well those committed by “unknown gunmen,” the lawmaker said that “efforts by successive administrations in tackling these had largely been ineffectual and short of expectations.” In another development, the House called for the construction of temporary schools in the Internally Displaced Persons (IDPs) camps in the North East to enable the children get education. In a motion, Asabe Vilita Bashir had sought a House resolution that the IDPs, presently occupying schools, be resettled at other places so that the schools, which have been closed to pupils for over a year, could re-open, where security permits. Another prayers adopted include that the Federal Government creates an agency akin to the Niger Delta Development Commission (NDDC) to help in rebuilding communities devastated by the insurgents. There were also commendations for the governors of Adamawa, Borno and Yobe states, the National Emergency Management Agency (NEMA), the Red Cross, individuals and charitable organisations for the interventions to the IDPs issue. South East Reps excluded in Reps’ appointments Okafor wondered why the zone is always made to suffer and left out when political considerations are made in the country. He recalled that in 2011, the region, under the PDP, was posted an average of a million votes per state, which largely turned the table in favour of former President Goodluck Jonathan, but that in the last election, the PDP managed less than half a million votes due to the efforts of the APC faithful in the region. Addressing newsmen at the National Assembly yesterday, the lawmaker noted that the APC in the region exhibited the highest level of courage, doggedness and fierce loyalty to the party. According to him, members risked their lives and it is worrisome that the party would now sideline them during appointments into leadership positions in the parliament. http://www.ngrguardiannews.com/2015/07/reps-urge-buhari-to-revisit-unresolved-murder-cases/ |
barcanista:You no go leave Buhari alone? We now know the source of your bias. You are among the few minority that campaigned against Buhari and lost woefully. We don't give a damn how you feel about our change. It took GEJ six years to goad Boko Haram into the monsters they are today and you expect somebody to curtail them in one day. Unlike GEJ Buhari has declared his assets. It was Jonathan’s denial that Chibok girls were abducted and his refusal to negotiate their release that doomed the prospect of their freedom and here you are. Jonathan’s apologist! You go tire. |

Ndigbo group writes Buhari, seeks probe of Anyim’s alleged fraudulent deals. A group, the Ohaneze Ndigbo Christian Youths In Diaspora (UK Chapter), has petitioned President Muhammadu Buhari urging him to probe the alleged fraudulent deals of former Secretary to the Government of the Federation, Anyim Pius Anyim. The group’s petition was signed by its President General, Bro Cosmas Elechi. It said among others that “President Muhammadu Buhari should look into the illegal acquisition of wealth of over 200 houses in Abuja, including the 4 Star Barcelona Hotel in the highbrow serene suburb of Wuse 2 by the former SGF all acquired while in Office in direct contravention of extant Civil service rules against the abuse of office and corrupt enrichment by Public Servants. “We refer Mr. President to the various allegations of fraud in the Office of the Secretary of the Federation when there are multiple instances of fraud and allegations of loss of N12 billion in 4 years namely: “We also refer Mr. President to the Niger Delta Development Commission where the commission lost over N70 billion in 4 years to the SGF’s office.” Even more, the group raised some posers in the petition allegedly linking the former SGF to the centenary city project and other deals. The group said it “would like Senator Anyim Pius Anyim to answer the following questions truthfully.:Does Anyim own any shares in Centenary City project? If yes, what was his consideration for procuring the shares? If yes, did he disclose his interest to the government? Non-disclosure is a criminal breach of office which he sworn to as a public servant. “Did the Board of Directors of NEPZA approve Centenary city as a free trade zone? “Is the Centenary city part of the Abuja master plan? “For the Centenary city to be a free trade zone, the C of O should be in the custody of the Federal Government, where is the C of O? “Is it lawful to use the C of O as collateral in a bank for a loan? “If the Centenary City is his personal asset (he should please disclose). The CBN and Finance Ministry are yet to trace any financial record of direct foreign investment into the Centenary City Project till date. “Why should Senator Anyim foist a residential estate in the Federal Capital territory on the Federal Government as a free Trade zone thereby depriving Nigeria of duly earned customs duty revenue and directly killing our local industries and divesting our youths of jobs?” The petition further claimed: “When Senator Anyim Pius Anyim, the former Secretary to the Government of the Federation in 2013 promised, on behalf of the Federal Government that the Centenary City project will be handed over to investors, people at the Investors Forum never knew he was handing over the project to himself. “This phantasm project covers an estimated 300,000 hectares of Abuja land (about two kilometers away from the Airport) which is in excess of $4 billion. The project is not a Public Private Enterprises as made to be believed by the former Secretary to the Government of the Federation, Senator Anyim Pius Anyim.” The petition also made further damning claims: “Centenary City is alleged to be a joint venture between the Federal Government and Eagle Hills to create the city of the future in Abuja but investigation shows that the Centenary City PLC project is owned by Company First Limited represented by Esther Onoji as a Director with 16 Emmanuel Onoti Crescent, Olokonla, Ajah, Lagos State as registered address and Basic Start Limited represented by Jennifer Onah as a Director with 49/51 Carter Street, Ebute Metta, Lagos as a registered address. “Basic Start Limited with Corporate Affairs Commission registration number 845727 was initiated registered on the 18th September, 2009 with 4th Floor, 009 Awolowo Road, Falomo, Ikoyi as registered address. Its initial capital was Ten Thousand divided into 5,000 shares respectively, owned by Mr. Paul Oki and 5,000 to Mrs. Boma Ozoba. The company’s share was later bought over by the aides of Senator Anyim Pius Anyim, the former Secretary to the Government of the Federation; Esther Onoji and Jennifer Onah in 2013 and share capital increased to 1 Billion shares for the purpose of defrauding the Federal Government in the Centenary City Projects. “The company, Centenary City PLC was registered with 17A Wumego Crescent, Off Christ Avenue, Lekki Phase 1, Lagos State as her address and had the under listed as Directors and there is no single share allocated to any of the Directors. The Directors includes Mr. George Marks (Julius Berger), Mr. Cletus Ibeto, Alhaji Abduslam Abubakar (Former Head of State), Mr. Olatunde Ayeni (A close associate of Dr Goodluck Ebele Jonathan), Mr. Hani Tanios Saliba, Emmanuel Ochela, Adetokunbo Kayode, Ugochukwu Anamelechi Nkwocha. “If Eagle Hills claimed that they have appointed Julius Berger Nigeria PLC as a key collaborator and developer of the multi-billion dollar city, why is the Director of Julius Berger, Mr. George Marks named a Director in the Centenary City PLC registration with CAC? “Esther Onoji and Jennifer Onah who work respectively for Senator Anyim Pius Anyim, the former Secretary to the Government of the Federation (have) 125,000,000 shares respectively. “Search at the Corporate Affairs Commission indicates that Centenary City PLC (owned by Company First Limited and Basic Start Limited) had registration number 1109159 but the date of incorporation cannot be ascertained since there is no Certificate of Incorporation in the file but was registered in 2013 from the documents available in the file at the Corporate Affairs Commission. “The Centenary City was not registered as a Free Trade Zone and there is no indication with the Corporate Affairs Commission that the Centenary city is free trade zone. Also, the Nigeria Export Processing Zones Authority [NEPZA] has confirmed that it did not receive any application from the Centenary City applying for Free Trade Zone; moreover, the Centenary City is not qualified as a Free Trade Zone.” According to the petitioners: “The scheme of declaring the Centenary City as a Free Trade Zone is to give waiver to the owner which has been robbing Nigerian Government of Revenue; running into trillion of Naira and industrial growth. No single dollar through Foreign Investment has been received from the Centenary City project since 2013, rather the owners; Esther Onoji and Jennifer Onah who work for Senator Anyim Pius Anyim, the former Secretary to the Government of the Federation has been using the Certificate of Occupancy as collateral to borrow money within the country. “Although a Board member of Eagle Hills, Mohamed Alabbar claimed that Julius Berger Nigeria PLC has been appointed as a key collaborator and developer of the multi-billion dollar city yet Julius Berger PLC has been using the assumed Free Trade Zone status to evade import duties for technicians, labour, machines, cement e.t.c. Nigeria has lost over 300,000 jobs through this fraudulent act! “The earlier the Federal Government under the leadership of President Muhammadu Buhari withdraw the purported Free Trade Zone status, cancel the Certificate of Occupancy and investigate the whole deal behind the Centenary City project; the better for the country. This will save the country economy over N100 trillion for the administration.” The group also averred in the petition: “It is trite to mention that at an auspicious reception organized in honour of Senator Pius Anyim, the former Secretary to the Federal Government by Ndi Igbo Community recently by eminent sons and daughters of Ibo land e.g. Chief Jim Nwobodo, Chief Festus Odimegwu etc. The Guest were surprised by the disparaging remarks the revered Guest of Honour Sen. Anyim Pius Anyim made about former President Goodluck Ebele Jonathan. “We would like to advice Sen. Anyim to please leave President Jonathan alone and not join issues with him over his untoward ambition to be the Nigerian President in 2019.” Apparently, the petition is a fallout of a media war between Dr. Cairo Ojougboh and alleged supporters of Anyim. The group, which fired a petition to Buhari, however, defended Ojougboh thus: “For the avoidance of doubt a brief history of Dr. C .Ojougboh is necessary. He is from Agbor in Ike South LGA in Delta North. He is a medical doctor by profession. He is also known as a man who speaks the truth courageously and says it fearlessly. “He has a reputation for being uncompromising with the truth. This is why Nigerians applauded him over his famous press conference on why PDP lost at the just concluded elections. “Dr. Cairo Ojougboh is not in possession of any property belonging to NEPZA or the Federal Government. He has since returned the project vehicle which he was given as the Chairman of NEPZA. “Dr. Cairo Ojougboh is not a political jobber, he stands by the Christian ethics of “if ye know the truth, the truth shall set you free. “Allegations that Dr. Cairo Ojougboh tried to kill Hon. Nduka Irabo are untrue and unfounded.” The Ndigbo Ohaneze however told Buhari in its petition that it “is aware of the animosity and the war between Sen. Pius Anyim and former Governors of Ebonyi State, Sam Egwu and also Governor Elechi because they refused to pay Senator Anyim ‘Protection Money.” The group also accused Anyim of plotting for 2019 presidency through unprintable ways. www.theeagleonline.com.ng |
