Instead of looking for a judge to blame direct your grievances to the Apc and Inec for not detecting the anomalies in the certificates of the candidate during their various screening process.

Do u know what expunged really means? The new electoral Act is still in controversy and the 2010 Act is still the guiding law on election matters in Nigeria as far as we know.
A court cannot expunge or correct laws enacted by the National Assembly only another Law made by the National Assembly to alter that particular law or repeal it makes it no longer a law.
What the court can only do is to declare that provision inconsistent but the law is the law.
What the provisions of that section 140 says is the emphasis on the word " on any grounds ". Read section 138 of the Electoral law then you will see the grounds for disqualification.
The provision of the Act did not mention preelection or post election, then if so the court has no jurisdiction or powers to either hear the appeal or even declare another candidate the winner.
You can only declare a person who lost the winner of an election where the disqualified candidate who was declared the winner did not score lawful majority of votes cast.
I hope u are now educated on this issue.

On Imo state.

1) no political party in Nigeria contests election without fraudulent practices. In the case of the last Imo state governorship election, all fingers were soaked with oil. The Supreme Court judges can't delve into which of the fingers had more oil than others.

2) there was no miscarriage of justice on policy and public opinion.

In IMO state it was a post election issue and the court only computed the votes that was alleged to be cancelled and the ones not added which gave the present governor a lawful margin to win and by the electoral act the court can declare him winner.

The supreme court does not hear appeal from its own decision rather a fresh application is brought for the supreme court to review its decision where there was a miscarriage of justice, public policy or opinion, judgement obtained by fraud. It is provided in section 294(5) of the constitution.
Now for the case of Bayelsa what the supreme court was supposed to order was a fresh election and not to declare the second winner as elected. That is the law by virtue of section 140(2) of the electoral act 2010 as amended.

The man is a desperate man

Its almost February for the PDP led Dickson government to wind down completely and no signs of the present outgoing government paying its Bayelsa State students bursary PR even any sign of approving the grant which was requested for since April 2019 by the committe of the students wing.

It is sad that the governor who is also a Lawyer has not one day visited the Law school a few minutes drive always from the government house or shown any sign of student friendlies since his inception to the office of the Governor.

Bayelsa State Students presently at the Nigerian Law school have called on the State government to help pay up their bursary.
Speaking through a statement by the Secretary,Nigerian Law School Students Wing, Ebitari O. Kingsley they urged the governor who is also a lawyer by profession to heed to their plight.

According to the statement,the bursary will serve as a boost for them as they prepare for their forthcoming Bar final exams on the first week of January 2020.

It further states that the payment of their bursary will also enable successful candidates buy their wig and gown, pay for transportation to Abuja,accommodation and other logistics.

The statement made reference to
states like Oyo that has paid even above the expected price while Kwara, Ekiti and Ondo have approved theirs,to pay before the end of the year.

It noted that with the outgoing government on the verge of winding down,the payment of their bursary which has become overdue, will be added to one of the good deeds of the restoration government which has always prioritized education among anything else.

Please what does it mean when a man tells his woman that he is not connected to her?

I was in courtship with this guy late 2017, we were working towards getting married. we broke up sometime in 2018. Since then, it's been difficult for me to love again. I really loved him and could go extreme for him.

He has tried going into other relationships same as me but non worked. So we decided to give us a shot once more, I was happy and felt whole again.....

He is very principled. Now he is saying that he doesn't feel that connection between us. He said I am everything, intelligent, smart, beautiful, hardworking, a graduate, Godfearing with good home upbringing, from a god background, tall infact taller than every girl he has come across but he just doesn't feel that connection between us. When it comes to qualities, I am better than every girl he has met. He went ahead to tell me of a girl who he felt that connection with but she broke his heart. I am shattered and devastated once more.

Its easy to say move on, but easier said than done. It took me months to move on, i was only able to by trying to hate him. One of the reasons why I really loved him was because he never tried taking advantage of me as I am a virgin.

He never for one day talked me into it unlike some other guys I have met.I have been so good to him, he confessed that no girl has loved and treated him like I did.
