Family / Re: I Hit My Husband By Mistake by evil1: 10:03pm On Dec 09, 2021
sthar:
My husband and I have not had the best relationship. The past two years has been really tough for us, we've had to struggle to make this marriage work. Although we have two kids, My husband talks down on me all the time.

He calls me an ordinary female, a useless creation and believes he owns me. He believes women should not have a freewill and are properties to their husbands. He calls himself my Alpha and omega. I sometimes wish he would hit Me rather than say all sorts to me.
Last week he started as usual. He called me names and Went on to talk about how he would teach me a lesson someday. I really don't know what came over me. I slapped him.

I s.wear it wasn't intentional, I didn't mean to hit him. I thought he would hit me back but he did not. It's been a whole week and he acts like nothing happened. He goes about playing with the kids , he greets me and makes sure we have food to eat too , but it is so unlike him.

My husband always reports to my parents. He tells them everything I do wrong and they always end up calling a meeting. But this time he's silent , he doesn't want sex too which Is so unlike him. I don't know what to do , I feel like he's planning to hurt me really big. I want to call my parents but everyone would blame me. How do I tell the world I slapped my husband?

Men have ego and superiority complex issues. He realized he made a mistake but wouldn't admit it.

Talk to him at night and settle before 12am, talk of the wrongs and rights, he's and your side battels and the problems and possible solutions also try to be romantic druing all these so it would end up in both of you making love. I assure you it will reignite the feelings and work things out.

If he doesn't forgive easily it would be a Little bit difficult or not the communicating type.

However try to do your best. Take the fault and let it slide so your mind can be at rest.

Depends on what you are buying for her or what she is using for the problem. I think from your narration it has gone deep into the skin.

It would definitely go away except it's a birth condition. In order to cure it permanently if it's not a birth condition, since I believe the root cause is deep down the skin so instead of trial and error stuff with creams and soaps, take her to a doctor who's knowledgebale about skin disease and not just some cream like funbact A or and the likes....

UBA girl that sees your account balance

I guess she just wants to be friends plus be your personal accountant now and in the future of all things in your life.

On the other angle, it might just be a harmless hangout trying to make friends so there should be no much feelings or hard thought on top of it.

Jayzel:
I've been dating my beautiful damsel for over 6 years now (2015), she has been financially supportive to me when things were so rough for me untill now things are a bit balance, since when our relationship kickoff we have never fought for once, we do argue most~times and later in the day we settle it inside our bedroom at night, she's so respectful and honest to both me and my family members.

There's a pretty damsel working in a UBA bank close to my residencial area here in Oniru Lekki, when I do return every~day from my working place I do branch at the bank to save some money in my account, the lady is my favourite cashier so I do give her the money and take my leave, so later in the day she will transfer the money into my account without no delay at all. But yesterday she called me on phone that she wanted us to hang out together (today being sunday) that all bills & expenses on her. I'm seriously confused now.

I still love my current girlfriend and i don't wanna hurt her feeling's, plz help out peers.

Anything Ex is a big "NO" for me.

blessingchinny:
That a relationship has come to end doesn't mean you should become an enemy to your ex. You can be friends.

But when you discover that the friendship is going out of boundary, try as much as possible to cut off.

Yes I say block him, if you can't control the feelings.
The truth is that you can't be friends with an ex when you are still hurting. You are only putting on flames of fire you may not be able to quench when the heat becomes intense.

So when is the proper time to reconnect with an ex as friends after a break up?

When you've moved on. ( making sure there are no more feelings attached).

When you are happily married or in a relationship with another. ( note the word) " happily. Not forcing yourself in a relationship to forget about him/ her. Once you've moved on, love will certainly find you naturally.

The issue is she's from calabar and I'm from anambra. I'm the only son of my parents. Iv not told my folks yet but they definately would prefer me to marry an igbo girl. Also guys, we have started talking marriage plans but now that she's pregnant can the church wed us? or should I just do Traditional and court then after the baby is born I do white wedding Time is ticking oo.

Aswear you just said my mind.
Justice Mary Odili is next in line bit she won't get to the CJN because she's due for retirement and except the Bill to extend their retirement passes through, she gets to stay even at that she won't get to be CJN because seniors the present CJN by age.

The only reason she will be CJN is if PDP comes onboard and removes Justice Tanko then she might as well be the CJN in 2024.

So the plot is to remove her before the next presidential and General elections. She's a torn in their flesh whether as potential CJN or not. As long as she's the next most senior and very influential plus her husbands role, forget it they will try so hard to pull her out.

Finally, remember the new Justices of the SC are all elevated from the CA immediately after their role at the previous election petition matters.

You can never compare real hustle money especially when you have a certificate to an illegal gotten money.

Let's say someone decides to empower you one day with a good job and you have maybe a safety training certificate or probably you joined the Nigerian Army as a recruit, you can't go far in career with such level of certificate or knowledge especially if you aim to reach superior levels.

In all, focus on your studies whether your parents are paying for you or not. And still, instead of doing Yahoo alongside, learn tech stuffs. By the time you are are done, you would build Saas products and earn more.

I wish someone advised me like this back then when I was in school

KingAzubuike:
In Nigeria, prostitution is a far better option than being jobless or being a house wife. Prostitutes are really trying, they collect all sizes of dick everyday yet get compensated with peanuts. Without them there would have been severe cases of rape and child molestation in Nigeria. They really deserve more than this and shouldn't be given societal stigmatization.

Our environment, economy, politiçal atmosphere and there's is way different. These ladies have aspirations, they add value, they have something better than sex to offer. Can you imagine the innovative ideas on that post, career path. Its nothing compared to a Nigerian prostitute.

An average Nigerian girl thinks of being or marrying a rich guy to house her problem. Only few of them think of elevating beyond prostitution.

Imagine a Nigerian girl who decides to leave Nigeria to US or Italy for greener pastures, but all what is on her mind is grabbing a white nigga to get papers, starting prostitution on a whole new level when she arrives there.

The whole idea of them and ours are way different.

Jobs/Vacancies / Re: Special Appeal To All Employers Of Labour And HR by evil1: 10:59pm On Oct 14, 2021
I like your observation and opinion. But for fairness, I think everybody no the matter age
Should be given a chance.

My only issue with employers is the unrealistic qualification requirements. Imagine looking for someone young but yet put an age limit and a 7 years working experience.
Like in my industry they even specify that you must have 3-5 years post call plus must have worked in a big known commercial firm. In addition they top it up with for e.g must hsve worked 3 years in banking sector, 4 years in commercial practice. Like seriously who does that ?
Its annoying.

kingthreat:
This is my special appeal to those who are employers of labour, and human resource officers in charge of recruiting staff in companies.
Please give more employment priority to men of 28 years and older especially the married men.

After that, you can now give preference to single mothers, married females, the younger men and women.

I am saying this because as we speak, families are breaking up. Many men that are dependent on salary income have lost their roles in families.

They cannot foot the bills of providing food, paying rent, fees, etc and their families are being shattered.
I got a call last night from a relative who has been unemployed since the covid19 but his lucky wife whose job was not affected is presently keeping late nights, starving him of sex and he cannot say nada because she is the one taking care of 80% of the bills.

Or is it my senior in secondary school presently in his 40s whose wife left him with their 2 daughters and is flirting with big boys in Abuja who gave her apartment and takes care of her bills?

Mind you, these men are not lazy. If given work, they are ready to put in 120% of time to feed their families but the employment system is frustrating them. They cannot keep submitting CVs to companies giving more priorities to women and the younger folk.

Save a family today.
Career / Re: I Want To Quit My Teaching Job: Advice Needed by evil1: 3:09pm On Oct 14, 2021
If everyone rejects teaching job, I bet you that you won't see someone to teach your kids or even teach you that programming skills you are learning via YouTube. Teaching someone programming is one of the hardest not to even mention blogging via a drag and drop builder.

Teaching isn't a bad thing, its just the pay and I tell you that even people who studied professional courses with the mindset that they would see a good paying job on completion, end up in the same dilemma.

For example, people see doctors as rich or persons that are well to do. My dear until you enter the real life practice then you will know as it is now in Nigeria and the world, its Survival we all are fighting for. Only people that work for government agencies and parastatals are sure of a stable income and secured job.

One of those reasons I look forward to building my own company from scratch and investing is the idea if not working for someone and the day I out perform or even become unproductive, I will be laid off at the slightest opportunity.

I'm not good at tech, but I have improved over the days at a very snail speed. If not for my gf, I even forgot I had a personal skill.

Finally, Tech takes time and patience. You have to learn, unlearn, build and sell to the right market.

Spark2:
Hi guys,
I trust this meets you well?
I am 25 years old, I'd soon be 26.
I'm a graduate, I served in Kano and stayed back after service doing a teaching job. I am paid 35, 000 naira per month. The 35k finishes on transportation and feeding even before the month ends.

I started learning a skill in tech about a year and half ago, I've gained some confidence already in web development, I can call my self a Front-End Developer now with some knowledge of back end development... I have made up my mind to keep learning everyday. I have a dream of going fully into tech and at this point in my life, I need a job that will offer me the opportunity to learn what I'm personally interested in. I want to work in a team that will help me to grow, not a teaching job where I am overworked and get home tired everyday and have little time to code.

After sitting and considering all these, I made up my mind to resign my teaching Job by the end of December. I'm going back to my hometown (a state in the North central) where I hope to go down to Abuja in search of a better life or better still if I get one in my state.

The thing is that I'd need to take this bold step now while I'm still a bachelor before I get married and unable to.

I understand that it is a hard decision to take, but if I let fear hold me down here, Many years will pass and I will be here held by fear. A colleague shared his story with me, that he was afraid of leaving and for him, it's 11 years now teaching and he is still struggling. He's married and it's now difficult to take any step as such.

I need advice, if possible share your experiences so that I will learn.

Thank you very much

She left with the girl which is six months old and a boy two years and left three boys for me.

Please I need your advice, should I go and beg her or I should forget about her and continue with my life. According to my family members, they said I should forget about her because of the manner she left.

I wouldn't believe this your story. Its incomplete.

What issues led to her moving out ?
Previous quarrels or issues ?
Have you ever left them to be in hunger ?
What's ur side of the story and her own side ?
There are lots of why and when and how questions yet to be answered?

One last thing, settle with her don't bring your family or hers or social media advice into it. You both should have a consensus. I tell you its the best solution.

Not all companies or firms you apply to.
Some it's through the email heading I get go know the company if it wasn't stated on the mail.
Some actually give a call or a day notice to my interview. My last two was fixed on a Friday and Saturday. For the Friday interview, they called that very Friday morning me and another one gave me an early invite about 4 days early invite.

As long as you stay within their reach they believe they could call you at any time to show up.

Employers in Nigeria currently feel they are the ones doing you a favour whereas you are the one working your ass off and driving the revenue to the business.

I don't subscribe to divorce except on grounds of extreme adultery or irreconcilliable differences beyond control. However, if your case doesn't fall into these, sit your husband down and you guys should discuss.

I'm not married but I have learnt a lot from people and marriages like yours.
Being with one partner is not a joke and it takes the grace of God to put a house together.

My grand parents have being maried for over 50years. They built together, travelled together, went places together whether business meeting or of any kind.

My advice is you should talk with your husband and you guys should explore in both intimacy and stuffs like family vacation and hanging out, it will help rebuild the love and create memories.
Zuchey91:
I need matured inputs please.

I am a married woman, with a child.

My Marriage has been really rocky. Quarrels every now and then.

What basically causes the problems is our differences, we just don’t understand each other, it wasn’t so visible during dating.

Although we did not date for long....but being married, it has been from one issue to the other, right from a week after our wedding.

I have always contemplated leaving, but I am yet to be fully independent.

Sometime this year, I found out he has been cheating (I was not surprised, but I was heart-broken) my discovery strengthened my resolve to leave the union.

In the process of nursing my heartbreak, I reconnected with an ex, we got talking and he helped my heal. I did not tell him what I was going through at the time...I was just enjoying the attention he was showing me.

I should state that I did not tell my husband about his cheating, I held all the emotions back, it was a very difficult period for me because I am usually the outspoken type.

My ex is not based in the country where me and my husband reside, we just communicate on phone, he says he misses me and would want us to meet when he is in town.

I should also state that my ex was married but divorced.

I would not deny my having feelings for my ex, and I also do not want to believe in a fairytale ending, I am just confused.
