So let's cut to the chase here ; To go back or not?? Definately

Complicated but this is very simple IMO... One thing I've learnt overtime in marriage is to never fight your parents' fight? This is not her fight.
Her mom has made her stance clear about domestic violence and he's definately a rude & wounded snake with big ego, let him continue though. The mom knows this and they ( mom & him) are both playing silent mind games.

But this shouldn't come between the couple. So to answer your q; NO, I wouldn't leave my matrimonial home for such trivial issue coz this is between two cognitive grown adults.
For all we know, they could be having serious heated convo behind curtains. Hehe , you go fear some no-nonsense parents. cool

Tell your friend to go back home and bring the kids to their dad. Her mom will understand.

Why did you leave this out in your initial post.. Some Women sha undecided see as I don roast the man on top nothing na.

Regardless of who the company is, wearing boxers ( tight or loose) whenever you have company sounds ridiculous and uncultured. Boxers short is an underwear period. Well since he's failed to realize what's right from wrong, get him some loose Baggy shorts he can wear around the house. no worries.

Hmmm my dear, similar case cause katakata between hubby and I... My man thinks since my parents are well to do and comfortable, they don't need stuff from him atall. undecided He's so scared or should I say paranoid that my parents may see his presents as inferior or small but that's not the case here. Parents ( in-laws) appreciate being acknowledged by their son inlaw especially. It's not that they're starved or needy, it's sends a special message to them that they're not/will never be forgotten.
Ofcourse I'm more than capable to care for my parents . and trust me they know who gives what( esp when you are very close to your parent(s) )

1.Occasional phone calls (birthdays, mother&Father's day,) and not only when there's loss in the family.
2. Christmas / Salah gifts ( even if they don't celebrate as long as someone in the family celebrates this then they must be included too)

You think these are small stuff?.... Try it and see for yourselves.

The times are changing, so well, keep up or shut up.

I can't believe that some men are complaining about spending either cheesy

The woman of days long gone used to be submissive, docile etc because the man of that time took care of his responsibilities, so there was really no need for her to be bitchy or whatever. Some men today just whine & whine about the same things that their forefathers did without much coaxing. Who can not be bitchy to a bytch grin?

Women have taken more responsibility with the years eg.building careers of their own etc, while some of the men have become poor, pathetic nags who groan & moan about every single thing that the gentleman of the past would have done without the extra lip service given by some "men" today.

So deal. Or go find a boyfriend tongue

Was never hit through my growing years. Im very very certain I would be dead if I was. I always cover my face, shivering and covered in hot sweat when they flog my classmates in school. I believe orphans(no mother and father) can easily fall into d hand of wrong woman expecially no mother around him to guide him, I maybe wrong. Did u share dsame opinion with me?
OP yes... Every man desires their parents input when selecting a partner .. even though when his mind is already made up. It's just a formality.

So in an orphans case.. Siblings, Aunts&uncles, great-aunts/uncles and grandparents.

Family › Re: What Causes Tension Between Wives And Mother-in-laws? by Ewuro4: 6:41am On Mar 09, 2015
Women are their own worst enemies. Simples.

An older woman is expected to nurture and care for her son's wife like her own daughter. A younger lady is expected to accord same respect as her parents to her mother in-law.

I wonder what and where the competition is between two and entirely different age group? grin oshisko
Family › Re: How Often Did Husband And Wife Quarrel? by Ewuro4:
Saao:
Hi everyone

1.Quarrelling in marriage is it the sign that the duo are not compartible?
2.How often did husband and wife should quarrel that is permissible?
3.Finally how did u handle it? I need mature answer and expecially from married people.
1.No... Nobody's perfect buddy. A marriage without quarrel is almost impossible. Although I'm talking healthy quarrel (e.g arguments, which I'm not a big fan of coz it's always end up in resentment, cruel words are said and cannot be taken back) not domestic violence kind oh.

2. I wouldn't proffer a dose of quarell per month/year. Infact I'd say avoid it if possible and rather have the Talk .
But. Couples need to realize that constant fight chips off the affection between you two, constant fights and argument is not healthy atall. And if you must fight, please do it with common sense and be rational about other persons feelings.

3.over the years, I've learnt to stay calm and collected, listen to music, take a dip in swimming pool or run/jog around the block to blow off some steam to clear my head. I realized and learnt how it calms the tension btw both of us and our kids are safe and protected from drama. I really don't like the picture of kids watching parents argue, it's not healthy for their overall wellbeing.

Good Topic Saao, I hope young/intended couples can learn from this.
