We are trying oh my dear, it's just very hard to achieve but with time. Chineese folks are able to pull that off because of their family structure (husband is always the breadwinner) while moms are homemakers and always home during formative years. just grateful we named them traditional names for starters. We put the "No English language" sign on the kitchen wall now. It's been unusually quite lately

The truth is that where they live will rub off on them and there is not much you can do about that.
The only thing you can do is to take them to Nigeria regularly so that they remain in touch with their roots & understand that there is another life apart from the one they are used to.
You will be surprised that they may never even ask you the questions because they wont even notice the difference.
My kids never asked why they were different and when they were old enough to understand, I guess they just put 2 and 2 together.
Kids have a way of mixing and adapting to their enviroment unlike adults.
I wouldnt worry too much.
