God bless the writer for such a wonderful piece. I strongly disagree the fact that parents are solely responsible for the intellectual prowess and reading habits of their children, though they contribute to the cold feet in the reading trend but government shares the larger blame. Nigeria government have not shown the youths the need to read, undergraduates these days are even seen as fools by the illiterates populace, the system is so corrupt that even the dullards occupy intellectual positions. I grew up under a mother that's not lettered & so lacks the motivating spirit but because i have a hope of being employed after schooling, reading became my priority even at her objections at times. Am waiting for my NYSC right now , if you come to the sec. sch. where i teach, which is one of the best in my area, you will weep for Nigeria. |
LEGITLAYO:During Goodluck administration "Jonathan should do something, he is clueless" During Buhari's administration "we need God's intervention " lie lie Buhari must do something. |
kenedy175:If you want to hide something from a black man put it in writing. I don't mean insult cos is a popular quote. |
Clothes for fashion parade is inside because that's the next level after 60 days honey moon. I don't want to regret voting for Buhari |
cole265:That's the more reason the Igbos want to actualize BIAFRA , must we be one country Please? |
With the way our presido is going (60 days in office without achieving anything and finally termed honeymoon period by APC leader, Tinubu. ) he should also expect tongue lash ing from these radical priest, the guy no send anybody at all, and praising him won't stop him. |
kevolysis12:I heard the man is facing a 300 million naira fraud charge, how real is the information? if That's the only thing EFCC will achieve under Buhari's administration I will ever be grateful. |
I have been waiting for the day our president will comment on this radio biafra issue, here comes the day. I am forced to sit on the fence now, though i love Nigeria if time is not taken the rising sun may surface. please becareful the people's general (Buhari ) I contributed my little quota to your emergence. GOD BLESS APC. |
A step to stop other manufactures.(especially from south east ), give the license to Dangote and make him richer at our detriment. I don't want to believe i wasted my time in the sun in a bid to vote for CHANGE. still waiting. |
When you read Edet lives in calabar, Agbo lives in the lagoon, Mr Salami etc and wish you were part of the picture or can be found alongside Edet jumping up. I really love this thread, Thanks you for taking us down the memory lane, Everything seems to have changed negatively, At times i wonder if the best Nigeria i will ever see is today, tomorrow maybe worse. |

5minsmadness:I studied pure and applied chemistry not linguistic or English. Tanks if you're correct with " If the condition was worth it." LOL. |
Yomieluv:And the demand was for her to commit incest. How sure are we they committed the act just once that led to a pregnancy. |
This is a story of why a woman had sex with her son.Read it and comment if the condition worth it. After my first Son was born over 25 years ago, we stopped having other issues. My husband and I had visited several prayer houses around the country. We have even being to Synagogue Church of All Nations, to see TB Joshua, but we couldn’t see him in person. Different Pastors have prayed for us, and we truthfully exhibited high level of patience, waiting for God’s response. I had met pastors and I had met PASTORS. 40 percent of the pastors we met had made advances at me, even at my age. I realized that most of these Pastors are truly not who they claim they are. ‘’See finish’’ is what I think was my experience in their hands. I do not need to talk too much about the anointed ones, but the warning is that we all have to be careful while dealing with majority of them. After several rough dealings with Pastors and men of God, with little or no results, we tried different health experts and hospitals. Results remained negative. It was getting to a frustrating level when a colleague from Cross River volunteered to take me to a man she simply referred to as ‘baba’. Being a strong believer, my husband was against the decision to travel to Ogoja to meet the man; out of desperation, I waved off his objection and we headed to Ogoja on a Monday morning. That was when everything became bitter. Baba, on presenting everything he asked us to bring, told me that my problem rooted back to my mum, who had sex with my step brother shortly after I was born. The only solution he proffered was that I ‘sleep’ with my only Son to wade off the spirit of my step brother whom he claimed died shortly after mum’s death. According to him, the spirits were still angry that mum committed such an atrocity, hence I must atone their sins. It was believable to me because mum is no more and I heard I also lost my step brother at a time. I returned home and kept this a top secret. I didn’t tell my husband the real problem. It’s difficult to explain how I managed to convince my son to have knowledge of me, but it happened. Truly, I became pregnant after then and I’m about to put to bed. I’m just afraid something bad may happen to me. As for my Son, he hates me at the moment. Even in my present state, my husband and I are always at loggerheads. It tells me that something is wrong. I always have nightmares; most times, two men chasing me with a knife. I can’t connect my pregnancy, the dream and my act. Please, DAILY POST, I need you to get public responses and advice for me on this? |
Phinity318:The blood you spelt has more letters, same thing with Jesus so shouldn't be seen as abbreviation, what has come over you and your cohorts? this is blasphemy so don't be stupid |

CaptainAmerica1:The only leader that commands the respect of Igbos is the late Ikemba of Nnewi in the person of Odimegwu Ojukwu, outside that Igbos have no king. we even say it in our dialect "Igbo enweghi eze ". If the story is real, GEJ went and bribed your Obas because he knows they can easily talk you people over to vote against your wish not here in igbo land. and point of correction, not all Igbos will vote for GEJ because he did nothing for us, how many of the amajiri schools, roads, and universities did he build in igbo land, the 2nd niger bridge and international airport he promised us was a sham, federal universities in southeast pay more than any other zones, we're more disappointed than you guys and he knows non of our kings can deceive us when their pockets have been filled with dollars. |
ruffhandu:no living creature can deny that fact. T.A Orji, Chinedu Orji (the son), Okezie Ikpeazu(the anointed candidate) are just nothing but imposters in abia, even the worst slowpoke knows that. |
plainol:Yes president Jonathan is either the devil and General Buhari the deep blue sea or vice versa. |
pekeyim:And you seem to love an old story, don't brace up for reality on ground. OLODO. |
This will in no way increase the standard of education, different bodies in nigeria now have the notion that if you stay for a long time without making a policy you look worthless and stagnant. I think this is the driving force behind this policy not to better our education. I don't support poor grades but prefer it to exam malpractice, selling of your body to lecturers, and sorting of courses to get good grades, believe it or leave it, most honest students come out with poor grades while their counterparts are enjoying what i call negative success. If NUC have no good idea to throw to the table, they should fold their hands and think with their brains besides how many of their children are in Nigeria universities. |
Mynd44:you're right sha but i think all guys should look at the numerous disadvantages and quit the relationship before it becomes too late. |
1. Trust: This is one of the reasons why there are so many failed marriages. your marriage failed not when you are legally divorced but immediately you lose trust on your partner. Knowing your wife was your friends ex creates the impression she can also date any of your friends even in marriage (though may Neva happen) 2. Cheap: It is better to know your girl was a LovePeddler to unknown men than to know she has been bleeped by your friend, it makes her looks so cheap and now a real LovePeddler. 3. Insecurity: You feel insecure anytime your friend comes around. any body movement, laugh, eye contact with your girl means something to you, then think of what happens when you're married. 4. Adultery: According to the holy Bible when you look at a woman lustfully, you have already committed adultery with her, you might think to get back at him by fucking his wife or girl to balance the equation. (despite the fact is not his fault) 5. Competition: Some girls are so stupid that they will always make comparison (vocal and thought ) things like who spends more money, makes love better etc and no real man is ready for such competition with a friend. my post is open to criticism and suggestions but constructive ones oooo. |
apcmustwin:your question is just like asking if somebody is qualified to farm in his father's land. Maybe is the hausa's that were denied the natural resources by nature that are qualified to work in an oil company. |
No matter how you see it (partisan or sentimental ) this list is not far from the truth, we are not after under which party the respective governors carried out these projects. For Abia state governor T.A Orji is the more reason why I won't vote for Goodluck Jonathan, because Mr. President has the effrontery to give this wicked and visionless governor a honorary award CON and also the best governor in south east because he is a party member. Though am not from abia but I school and live here, I just feel like crying right now. |
Abia, Abia, Abia, Abia, I won't even be happy if they put him as the worst governor in nigeria, he deserves something worse than that. the problem is that this man is going for Senate and the son for abia house of assembly, I just feel like crying because nothing and nobody can stop them. |
obongproff:Yea damn boring, the bad girls have got alot of experience while their holes are being dug by different guys . honestly I don't have a long and fat dick to satisfy such class of people. sorry if I sound raw but I prefer the good girls, no be man dey suffer babe dey chew gum. |
Mondisweets:Am yet to reach 30 talk of your 40 years brouhaha, young graduate waiting for my NYSC so I have no frustration to take to my faithful God. you might not mean insult but lack manner of approach, save your advice to people of your kind. |
krall:see your mouth "I did something " what is something? why can't there be trust an and faithfulness in your relationship? you get luck that it wasn't your mum that just finished taking her bath and maybe facing backwards, your babe go just knack am stick before she will now discover is your mum. |
