iretiland:There is no amount of false theories from you and your associates that will ever make the world to see NOI as a fraud because her track records are there for rational beings to analyze and reach a conclusion. You have continued to go on an opposite direction with the rest of the world, considering yourself a figure with brain. Today, a mediocre occupies the seat of the Ministry of Finance, but because of your irrational mind, you can't dictate it, even when the scars of the effects are all over your comment. You had better stay away from topics of this nature, so as to hide your ignorance. |
SR, your end is gradually coming, just a matter of time. |
Tiwa, you have the blame for allowing third party in between you. You accepted the advice of those who couldn't succeed in the journey of life. One doesn't give what one doesn't have. The day you condescended to the pressure of sacking Tee Billz as your manager was the day you technically took the war path without knowing it. Although, it's not late. You can still amend your way. Don't join that association of single mothers! |
Military institution indeed! No departmental examination; all students in different departments offering the same course write the same question on the same day at the same time. Each course is offered once in a year and when one misses the exam one comes the following year for the carryover. I respect your standard! |
I know lie flows in your vein. Meanwhile, where are the names of those you accused of stealing? Do you still think that people will take you serious when you make statements without proof? |
Seun, Why do you find it worthy and satisfactory, lending a helping hand to the publication of defamatory articles meant to demean, relegate, denigrate, embarrass and portray in bad light, the reputation of the previous government? For over a period of time now, I've observed with kin interest your attitude towards the publication of certain national issues that affect everyone within and outside the shores of Nigeria. I've also noticed your unwavering support including but not limited to presentation in good light some selected politicians and the present government. It's become a habit in the way certain issues affecting sections of the country are being repressed in publication including Nairaland. I know it will not shock you if I say that your bias attitude towards publication of issues affecting other sections of Nigeria is well documented. A word is a enough for the wise. But remember, pride goes before destruction. Thanks |
Tokety7:Which brain are you talking about here? If Federal Government had saved while states refused, what difference would it have made in the states? Salaries wouldn't have been owed or what? Why did FG approve a bailout for the states? Why didn't the states save to show that FG was indeed wasteful? Comment is not by force, if you have nothing good to say, just keep quiet. |
I must not fail to commend you, op, for this great article. It makes me believe that not everyone can be pushed around like an inanimate object. Until the truth is told and upheld, freedom, growth and development of Nigeria will remain a mirage. Those benefitting from the faulty structures of Nigeria and are hell bent to defend them with their last drops of blood will find this article offensive, irresponsible, shameful and embarrassing without any superior argument. No matter how hard we try, a history made will never be rewritten. |
ronald4lif:Protruding stomach of men is developed at the later stage of life and no man has been divorced on the grounds of his stomach. Women are pressurized to married earlier than men because of their nature. Most times, they set a high standard which they themselves cannot attain. At the long run, it results to a pressure. As for me, op is right. |
Goke7:No matter how much you try to make black white, it's still black. |
It's good to note that all apc stalwarts did in a desperate move to take over power, are still very afresh in the minds of the masses crying for justice. Nobody, not even Buhari can escape from the law of karma. |
The 2015 financial results of the five banks released in March this year showed that the profit before tax tumbled by 69 per cent to N77.65bn from N131.19bn in 2014. Similarly, the combined profit after tax of the five banks fell from N107.279bn in 2014 to N59.73bn in 2015, indicating a decline of 79.59 per cent. http://www.punchng.com/economic-crisis-five-banks-profit-drop-by-n54bn/[/quote]Punch, a brow envelope media house, known for its colouration of stories and penchant for misrepresentation of facts through exaggeration, is at it again. How on earth would those figures, posted above, result to a decline of 79.59%? Did all the staff of punch newspapers fail in mathematics? For the young minds, who will quote the news without further analysis to confirm its correctness, below table will be helpful: DETAIL 2015 2014 DIFF % PBT 77.65 131.19 -53.54 40.81 PAT 59.73 107.279 -47.549 44.32 where % is (diff/2014) |
I see this punch newspaper going down with apc due to its media sensation and brown envelope style of reporting. |
bloodyBLOGGER:There was fuel scarcity then, but you should have searched for the reason behind it, for the analysis to be properly done. There were a lot of unguarded statements about the fuel subsidy By PMB while waiting to take over the government. The marketers felt that he would not pay them their subsidy hence the hoarding of fuel reigned. At the peak of the scarcity, when there was reasonable assurance, Capital oil announced the release of 70m litres of pms into the economy and others followed suit. Now you know that Buhari and APC have been the reason behind fuel scarcity in the recent time. This of course has left Nigerian economy worse than they met it, but they will give account of Nigeria some time soon. |
enlightenedmind:In case you don't know, Nigerian is not the most corrupt country in the world like you erroneously posited in your comment. It may interest you to know that Nigerians are known to be hard working people round the globe and so can't be blamed for the state of Nigerian economy. Leadership has been the problem of Nigeria of which Buhari and his APC corrupt associates now turned saints are part of and so invalidates the theory of PDP being responsible for economic woos of Nigeria. |
enlightenedmind:You don't just sit on the chair of your comfort zone and type trash from your freckle mind. Nigeria's economy has taken the path of recession due to poor economic policy and lack of knowledge. Yet, you continue to support a government that has lost control of the economy as declared by lie lie Muhammed. Comment is not by force. |
This Adesina guy seems to be running out of ideas as his public speeches these days connote lack of knowledge and stupidity. Is he not the presidential spokesperson? Why directing curious minds to the president while he is paid for the job? I feel an epitome of rash, uncomfortable posture and bitterness in his speeches, undoubtedly due to verbal attacks directed at the presidency for non performance since the inception of this administration. I see him sweating maybe because he's not getting the cooporation he thought he would get from the public when he picked up the job. Mr, wake up, for you are in for a long thing. No amount of rash will save you from public lampoon. |
SambisaaForest:Currently, ghana uses ghana cedi and not cedi with the value of cedi. A lot of people don't know about this of which you are trying to hide. ghana cedi is a compressed form of old currency in a new currency. Nothing changed and life has become more unbearable for the poor suffering ghanaians. |
SambisaaForest:Those people in prison in ghana are not there for the offenses committed, but gang up and hatred an average ghanaian and her government amassed for Nigerians. This of course has been counter productive as tales of economic woos are written on every part of ghana, including the faces of her hungry citizens. |
ikp120:I dislike posting comments that denigrate the reputation of the person being quoted. But you have succeeded in forcing me to post a comment that is contrary to the stand. 1. Ghana got her independent before Nigeria. This has not made Ghana better than Nigeria economically, socially and so on. 2. You have just displayed your ignorance because Naira is far stronger and will remain stronger than cedi for many years to come. 1gh cedi = c10000 which is equivalent to N100. So don't get deceived by re-denomination of cedi. 3. This is exactly what you have heard from people which is not true because there are power cuts often times. It's only in Osu that has steady supply of which its residents are complaining the exorbitant rate charged Ecg. 4. There is no publicity of crime in Ghana as it's in Nigeria. 5. This is because of brown envelope journalism sponsored by enemies of Nigeria. Nigeria is still the giant in Africa no matter what. |
As for me, there is no misinterpretation, as Nigeria is a member of AU like any other African country. The statement credited to the Ghanaian president refers to AU members and doesn't exclude Nigeria in any form. Therefore claiming misinterpretation rather than misstatement is simply an attempt to cover up and refusal to accept the ambiguity that characterized the statement. Although, such gesture will not fly with Nigeria as it will create more problems for Ghanaian economy than it tends to solve. |
The truth must be said regardless of the camp one has pitched one's tent. Aribisala's speech, indeed deserves more than a thunderous ovation because of his foolhardy posture which he exhibited while hitting the nail on the head. He is not compromised nor a political jobber yet. He was able to convince the students hence the ovation. Attacks from the people who suppose to lead the way has further entrenched his points in the mind of the students and public who do not take anything for truth. Aribisala, please keep it up. |
This doesn't look like a responsible government. |
I'm not surprised because like the saying goes, "what an elder can see on the ground cannot be seen by a teenager on top of a mountain. So we warned but none heeded. |
Yes, history has shown that a man who cannot afford two square meals a day has no business getting a big stomach. It's developed in an advanced stage of life where one has settled down and begun to feed well. It's just natural and there is nothing anyone can do about it. Remember, a hungry man will never ever grow a pot belly! |
Altering the manifesto of apc regarding its campaign promises will be a suicide mission. This will further affirm the deception it employed during electoral campaigns in its desperation to grab power. Today, it's an open secret that apc lied to Nigerians and will face the music at an appropriate time. |
Not surprised at all because more wild lies are coming. APC can't do without lie as it's formed on the basis of lies. |
Nature has a way of paying people back for their actions. As for El Rufai, he will get a thousand folds of his Internet rants and insults meted on others. |
Op, your ranting won't change the fact that marriage in Nigeria and beyond makes those involve responsible. There is no amount of success you will attain in the society without contributing to reproduction and impacting of moral principles for the sustainability of the society that will make the society judge you successful. So, if you are not married, you had better do it now before it's late. |
Charlo Sky! Hmm, happy to hear that Jesus now speaks to you, congratulations. But pardon my curiosity, did He speak to you in tongue or plain and in what language? Were you relaxing in your coffin then or on bed? |
I do not expect Buhari to do better than he is doing now. He doesn't know any of the basic economic indices in a fast age where such information is sine qua non to improvement on standard of living, economic growth and development. This is just the beginning. |
gbrown:Your comment here has said it all about your person. The greatest wickedness man can do to himself is to tell himself a lie. CBN has said recently that school fees and foreign medical bills are not restricted from fx market and yet you come online to display your ignorance shamelessly. Today, $1=N380, in an economy that solely depends on importation of basic household commodities, thereby worsening already battered standard of living of the poor masses. No budget in the history of Nigeria has been as fraudulent as that of 2016, and yet you chant praises for Buhari and APC government. Since you are deaf, dumb and blind, you will feel the heat before the end of this year. |
such inferiority complex
