An opportunity for a new beginning has just thrown itself up. Its wise usage will be of immense benefit to all as strife among zones over positions will be curtailed.

There is no other tribe in the history of Nigeria that practices tribalism better than the Yoruba. At this juncture, it's pertinent to tell this immature boy (Joe Igbokwe) in an adult nature, that spending his life time in Lagos does not make him an indigenous of the state no matter how hard he tries to impress his pay master. His day of regrets is imminent.

All you listed here do not still make women slaves. The food in question is eaten by both and sex enjoyed by both, so why this feeling of slavery.

The problem with bringing God into this is we are trying to run a society on laws so it is either we make our own laws or we use God's laws and run a theocracy.
If my Senator is a woman should her vote count as much as that of men? No one is seeking to make laws governing the operation of families or the home but PUBLIC LIFE. Should women be allowed to become Judges Senators etc. Should women have the same work opportunities with men who have the same qualifications and so on .That is what this is about not who washes plates of cooks food in the home

Women are not denied any opportunity whatover, in fact, they are given concession in every aspect of their lives.
Today is APC governorship primary election in Edo State where women contestants were asked to obtain the form free. This is an example of a million and one concessions women enjoy and yet some are shouting gender equality.

But, how on earth will Nigerians impose economic illiterates on themselves and charge them with responsibility of managing a number three world growing economy and still expect the economy to rank as one of the top performing economies?

It seems the worst is yet to happen.

A very smart thing you've done, by coming out to dispel the allegation and set the records straight. With this, those who don't allow fair hearing before passing judgment and believe that silence means lack of knowledge and acceptance, will have a rethink before they embark on frivolous rejoicing. In a sane society, such news doesn't suppose to call for celebration but for sober reflection. But since it's perceived to affect a section of Nigeria, it's a welcome development. Is this how the forced marriage will succeed?

I have been waiting since yesterday to read your reaction to this removal of fuel subsidy. It's actually important to hear your view because of the part you played in 2012 when a similar decision was taken by the GEJ's government. The circumstances during Jonathan/PDP and now under Buhari/APC are not the same:
Jonathan had surplus earnings from crude (at over $150/barrel) to spend on subsidy when he was presiding over his corrupt wasteful govt; while Buhari/APC is only having about 1/4 of such earnings from crude (at about $40/barrel) and clearly do not enjoy the same luxury Jonathan had - there is therefore no cause for APC to apologize because they cannot be blamed for the fall in current crude price and therefore the attendant fall in revenue that could have otherwise sustained such subsidy - rather, the govt should be commended instead for taking this bold step.

If price of Crude oil in the market today is $40, what reason is cogent enough to be cited as the basis for the upward review? What goes around comes around. Get your rocket launcher ready, for the protests will have no measures. Ewu
