There are vices everywhere, be it boarding or day. Day students visit each other at home and still do stuff, particularly when no adult is around, there are school toilets where all manner of rubbish happen during breaktime and social activities. I've been following your argument and I usually smile when I see people like you. You'll receive a rude shock when you get to heaven, I tell you for God is not man. You don't know what went down between DMX and God, so you really shouldn't judge the former's life. I don't go and visit family friends without buying even if it's hundred naira oranges, let alone my in laws. But that's me naturally. I don't like visiting people empty handed. I'd rather stay at home if I have nothing to give. But my husband is different. He believes it will give people entitlement mentality. So he alternates when he goes visiting with gifts and tells me I worry too much about pleasing people. I have had to learn the hard way because there's a family friend who expects me to bring gifts anytime I'm coming. When I don't, she beefs about it and has even extended the entitlement mentality to everyone because of me. Before hubby and I got married, I once apologised to my mother in law for not sending her money and she asked me if I was trying to bribe her.

Different strokes for different folks. My parents would be more concerned about making my husband comfortable whenever he visits than looking at his hands to see what he brought or didn't bring for them. I guess it's different upbringing. The op should have put it jokingly to the guy to get why he didn't come with anything. Good to know they settled their differences though.

My regimen is simple. I used to go to the gym a lot but work and bad eating habits(I can eat by 11pm, I once woke up to eat by 2am for fuqs sakes ) made me relapse on the tummy area. I decided that shiit must end. Nowadays, I NEVER eat anything after 8pm. I eat more proteins than carbos and I get some fruits too. I just drink water after 8pm. I dont eat till after 9am in the morning too. It took me time to adjust to the schedule but I kept at it and I resumed GYM work. Now, this mudafvcker be looking yummy these days.

The key is eating right and early then combine it with exercises. But nowhere on earth would that give you noticeable results in 12 days. 2 months and above sound good though.

I didn't discard all that just to get slim. I had health issues and had being on drugs for years. So the doctor prescribed a one week detox for me to clean my internal organs. For that one week, I took only natural juices mixed with essential oils and ate fruits only once a day. I continously used the loo throughout the one week and I threw up once. I felt healthy after the procedure even though I lost only 2kg. But by the time I kept strictly to the diet I was given for three weeks, I lost a lot of weight. Slowly other food groups will be introduced to the diet but in small portions. I don't eat later than 6pm. And I drink lots of water.

I have battled with weight loss all my life. I have taken them all. Starved until I got ulcer. But last month I went for one week detox program for health reasons and that kick started my awesome weight loss journey. Truly, the only way to lose weight in a healthy way is through diet and exercise.

I was placed on a strict diet with no Maggi, salt, oil, meat, fish eggs and the likes. All I eat are fruits and vegetables and gwotey. A big cup of warm lemon water in the morning, fruits, sunlight then exercise. In the afternoon and evenings, I take small portions of vegetables and gwotey. It was very hard at first. I hated it but when I was able to pull through for the three weeks given to me, I felt very light and healthy. I lost a lot of weight though I haven't weighed but my clothes are a testament. Clothes I haven't worn in years are now my size.

I've decided to make it a lifestyle. The day I cheated, I felt so bloated and uncomfortable. And I started farting. All through the three weeks, I never farted. The doctor has allowed me to add soya beans and sesame seed to my diet. So I can eat tofu and make soups from them to be eaten with Acha swallow or unripe plantain swallow. I feel good.

Bros, there's power in the tongue. I have used repetitive words to bring healing upon myself and a forgiving heart. If you can say to yourself everyday that you don't or won't watch porn like a thousand times, it will work,especially when you wake up.

What I do is write such things on a paper and paste it on my wall. Things like I am healed or I forgive this person. Sometimes I stand in front of my mirror and say it over and over again. I say it so much it becomes a part of me. And I use bible verses to back them up. I have once talked myself into healing from wearing glasses with a bible verse, of course. Heal me o Lord and I will be healed, for thou art my praise.

Saying such things repeatedly conditions your brain or your mind into accepting such things. You will still watch porn the first few times but eventually you will stop. There's power in the tongue and in your confession.

Lastly, find out the scenarios that make you yearn to watch porn. When you find yourself in such scenarios, do everything you can to leave it. Keep busy. Pick up a challenge. An idle mind is the devil's workshop. May God help you. Amen.
