TV/Movies / Re: DSTV Increases Prices Again by exegesis: 3:51pm On Apr 24
It is finally time to take a bow. I don try for dstv. I'll find somewhere else to watch my game shows (Pointless, Tipping Point, The Chase, Bridge of Lies, Weakest link) and Father Brown and Death in Paradise on BBC Brit and ID channel. The only two channels I watch. Sometimes BBC Lifestyle and Food Network. 15700 for repititions? Nah.

For you to make a determination that your cousin is a "virgin" you must be both omnipresent and attached to her 24/7. Mumu.

Most women don't hv such complications....its normally as a result of previous abortions or issues conceiving due to poor sexual health.

This is nor to deny the fact that in some instances its nor the case.

And you chose to make your post sound dramatic so that it attracts likes but it hasn't attracted much likes.
Yep. I knew you would reply with insults. Not surprised at all. You think I mentioned my cousin's story to garner likes and not to correct you? Because somehow the number of likes per post increases someone's account balance? What a joke! Now you're being objective by saying it happens in some instances.

I believe its her past striking. A healthy woman seldom has such complications...that's nature's design. Now uou can imagine this man is potentially going to spend millions of naira treating what was probably caused by previous boyfriends, abortions with previous boyfriends etc
Omo. You nairaland men are really something! Even after he explained the reason to you. For your information, my cousin has it and she got married as a virgin last year. Her husband came to bathe my aunt's with gifts because of it. They went to the doctor. She was told to lose weight and she was on a supplement and to God be the glory, she's pregnant and my aunt is preparing for omugwo. I don't know what women did to you people that you must always paint them bad. May God heal all of you

Career / Re: Work From Home Wahala by exegesis: 3:32pm On Feb 27
Lol. You must be an extrovert. I've been working from home for five years now and I love it. Yeah, people call me anti-social ail but I don't care. They're not paying my bills. I make excuses whenever people want to visit or vice versa. Yep, it gets lonely sometimes but I enjoy my own company. Luckily, my husband works in another state and my kids are in boarding schools. The only time you see people in my house is if my husband is around or my gym days. We set up a gym in the house for us and our family friends for me to keep fit. I can stay a month at home without stepping out of my house. I order everything and it's brought to the house. My family friends always say I don't belong in Nigeria because I behave like white people. Lol. I actually thought there was something wrong with me because I count the days until my kids and husband will leave so I'd be alone. Took a psychological evaluation and they say I'm okay. I'm what they call a solitudinarian and I'm okay with it. To each their own, I guess.

This man held us spell bound with his story telling abilities on Storyland when we were kids. He will tell his stories captivatingly and then burst out singing. Truly and end of an era and a reminder that as the days go by we are heading to our graves.
I still remember one of his songs on storyland " Foolish animals tirigbangbatiri drop your hoes tirigbangba drop your cutless let us dance" or something like that. The era when Nigeria was sweet. Rip baba Solanke.
You got me right there. That is what I've been singing since I saw the news. My brother and I loved the song so much those days. I was already planning on calling my brother to sing the song to him and tell him the originator of the song is no more. Memories! May his soul rest in peace. Amen.

TV/Movies / Pls Where Can I Watch Bbc Brit, Bbc Lifestyle, And Food Network Apart From Dstv? by exegesis: 3:29am On Apr 27, 2023
I have been a faithful subscriber of DSTV for the past four years, never missed a single month but I think it's time to say goodbye to them because it's no longer worth it. I practically watch only three stations and mostly at night when I'm working.

1. BBC Brit for Eastenders and their game shows like Tipping Point, Pointless etc and Masked Singer, Father Brown, Death in Paradise, etc

2. BBC Lifestyle for Come Dine With Me, Masterchef, The Great British, Bake off, etc

3. Food Network for Chopped, Spring Baking Championship, Cutthroat Kitchen, Supermarket Stakeout, etc

and sometimes (mostly Sundays) Discovery ID for Swamp murders, Southern Fried Homicide, Evil lives here, etc.

Please where can I watch all these programs apart from DSTV? Then maybe Disney channel for my kids and football stations for my husband whenever they are around. I'm not a movie buff, so watching movies isn't a priority.

Good morning. Please who has successfully received the so-called manual refund Grey promised? Thanks.

Grey has finally refunded my money after one month of back and forth. They sent it quietly to my Grey account after telling me they couldn't do so. I just checked a few minutes ago and was surprised to see it. Never using them again, though.
