Its good to red flag any suspicious user though you did the right thing, but on the other hand I do not really no his genuine reasons for wanting to have your account first to send, but I remember long time ago when dealing with mayoral , if its was in the afternoon, he wud ask me to drop the account that he wud send later in d evening wen e returns from work, and based on trust I would pay upfront, and then he delivers..there are traders who still request for PayPal account and says later I will send. And they will send..I won't say because he requested for my account to send at night, then I shud red flag him. Except dere is something else he did. Intact wat do I no.

God will continue to protect us from scammers.

If people can be scammed by simply knowing their PayPal account, then a million and one people would have been scammed already via PayPal.

@Expert234, your manner of approach towards this matter did not help your case at all. It's understandable that you'll be upset by the accusation but going on that kind of attack mode made it difficult to defend. We have seen scammers go high on the defensive with insults in the past, your actions only made us more suspicious.

To be sincere, Jdesigns raised the red flag too soon. Asking for account details is not enough to quickly conclude one is a scammer. From the chat, he did not object to use of escrow which should have been the number one red flag. Requesting for account details without having funds to send at the moment is a bit shady but not enough to draw conclusions like that. Last week I flagged a member a suspect as his style of posting is very similar to that of a notorious fashion section scammer. After doing extensive search on his handle and the previous one he deactivated, I realized I was wrong and apologized. Nobody is above mistake and nobody should be above apologizing as well. As it stands right now, we have nothing to tag expert234 a scammer so I expect Tabbaz, Jdesigns and Funlord to withdraw their accusations and apologize to him. Doesn't mean we shouldn't be at alert when dealing with him or any trader here.

I try to make all my dealings pure and untainted. I've lived my life thus far without adding another man's sweat to my purse unjustly. As a result, I'm always mad at anyone that even hints on me being fraudulent, either codedly or directly. That's why I refused to spare that false accuser called tabbaz, that shameless, irresponsible funlord and the unstable jdesigns.

1. I saw how expert234 and his crew were trying to blackmail mods intellectually but decided not to react to those statements. You should not be swayed because they keep insinuating that you must ask tabbaz to apologize or accept that you are working for tabbaz (this got me cracking)

2. The flag was not severe at all and his details were not even included in the scammers list. This shows that I had no solid prove to labell him yet.

3. You did not even bother about the way he keeps breaking rule 2 of the forum and you didn't ask him to apologize to all the members he was insulting


Lastly, I applaud your effort in scam combating on the forum. Together we shall build a new Nigeria where criminals will have nowhere to run

Can you outline the tests he had undergone and how he passed them? Or Maybe you are just an empty paid poster, who doesn't need facts to make claims?

He was trying to get my dollar account details recently with one strange story sometime last month....Jdesigns has also flagged him recently and his hidden posts are too many

Funlord, how dare you say this rubbish? A guy developed an app for me which he claimed could generate about $50-$200 per day. He told me that the name is admob and they only pay via dollar account. He told me I needed to open a dollar account or look for a trustworthy person that could receive for me.

And that was why I came to nairaland to ask for Someone that could receive admob earning for me.

And YOU WERE THE ONE THAT SAW MY POST AND CALLED ME!!!

During the phone call, I explained everything to you. I also told you that I haven't done it before and that there may be other methods of payment aside from dollar account payment method. I asked if you would give me your dollar account details so that I could add it when admob asks me to provide the details.

You said I should find out if there are other payment methods and should also let you know when and if I need to use the account. I asked you for your charges, but you said we would talk about that later.


Can you tell me how that relates to scam even remotely? And you even dare to describe it as if you were not the one that first called or as if I didn't explain everything to you?

I don't deserve this baseless defamation from you funlord. You hurt me pointlessly and this is very wicked of you.

Why would you people always quick to jump to wrong conclusion about people? And when that person curses the hell out of you, you will be pretending as if you are the victims, whereas you are the villain.

The last time I logged into my nairaland account was around the 6th of July. I wouldn't have been aware of your display of folly here if not for a friend that saw it yesterday and informed me about it. And that was why I responded yesterday.


So, your dead brain told you that I automatically called myself a scammer because I responded vehementally against your unfounded allegations? You need mental evaluation, boy.

And yes, I asked for your PayPal account and I explained the reason to you.

And for your information, I sold the fund to hazzantazzan. Had he denied buying the fund from me?

The reason why he said I shouldn't mention his name was because he took advantage of my helplessness and urgent need to sell the fund.

I and hazzantazzan agreed to 310/$, but he suddenly changed to 300/$ after the money had entered his PayPal account. He is angry because I expressed my displeasure at his unprofessional and deceptive conduct, after which I blocked him on whatsapp since I was deeply disappointed about his rather ungodly conduct and lack of integrity.

I challenge hazzantazzan to deny that he bought the over $200 from me. If he wants to deny it, then let him provide his PayPal transaction details here since first week of July.

I went through his hidden posts and found nothing incriminating. The posts were mostly violations of rule 2, not because of illegal activity. His transaction history is another story. Has anybody flagged him as a fraud?

Jdesigns flagged me and I have been demanding that he post evidence that he has or details of any transaction. Till date, he hasn't provided any. Yet, tabbaz was blind enough to destroy my image based on that pointless, baseless, unfounded, empty accusation! What manner of rubbish is this?
