Honestly, the only good thing about Man of Steel was the first 20mins...
BVS on the other hand was a master piece. BVS should have made $1B+ at the box office, and i don't know why It didn't. But the expectations placed on them made them make less money...
However, there is nothing to expect from Shazam because it is coming to the big screen the first time. It has less hype because nothing has been done on it before. It is riding on originality and classic visuals. Like Aquaman, it will be judged based on what you are seeing, which is something not done before...And when it comes to original movies, no studio in the world beats Warner Bros!!!

BVS had Batman, Superman, WonderWoman, Lex Luthor, Doomsday... yet grossed lower than Aquaman that had only Aquaman.
Justice League had everyone, yet flopped.

what makes u think Jesse isn't a good actor? The man works with what he's given and how he's told to act. Have u seen 'The Double'? Then u'd probably see he could play Lex. I think this Luthor isn't meant to be physically imposing or frightening. He was meant to be a psychological torture for superman. He was meant to ann0y supes yet look so harmless. Watch the end scene of BvS. He literally ann0yed Batman yet Batman couldn't brand him. Jesse acted the way he was told to under Snyder and the script. Maybe what u d0n't like abt him is his voice. The man is a fast talker and m0st times often nervous. Jesse's the shy type.

Lex Luther also plays a physical villain like in enemies of the state.

yea many people didn't like Ben Affleck, Gal Gadot, Jas0n m0m0a, henry cavill when he cast them. We barely saw Jesse as a full fledged Luthor and what's with Ezra's Flash u d0n't like? Oh, he's a fan of the cw version. Ok, here is the thing. There was backlash when Grant Gustin was 1st cast as Barry Allen, but right n0w, people think he's the flash!

I don't need to see more from Jesse as Lex abeg. And from the hair to the slim body of Ezra Miller he doesn't feel like the flash to me.

Well, it depends. Snyder was responsible for the casting and some of aquaman's backstory. So he deserves some. It's just that right now the DCEU is two parts: Snyderverse and post-snyderverse.

And he also cast Jesse Eisenberg as Luthor LMAO, and I don't even like Ezra Miller's flash.

Anyways, away from the Shakespearian antics. For every criticism I dish to Snyder, I do praise him for his visual style of filming. But if you've been into Hollywood films for a long time, you'll know some directors prefer working with a particular set of people: be it actors, music composers, camera men etc Example, have you noticed that James Wan likes working with Patrick Wilson or Antoine Fuqua with Denzel Washington? This is because they work with folks who might elevate their product at the end of the day. For the examples I gave above, perhaps they are bad at casting and prefer working with this set of actors who'll always deliver for their style of filming. For Zack Snyder, I think he needs a good story teller to work with consistently. I never criticized him for not knowing how to write, I criticized him for not been able to recognize a good script. Assuming he had a good script writer, he would have been able to conquer this weakness of his.

Or you think Chris Nolan is one of the best directors in Hollywood by his power alone? Nope. Go look at his history, he prefers working with a particular set of people: his brother Jonathan, Michael Caines, Tom Hardy, Marion Cotilliard, Hoyte van Hoytema, Hans Zimmer. I can go on and on. Nolan has been able to successfully build a team that delivers. This is what I think Snyder needs, but first he needs to start with a story teller. He's the kind of director I feel that works with whatever is given to him. Trust me, he won't get to the apex of his career with that.
But I'll always give it to him in terms of visuals. He's also good at casting. At least, he gave us Jason Momoa, Gal Gadot and Henry Cavill.

After all this long yarns we all know Snyder sucks. How does batman and superman apear in a movie alongside wonder woman and not gross a billion?

What's up folks, a question just came to my mind. I've been wondering, with recent events and DC's line up, what's the probability of a Justice League 2 happening.
And even if it happens, won't Ben Affleck be too old for the role of Batman? This is what I think WB's line up should be after Birds of Prey.

1. The Batman (Ben shouldn't leave yet, the role suits him).

2. Justice League 2 (Here, they can build upon the good will of Shazam, Wonder Woman and Aqua man and Batman provided those films are well received and try again)

3. Man of Steel 2 (That is, if they will ever toe that path again).

4. Other D.C films (Flash, Black Adam WW3, Aqua man 2, Shazam 2, Cyborg, Flash, Green Lanterns etc can all take this spots)

5. Batman 2 (I think here they should focus on an ageing Batman/ Bruce Wayne: as Ben Affleck would have aged considerably and introduce Terry Mcginnis as the new bat man)

6. Justice League 3 (The team should have a hard time accepting Terry Mcginnis here because of his childish antics, the threat also must be such that Shazam, Green Lanterns etc must be part of the team)

7. The Flash 2: Flashpoint (Use the time traveling antics to reboot the whole universe, keep some characters, remove some, introduce some and start building all over again)

What do you think folks. If you were DC's head, what would you suggest as the lineup?
