Folystory2: You couldn't possibly put Puyol on the list. Dani Alves, maybe.
But the basic fact is that there has been more of such persons in more time past than of recent. I think its because of FIFA's sanctions those days.
But Gattuso and Kaene.., and even Eric Cantona
I call them " the accuser of the brethren..." Red cards seems like awards to those fellas. |

Afam4eva: I was surprised no one mentioned this guy. He was the most angry African player.
Gattuso belongs to the Italian mafia just that UE happened to be a footballer.
Rooney don calm down. His pre-marriage marriage days was nothing to write home about. There's this clip of Diouf's that I watched; a defender covered the ball against him, making the ball to roll into a goal kick. Only for Diouf to turn around and kick the nigga down just like that o, I wonder, really devilish. . Dani Alvez and Puyol tho. |

SirShymexx: Defo.. Super-talented and he has everything you need in a striker but too dumb to get his shiit together.
Imagine if this current Brazilian team had a striker like Balo? The current squad is crazy, but they just lack a proper striker, the midfield is also shaky at times - then you've got Dunga's utter poor tactics and coaching, and inability to make the right selection at the back. I'm loving Douglas Costa and the young gun, Talisca. Throw Neymar in there and find a striker like Balo - Brazil should be back. O yea. |
Sports › Re: My Top-7 Aggressive Footballers by eyeon(m): 10:22pm On Jun 22, 2015 |
SirShymexx: I hope Balo gets his shiit together. He's too talented to be where he's right now.
Hopefully, he'll get a career transformation like Viera's, and start banging in goals again. Minus his characters, though sometimes with them, that Balotteli still remains one of the strikers I love the most. |
Sports › Re: My Top-7 Aggressive Footballers by eyeon(m): 10:14pm On Jun 22, 2015 |
SirShymexx: But you can't deny his immense talent. Anyone, especially Africans, who watched the 2002 world cup (France Vs.Senegal) will forever adore Diouf. I'll never forget that game, and what Diouf did - legend right there.
I think it's the same with a lot of supremely talented footballers. The likes of: Tevez, Balotteli, Totti, Viera, Cantona, Di Canio, Riquelme, Gazza, Ibrahimovic et al are some of the gifted footballers we've ever seen and, I think it has to do with the passion for the game. Yeah... Balotteli tho... Smiles only seconds before recieving his red cards. That's after begging like he did it mistakingly. |

BIBLESPEAKS: This is my opinion(probably some of you football fans have observed it too): I consider sergio Ramos the most aggressive player.
There is hardly a match Ramos dsnt confront opposition players after a foul against his team. He usually runs to the scene furiously sometimes being the first to hit or rain insults on opposition player. My God, he's always at the centre of a fight.
This was funny: I watched a match(champions league), isco was brought down by the opposition. Ramos ran a record breaking time, got to the scene first. The referee left all the players and held firmly on Ramos, likehe was the only problem on the pitch. So you do see that? That guy likes fighting eeehn. |
Sports › Re: My Top-7 Aggressive Footballers by eyeon(m): 10:02pm On Jun 22, 2015 |
SirShymexx: Your list isn't complete without the following:
- Joey Barton - El Hadji Diouf (still active) - Carlos Tevez - Ibrahimovic - Totti
And the all time list includes the following:
- Edmundo - Patrick Vieira - Ben Thatcher - Eric Cantona - Paolo Di Canio - Riquelme
But Edmundo will always be the most psychotic footballer ever - no one is ever going to be close. El Hadji Diouf... Always spitting on anything that annoys him. |
