PoliticsRe: Buhari Lacks The Intellectaul Capacity To Rule Nigeria' - Professor Nwabueze by eyeview: 11:53am On Mar 16, 2016
plaetton:
Not true.

There was no imminent collapse.
These were deliberately exaggerated claims by the propaganda machinery.

Pls kindly tell us what was collapsing ?

If Nigeria didn't collapse during the maradona days of Babangida, during the cancellation of the June 12 1993 elections, during the repressive and very corrupt Abacha days , and during impasse brought about by Yaradua's illness, then it's very very silly for anyone to suggest that Nigeria was on the verge of collapse during a Democratic government that brought and shepherded real economic growth, expanded ( for the first time in nearly a century) the Nigerian middle class.

The Jonathan administration, against all challenges, meticulously laid the best foundations for genuine economic development.

The administration's foundations in agriculture, power generation and distribution, education ( 12 new federal universities), infrastructural development ( especially in the poor North) is second to none in the post Independence Nigeria.
These are facts that stare you directly in the face at all times.

Was there corruption ?
Yes.
Certainly there was.
As there has always been corruption in the Nigerian polical system.

There is no proof so far that Jonathan's administration had more corruption than any administration before it, going all the way back to the Shagari era.

Therefore , it is an insult to every Nigerian to say or insinuate that Buhari was the only option we had in order to avoid a collapse.
This is one of the most sensible and objective post I've read in a longtime. Kudos.
PoliticsRe: Buhari Lacks The Intellectaul Capacity To Rule Nigeria' - Professor Nwabueze by eyeview: 9:44am On Mar 16, 2016
christopher123:
Professor Ben Nwabueze, a renowed Lawyer and President of the Patriots, a revered group of Elder statesmen in Nigeria, says President Buhari lacks the intellectual capacity to rule a complex country like Nigeria. Nwabueze said this in an interview with The Sun newspaper.

this news can be found at http://www.lindaikejisblog.com/2016/03/buhari-lacks-capacity-to-rule-nigeria.html#more

"I do not think that it is a question of not being prepared. Don't forget that the 2015 election was his fourth time of contesting, of making an attempt at being President. He tried to be president for 12 years. So, he had more than enough time to prepare himself if he had the capacity. So, it is not that he was not prepared. The fact is that he lacks the capacity to govern as the problems are beyond him.

Even if you give him 20 years to prepare, it would still be beyond his capacity. Nigeria is a very complex country. I have told you before, that we have 389 ethnic nationalities. The complexities and the issues involved in ruling such a country are huge. Leading such a complex country is an intellectual issue and Buhari does not have the intellectual capacity to comprehend what it means to govern the country"he said
Very very true. When faced with a national challenge,he just wishes it away.

Oga Fayose,
With all due respect, this is unfair. You can't reap where you didn't sow. These people enjoy no iota of government support. Why then should you include them in your fees, seeing that they pay you over 10 different forms of tax.
PoliticsRe: 7 Igbos Who Could Be President Come 2019 by eyeview: 9:29pm On Mar 15, 2016
Though, these guys chances are slim. If igbos were to sit down and chose,am sure they'll want to put the best of the best forward. Hence,I will go with men like Osita Chidoka. He'll make us proud before the whole nation.
But if we want the kind of candidate that will make the whole nation swear against our ever ruling again, then we'll put Rochas Okorocha forward(aka nwokem, ima onye mbu?)

But personally,I believe that the men of south extraction who will rule Nigeria may not even be among this crop of these ones we see on Tv now.

The haters on nairaland take no prisoners.

The man may be dead but his cronies and 'cabal' who are used to 'eating' their national cake for over 40years want to hide the death and extend their 'reign' till they can figure out what to do next.
The case of Yar' Adua comes quickly to mind.
Anyway,OBJ should pick up his phone and call him and say "Robotu, Robotu, they say you are dead. Are you dead?"

What has Buhari used our commonwealth to do?

Any slave that wants to comment here must first read the title.

Buhari is the biggest thief so far as we have not seen any project by the FG since he was sworn in

You zombie rice craving hungry idiotas should know that blaming Jonathan is now very stale

Bastards
Isn't it sad that despite all the insults, blame games, attacks and attempt to derail your question, not one person has been able to boldly state one single project that Buhari has initiated in this nation(or even anything he has fully succeded in) since assuming office(other than the helipad in daura ofcourse). His tenure is almost one quarter over.
PoliticsRe: "Tell Wike That I Will Attend Night Club In His Village"- Amaechi Vows. See Pics by eyeview: 9:22pm On Mar 13, 2016
Reading people's comments on NL reminds me of what transpired during the Bayelsa governorship elections. All over the social media and NL,there was massive support for the APC and Sylva, but when the real voting started, sylva was thoroughly and massively beaten in all the LGA's except his own. It was then that we discovered that the 'social media votes' he was getting were merely from some yoruba people in Lagos who were just interested in having APC win Bayelsa, not the people.
Now,Rivers election is here now and from the confines of their homes in the south west, they are hailing amechi and APC while the Rivers people on ground are deeply rooted for the PDP.
Amechi and his apc cohorts would now be deceived into thinking that they have followership, only to be roundly beaten again.
PoliticsRe: Fashola's Flawed Idea Of Governance. by eyeview: 7:33pm On Mar 13, 2016
Op,you forgot to add that N50 is taken by this administration for every deposit that goes into your account. So you now see that this govt was programmed to take from the people and not to give.
Fashola from inception has been known to make elitist policies, policies that will further impoverish the people while he and his cronies in power smile to the bank with people's money. His antics is to tell you that its for improved service, many will blindly buy the idea, but later you will realize that the service is not any different from what it was(that is,if it doesn't get worse).
But then again, you can't critisize this govt,if you do,they'll call you ipob. And ironically, the suffering knows no tribe.

But on a serious note, this is a very dangerous and wicked act. Nigerians have always been couriers, carriers and transporters, but never producing.Nations like US, mexico and columbia that manufacture these things are still suffering its effects till date, why would these youngmen want to bring us to such deplorable level.

If your battery is @ 0% and it's writing plugged in not charging, your power pack or battery is faulty. in order to find out which 1, charge your laptop with another charger if it's charging then it ur charger that is faulty but if it's not then it's time to replace ur battery.
else if your battery percentage is greater than zero lemme know there is a fix for that without replacing your battery or powerpack.
The battery is greater than zero.
Although on a very occassion(like right now),it will start charging d laptop

'Pre-emptive strike is not the exclusive right of anyone.'
Now that's what am talking about. If these herdsmen were not dealt with like this in okigwe, imo state many years ago, they would have over run the town by now. This is the only language these herdsmen hear. Don't wait to defend cos they use the element of surprise and usually do so in the dead of the night.
Like the aguleri/umuleri saga, they should arm their youths and go after these herdmen's known hideouts and abodes and smoke them out, leaving none to live.
Afterall,Buhari doesn't seem interested in curbing these issues.

My laptop has developed a fault. When plugged into power,it will read 'plugged in but not charging' and you can use it till whenever,as long as there's power supply. The battery level will neither increase nor decrease.
However,I have come across some chargers that actually got it charging.
Please,I need to know if its a charger problem or the battery problem and what I can do about it.
PoliticsRe: Fulani Herdsmen Have Taken The Peace Of Nigeria by eyeview: 11:31am On Mar 12, 2016
Ever since their brother became president, they have been behaving with a renewed level of 'you can't touch us' mentality.
They better not establish this order in the south east. Ofcourse, they won't be too quick to forget how they started a similar menance in Okigwe of Imo state where they were practically taking over people's farm lands for grazing and killing anyone who stood in their wake. The people had to rise up and nearly sent them into extinction until the then Abia state govt evacuated them and gave them a grazing site in Abia.
My advice to any community under this threat is not what I can proffer on a public forum like this.
