How can a judge on average 6 million naira a year altogether have millions upon millions of dollars and foreign properties scattered all over the world ? Then the mumu said I forgot to declare my assets !
Your post shows you don't even know about the case.
Which assets all over which world.
Son, this is why apc enjoy media trial. Because they know they can always get thousands of ignorant people like you to shout "crucify him crucify him" without knowledge of the case.
For your info, they didn't find any properties abroad talkless of scattered all over the world. They didn't even find any foreign account on him. Rather he has one or two domicilary account here in our local banks here which wasn't included in his asset declaration form.
Frankly, most of us would have made the same mistake. He had declared it some years ago and thought that was okay.
Secondly, I even have some accounts I had since abandoned which I sincerely wouldn't have added if I were filling that form.
Thirdly, there were no "millions and millions of dollars" found in them as you claim. A senior lawyer actually stated that most CJNs travel for international conferences and are paid travel allowances and estacodes in dollars and what is available in the account is actually a reflection of true entitlements of a CJN level.

Honestly, if you guys will stop jumping up to support whatever APC throws up without reasoning, APC would have stopped this nonsense by now. They feed on you people's ignorance and poverty mentality of seeing 'a big man suffer'

Emergency Release
From CUPP
For Immediate Release
17th January 2019

CUPP ALERTS NIGERIANS THAT BUHARI IS PLANNING TO RUN AWAY FROM SATURDAY PRESIDENTIAL DEBATE TO AVIOD EXPOSING HIS UNFITNESS FOR PRESIDENTIAL OFFICE.

..OPPOSITION COALITION CUPP RAISES CONCERNS OVER PRESIDENT BUHARI’S MENTAL HEALTH STATUS

… REITERATES DEMAND FOR INDEPENDENT TEAM OF DOCTORS TO SCREEN ALL PRESIDENTIAL CANDIDATES

… RESTATES DEMAND THAT BUHARI SHOULD FACE NIGERIAN MEDIA LIVE WITHOUT READING FROM PREPARED SPEECH OR HELP FROM VICE PRESIDENT YEMI OSINBAJO

… SAYS THE PRESIDENT’S FALL IN LOKOJA IS CLEAR FOR THE BLIND TO SEE

… DECLARES PRESIDENT BUHARI’S LACKLUSTRE PERFORMANCE AT A TOWN HALL MEETING YESTERDAY AS EMBARRASSING

… URGES AL WELL-MEANING NIGERIANS TO SPEAK OUT NOW BEFORE IT IS TOO LATE

The Opposition coalition CUPP have obtained credible intelligence of moves by the Presidency cabal and chieftains of the APC to stop Buhari from attending the Saturday Presidential Debate to avoid President Buhari's unfitness for Presidential Office been exposed

The CUPP has raised yet another concern over the Physical and mental fitness of President Muhammadu Buhari who is seeking second term in office on the platform of the ruling APC party. Events in the last few days have turned out to be very clear signals that all may not be well with our President interms of his fitness to continue in office.

Nigerians will recall that following the allegations by the wife of the President on the hijack of the Presidency by two or three people and her call for Nigerians to rise against them, the fact that the President is being shielded from the Nigerian media and that he speaks only from prepared scripts, the CUPP had raised alarm over the mental health status of the President and called for an independent team of experts to examine all the Presidential candidates, that call for medical examination is hereby reiterated and there are no clearer signals than Nigerians have seen in the last few days.

The President’s media team had attempted to present as a live interview a pre-recorded interview with AriseTV crew only for the truth to eventually emerge that not only was the interview pre-recorded, the television station was not even allowed to bring their cameras for the interview. It was wholly recorded and edited by Villa officials.

Furthermore, the President’s lackluster performance yesterday at a town Hall Meeting tagged ‘The Candidate’ can best be described as a national calamity, an embarrassment and one which made Nigerians the butt of jokes and jabs globally.

The President clearly showed every sign of lack of comprehension of even the simplest questions while the Vice President was frantically making effort to interject and come to his aid. How can a man who cannot comprehend a problem be the one being put forward to solve those problems? God forbid that Nigerians are boxed into a situation where they will lament, had I known.

The cabal is doing everything to foist President Buhari on Nigerians yet again for their own selfish interests and not for any other purpose.

In less than 24hours after the President showed signs of physical frailties in Lokoja, Kogi State where he almost collapsed on the podium, he yet again in another faux pas while presenting a flag to Chief Great Ogboru in Delta State declared that he was presenting the flag to the Presidential candidate of the Party. Though he was promptly corrected, he further referred to him as a Senatorial candidate and then Governortorial candidate, whatever that means.

We have got it on good authority that the APC have resolved that President Muhammadu Buhari will not be attending the Presidential Candidates Debate, organized by the Broadcasting Organization of Nigeria and scheduled to hold on Saturday, 19th January, 2019. They insist that such appearance by the President will eventually unveil all they have been hiding from the citizens about the lack of capacity, comprehension and understanding of the basic issues by the President. Nigerians should insist that the President must attend the debate and voice out now that if he fails to attend, the race should be over.

This insistence should be clear and unequivocal as we continue to wonder whose interest it will be serving to put a man through the torture of campaigns when it is clear that he is not up to it.
We call on all well-meaning Nigerians to rise up now and begin to speak up and join in making this demand as a motley crowd of sycophants are manipulating institutions of State to foist an obviously unfit President on the nation to enable them hold onto power and continue their unbridled looting of our treasury. Nigerians should be deeply worried and question why all the expert looters of yesterday who were eased out by the PDP have all found comfort in the ruling party enjoying front row seats and are all rewarded with tickets and other positions of responsibility. Nigerians should wonder why the thieves are now more comfortable in the house of the person that professed he would stop them. God forbid that Nigerians are led by the nose to this Golgotha that the cabal is leading us. God forbid! Speak up now before it is too late!

PoliticsFG May Increase Fuel Price After Elections by eyeview(op): 12:32am On Jan 16, 2019
Adewale Sanyaolu

There are fresh indications that the Federal Government may have concluded plans to increase the pump price of Premium Motor Spirit (PMS), popularly called petrol, from N145 per litre to between N185 and N200 per litre shortly after the forthcoming general elections, Daily Sun findings have revealed.

If implemented, the new petrol price regime would be coming three years after a similar increase on May 11, 2016, from N86 to N145 per litre. A member of the Major Oil Marketers Association of Nigeria (MOMAN), who spoke in confidence to Daily Sun, said all arrangements to abolish subsidy, also known as under-recovery, have been concluded.

The source explained further that the N305 billion budgetary provision for subsidy in this year budget is a pointer that the Federal Government is likely to foreclose subsidy in 2019.

‘‘If you have followed the history of subsidies in this country, you will discover that the figures keep growing every year. It never drops but rather balloons,’’ she said.

She disclosed further that the N305 billion set aside for subsidy in 2019 was deliberate and a far cry from the N1.4 trillion expended in 2018, adding that government was fully aware that the figure cannot take the country beyond first quarter of 2019, after which fuel price would be increased.

‘‘With this strategy, we would have been back to the old cycle of going in and out of subsidy when crude oil prices and exchange rate go up. What I would have preferred is to have reforms that would put the downstream sector on the path of sustainability,’’

Giving the current landing cost of petrol, if the Federal Government stops subsidizing the price of PMS today, the actual selling price of PMS would rise to N165 per litre.

The N165 per litre cost is without the 14 items currently listed in the petrol pricing template which when added will put the price of petrol at about N200 per litre.

Some of the 14 items included; Petroleum Equalization Fund (PEF) charges, transporters margin, lithering expenses, Nigerian Ports Authority(NPA) charges which is paid in dollars, NIMASA levies among others.

Group Managing Director of the Nigerian National Petroleum Corporation (NNPC), Mr. Maikanti Baru, had last December, disclosed that under-recovery of petrol, has dropped to N20 per litre from over N80 a couple of weeks back, noting, however, that the Federal Government was still committed to bearing the additional cost above the regulated price of N145 per litre.

Baru, said the corporation was not deterred by the rising cost of under-recovery and would continue to import PMS into the country to guarantee stability in supply.

Minister of State for Petroleum Resources, Mr. Ibe Kachikwu, says subsidy on petrol currently costs the Federal Government N1.4 trillion annually.

According to him, this was because NNPC singlehandedly imports fuel into the country and bears the cost that arises there from.

The federal government had in August 2016 said it saved N1.4 trillion by not paying oil subsidy.
Kachikwu had said government made a savings in excess of N1.4 trillion since subsidy was removed from petrol in the early part of 2016.

The MOMAN source regretted further, that rather than government to concentrate its efforts towards reforming the downstream sector, it was more interested in setting aside subsidy.

She said government should place in place mechanisms that would engender discussions among all stakeholders in the downstream sector which will eventually led to the deregulation of the sector.

According to her, the incursion of too many briefcase businessmen in the downstream sector was a major disincentive to serious players who have invested so much in asset acquisition but are now operating far below their capacity utilization due to the activities of rent seekers.

‘‘Subsidy is fraud. Sometimes they say the fraud associated with subsidy is perpetrated either by government or marketers. The people who are supposed to be gate keepers eventually become rent seekers. The genuine business owners do not like subsidy because they don’t like giving back because such kick backs affects their bottom line

She said such savings could kick-start the “long overdue process of revamping critical infrastructure in the downstream sub-sector such as pipelines, refineries and tank farms,”.

New IGP: Why Progressive Northerners Should be Embarrassed

In August 2015, when I first publicly voiced out my disapproval of what I called the embarrassingly undisguised Arewacentricity of Buhari’s appointments, a few people, mostly southerners, asked why I was bothered since I'm a northern Muslim who is “favored” by such appointments—“favored,” that is, on the emotional and symbolic plane. I was—and still am—bothered for at least four reasons.

One, I criticized similar such parochial appointments by previous presidents from the South. It would be hypocritical to look the other way because I'm now “favored” by such appointments. (Yes, I have more friends and acquaintances in powerful positions in this government than I’ve ever had since 1999). Two, Buhari came to power on the promise of “change,” on the promise of doing things differently. Three, people from my region and religion won’t always be in power. I want to be able to stand on a firm moral pedestal when I criticize future presidents who replicate Buhari’s (and previous presidents’) provincialism.

Four, and most important, I am personally embarrassed by Buhari’s insularity—and every progressive northerner should be. It’s the sort of embarrassment you feel when your best friend who thinks highly of your mother visits you in your home and your mother, during a family dinner, gives you a considerably bigger food portion size and choicer pieces of meat than your friend. You feel like screaming: “Mom, I know you love me, but you’re embarrassing me by showing overt preferential treatment to me in the presence of my friend.”

That’s precisely how the appointment of yet another northern Muslim Inspector General of Police has made me feel.

Can’t Buhari even pretend for a moment and pleasantly disappoint his critics by appointing someone from the South as IGP?

A northern Muslim DSS boss was fired by VP Osinbajo and the most senior office after him, who turned out to be a southern Christian, was asked to replace him. Instead of confirming his appointment, Buhari, upon his return from London, brought another old northern Muslim from retirement (yes, he was tired, retired, and enjoying the reticence of retirement) and made him the DSS boss without ever interviewing him for the job!

Buhari’s self-defense for his provincial appointments is that he needs to appoint only people he can trust. If after working for more than two decades in the Nigerian military, far and away Nigeria’s most ecumenical institution, he can’t trust anyone outside his cultural, regional, and religious comfort zone, HE IS the problem, not the people he distrusts.

By the way, why does he hanker after the votes of people he doesn’t and can’t trust but whines about getting “only 5 percent” from them when they don’t vote for him?

That’s unreasonable.

You don't trust a people to appoint them to "sensitive positions"?

Then don't ask for their votes--and don't whine when they don't vote for you.

PoliticsAppointment Of Northern IG,another Injustice On South- Na-allah Mohammed Zagga by eyeview(op): 9:44am On Jan 15, 2019
Na-Allah Mohammed Zagga wrote

UNPOPULAR POST

I won't support injustice because it favours me at the expense of others. A southerner should have been appointed to replace the former IGP Idris Ibrahim. Instead another northerner Abubakar Adamu was appointed to replace him. This is another wrong move that portrays the government as arrogant and insensitive to well-meaning public opinion.

When Osinbajo served as Acting President in August, he appointed a southerner, Mathew Seiyeifa as Acting DG of DSS to replace Lawal Daura. But when Buhari returned to Nigeria after a hospital stay in London, he reversed Osinbajo's appointment. He removed the Niger Delta man Mathew Seiyeifa and appointed another northerner Yusuf Bichi to head the DSS as substantive DG.

Instead of being worried, many northerners were defending the President. They argued that Seiyeifa's retirement was already due and, therefore, there was no point appointing him as substantive DG of DSS. But they saw nothing wrong with bringing Daura and Bichi out of retirement to give them such top appointments.

The vacancies at DSS and the Police Force provided President Buhari the opportunity to correct his mistakes over the lopsided security appointments. The appointment of another northerner as IGP doesn't help Buhari's public perception. He once again portrays himself as being stubbornly insensitive to our ethnic diversity. Integrity must be synonymous with justness and fair treatment of others. Democracy may be a game of numbers, but equity is the soul of democracy.

In case you missed the point, take a look at the following lopsided security appointments:

1. Chief of Army Staff, Northerner
2. National Security Adviser, Northerner
3. Minister of Defense, Northerner
4. Chief of Air Staff, Northerner
5. IGP, northerner
6. DSS DG, Northerner
7. Comptroller General Customs Service, Northerner
8. Director General NIA, Northerner
9. Comptroller General of Immigration, Northerner
10. Comptroller General Civil Defence, Northerner
11. Minister of Internal Affairs, Northerner

I will never support injustice because it endangers me. It could make me a future victim at the hands of a southern President. There is a danger in setting a precedent. One of the ingredients of integrity is humility and the ability to accept and correct one's mistakes. Perceived infallibility is not and has never been listed among the virtues of integrity. People can forgive you for making a mistake, but consciously repeating the same mistakes robs you of public sympathy.

1. AS we prepare for the general elections in few weeks time , i want to take my igbo brothers back to little piece of history. As we prepare to go to the polls i would like to reflect on an event that happened in
1985.

2. IN 1983 the Secretary general of the Organisation of African Unity (OAU) DR Edem Kodjo of Togo stepped down prematurely and he was replaced by an alumni of UNN An Igbo man called DR PETER ONU as acting Secretary general.

3. Dr peter Onu was a Nigerian diplomat and philanthropist. He served as an ambassador to Germany.
He was a very brilliant man who was well respected and became friends to the legendary Dr Julius Mwalimu Nyerere of Tanzania

4. In 1985 it was time for an official secretary general of the OAU and most African leaders who were very confident in Dr Peter Onu leadership wanted to vote him to become the secretary General Of OAU.

What happened Next was very shocking to most African leaders

6. What happened was captured in Ibrahim Daggash book called OAU: Fictions and fact.

The book reads

@ I remember in 1985 at African Hall we were campaigning for Dr Peter Onu of Nigeria to be Made the OAU Secretary general.

We learnt that the Head of State of Nigeria General M. Buhari was supporting
another candidate IDI OMARO from Niger republic

7. We were shocked so we mobilized a team to meet with him,
The team was lead by the very popular Julius Nyerere from Tanzania and other African leaders.

8. When we approached him Julius Nyerere begged him:

“Please give us Peter Onu from your country!’

Gen Buhari refused and even got very annoyed with us . What was surprising was that , when the result emerged and the winner was Niger’s Candidate IDI OMARO a Muslim .

General Buhari rejoiced to such a degree that he was unable to control his emotions. That was a moment I witnessed and was convinced that General Buhari would not last long as a leader.” –

9. With that single act General Muhammadu Buhari of Nigeria became the only president in History to vote against his own country.

He couldn't bear the thought of an Igbo man heading the OAU so he voted for Niger republic instead

10. Never in the History of Nigeria have we ever had a President that showed Openly his disdain for Ndigbo and
what they stand for. If any Igbo man tells you 4+4. Show them this article

PoliticsSouth-east Soldiers, Biggest Casualties Of Boko Haram War by eyeview(op): 11:49am On Jan 13, 2019
The apex Igbo socio-cultural organisation, Ohanaeze Ndigbo, has accused President Muhammadu Buahri and his party, the All Progressives Congress, of deceiving Nigerians with phony promises they do not intend to fulfil.

The National Publicity Secretary of the group, Uche Achi-Okpaga, said this on Friday in an interview with SUNDAY PUNCH.

The Ohanaeze’s spokesperson therefore predicted electoral defeat for Buhari in the February 16 presidential poll, saying Nigerians, especially the Igbo, had seen the deception of the ruling party.

He accused the Buhari-led administration of making attempts to decimate Igbo people in the military, saying indigenes of the South-East in the military had suffered the heaviest casualties in the war against the Boko Haram in the North-East.

He said, “The present administration has not done well for the Igbo people. There is calamitous violence in the North and Nigerians soldiers are being killed in hundreds. We found out that south easterners in the military had continued to be killed in a large number and they are followed by those from the Middle Belt. This is a deliberate effort to decimate the number of Igbo people in the Nigerian Army.”

Achi-Okpaga accused the government of neglecting the South-East in terms of developmental projects while staging a series of military operations there despite that the region was peaceful.

The Ohanaeze spokesman added, “In the South-East, the government has brought Operation Python Dance; this is the third one. Presently in Nigeria, the South-East is the most peaceful region. Armed robbery, kidnapping have been reduced to the barest minimum. There is no violence anywhere in the South-East; still, they are sending soldiers to attack the whole place. But where there is violence in the North-East, they have no solution.”

Achi-Okpaga also criticised the President for reportedly sidelining the Igbo people from what he called juicy appointments.

He stressed that the exclusion of the people of the South-East from the Board of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission showed Buhari’s alleged disdain for those from the region.

He stressed that the exclusion of the people of the South-East from the Board of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission showed Buhari’s alleged disdain for those from the region.

The publicity secretary stated, “In what way has he been fair to the South-East? Is it in the building of roads or what? Does it mean fairness has different meanings in the dictionary of the President? He has not done well and you can see how they are trying to deceive Nigerians.

“They promised the South-East the presidency in 2023; they also promised the South-West presidency in 2023. How can you be speaking from both sides of your mouth at this time? This government has come to be known for deception.

“Last year, Chris Ngige said by October 2018, civil servants would be enjoying a new minimum wage. Now, they are setting up a committee. What is the need? Pass it to the National Assembly. Setting up of a committee is a deceptive means to buy time.”
