I recently bought a new 4g airtel SIM. I dailed *121# since they said is for 4g data. I subscribed for the 5k for 10gb thinking the 10gb is for 4g instead I received a message that I have 10gb in megapack 2gb as night bonus and 3gb for 4g.

Is it that there is no designated bundle for 4g or is it only filled by bonuses cos I received free 4gb when I activated the sim

PoliticsI’ll Deal With Anyone Caught ‘red-handed’ Stealing Public Funds, Says Buhari by Ezenwammadu(op):
President Muhammadu Buhari says he will deal with anybody caught red-handed stealing public funds, regardless of the person’s ethnicity or religion.

The President said this in Abuja on Friday when he received an All Progressives Congress (APC) delegation from Benue State, led by Senator George Akume.

He also said leaders who undermine the economy by denying workers their benefits while stuffing personal accounts with public funds will not escape the current anti-corruption dragnet.

According to a statement by Femi Adesina, Special Adviser to the President on Media and Publicity, Buhari said the Federal Government's bailout to states and Paris Club funds were basically to alleviate the sufferings of the people, describing misappropriations as unjust and unfair to workers.

“I honestly don’t know how people sleep when workers have not been paid. The workers have to pay rent, buy food, send their children to school and they have healthcare to take care of,” the President was quoted as saying.

“I assure you that my main interest is all Nigerians in all parts of the country. Therefore, if anybody who tries to create any impression that I prefer any group across ethnicity or religion let him dare me by being caught red handed stealing public funds. I will deal with him," he said.

He told the APC delegation that the Federal Executive Council had been monitoring the plight of workers across the country and the utilisation of the bailout and Paris Club funds by some states.

“I thank you for your courage to come and see me. This visit has resuscitated our morale,” he said, adding that his government had made significant progress in diversifying the economy by investing in agriculture and encouraging more individuals and entrepreneurs to go into farming.

“We are proud of what we have achieved with resources at our disposal,” he said, listing ongoing road, rail, sea port, airport and power projects as hallmarks of his administration’s commitment to improving lives.

He noted that the killings across the country, including in Benue, Zamfara and Taraba, were carried out by “ungodly’’ people who had no religious or ethnic inclinations.

“We know about herders. The ones we knew carried sticks, and sometimes cutlasses to cut foliage for their cattle. We now have people who carry AK 47s and pretend they are herdsmen,” he said.

“We are working hard to secure our borders. We are going to see how the old cattle routes can be opened. We will control movement. Please beg our people to be patient.”

Mohammed had said voting for Abubakar in 2019 was voting for the return of looting.

Irked by the comment, Fani-Kayode described the minister as an “Archangel of liars. ”

In a tweet, the PDP chieftain wondered when Mohammed be delivered from the spirit of lying.

He wrote: “Atiku’s choice, a return to sordid corruption era- Lai Mohammed.

PoliticsINEC Ban: APC Consulting Lawyers For Response On Zamfara by Ezenwammadu(op): 1:08pm On Oct 10, 2018
The All Progressives Congress is consulting its lawyers in its legal department to file a reaction on the eligibility of its candidates to run in Zamfara state in the 2019 election.

The Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC), said in a letter today that the party is not eligible to field candidates for governorship, national assembly and state assembly positions in Zamfara State.

The letter signed by Okechukwu Ndeche, the commission`s acting Secretary read: “Failure to Conduct Primaries in Zamfara State Within the Stipulated Time-frame“ .

“ Please refer to the timetable and schedule of activities for the 2019 general elections released by the commission on Jan. 9 2018.

“You would note that from the timetable the conduct of primaries is scheduled to take place between August 18 to Oct 7 2018.

“However, report received from our office in Zamfara state shows that no primaries were conducted by your party in Zamfara, notwithstanding that our officials were fully mobilised and deployed.

“Consequently, based on the provision of Section 87 and 31 of the Electoral Act 2010 as amended, the commission does not expect that your party will submit names of any candidate from Zamfara state.

“For clarity, our position therefore, is that the APC will not be fielding candidates for the Governorship, National Assembly and State Assembly elections in Zamfara for the 2019 general elections”.

However, the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) learnt from an authoritative source in the APC National Secretariat, that the party leadership would contact its legal department before responding on the matter.

The APC National Working Committee (NWC) had on Oct. 5, dissolved the party executives at all levels in Zamfara, after contentious primaries said to have been conducted on Wednesday 3 October.

Mr Yekini Nabena, the APC acting National Publicity had said that by the decision, all supposed party factions in Zamfara were dissolved.

The dissolved party executives had claimed they conducted primaries on 3 October which picked a Yari anointed candidate, Alhaji Mukhtar Shehu Idris as winner of the governorship primary election, and Yari himself as winner of Zamfara West senatorial ticket, in a primary conducted 4 October. The NWC invalidated the results.

The NWC inaugurated a new committee which attempted to conduct the Governorship and Legislative primaries in the State between Saturday October 6, to Sunday October 7.

The panel failed to conduct the elections because of the threats by Governor Abdulaziz Yari to call out supporters in protest.
