pazienza: Take it Easy, Ifeajuna was involved, and he wasn't from Anioma. Granted that Onitsha people are traditionally aligned to Anioma, still Onitsha is in SE.
Lets not play that blame game now, it helps no one, because at this rate, we might decend into blaming Umuahia people for Ironsi folly. Moreover, Anioma is a political term, Nzeogwu was an Enu ani man, the person you are replying is an Ika man. Enu ani people are on the general comfortable with Igbo identity. All Western Igbo clans are the same to us. There is no difference between Anioma and Onitsha. It still sounds the same to us. I will spit venom at any Delta Igbo who denies the Igbo. This is different from the Ikwerre. The Igbo have suffered more from the actions of the Delta Igbo than any other clan and for them to deny us is something I will not stand for. And Ironsi is a victim of circumstance because of what happened in the first coup |

ehikwe22: Lies. The coup was plotted by officers from different parts of the country including few from the north. It was termed an Igbo coup by the media because an Igbo benefited directly from the coup. Listen Delta Igbo, it WAS your people who plunged the Eastern Igbo clans and our Ibibio neighbors into war. And for you to deny your Igbo brethren is a spit in the face of Eastern Igbo clans who had no member involved in the first coup. We did not deny you people like some of your brethren did after the war. My own Igbo clan, the Aro didn't even consider itself Igbo until close to when the British left. But my people still suffered for your perceived sins by the rest of Nigeria I am Igbo first, but I will not allow some Delta Igbo rewrite history when the coup leader Nzeogwu hailed from your region |

blackberlin: You're simply speaking out of inferiority complex because no educated Nigerian, North or South, will ever refer to Igbos as weaklings. It is actually the other way round. The Igbos call Yorubas cowards all the time, but we don't make a big deal out of it because we don't believe we can achieve great things through violence.
You guys need to be careful not to create enemies for yourselves. No one can survive in isolation. Look at the sniveling snake trying to weasel out of this. You called out the Igbo and now you will get an answer. Let me ask you again, what have the wider Igbos done to disturb their "host" even though we are supposed to be Nigerians? The Igbos in the North and West do not even really follow IPOB like the ones in the East. They practice One Nigeria better than any other group which I think is foolish. I am from the East, we just want to be left alone. I can't speak for my brothers and sisters who were raised outside the East. |
Politics › Re: Hausa Ultimatum To Igbos Residing In The North; My Opinion by EzeUche(m): 3:02pm On Jun 10, 2017 |
The way some Yoruba blame the Igbo for Nigeria's problems is starting to get irritating.
Do you see these people opening up threads about the North that openly disrespect them and their mere commissioner?
When the Hausa clashed with Yoruba in Ife and a thread was created, they aimed their anger at the Igbo.
We Igbos face anyone who ridicules our group. It doesn't matter who it is. |
Politics › Re: Hausa Ultimatum To Igbos Residing In The North; My Opinion by EzeUche(m): 2:58pm On Jun 10, 2017 |
I admit that my people are a loud and proud people.
However, when was the last time you heard Igbo clash with their "host" as you say?
Was it Igbo who clashed with Yoruba in your holy city of Ife? The answer is no, it was Hausa.
Who kidnapped a Yoruba chief? Was it Igbo, no it was Fulani herdsman.
Let me ask was it Igbo in the Middle Belt razing villages? The answer is no.
So tell me what have the Igbos done? Most Igbos go about their business and do not disturb anyone.
The Oba of Lagos even threatened to drown my people in the Lagoon for supporting another Yoruba he dislikes. You people have some nerve to continue to open up threads about the Igbo.
The only reason why you single out the Igbo and not other groups is because you perceive us to be weak and can be used as a scapegoat.
But the days of Igbos being used as a punching bag is no more. |

hornyofife: there are strong indications that cost of land have skyrocketed ever since the kaduna declaration.
A land that have been telling a friend to buy since last year was stand @ 3/3.5million a plot at the outskirts of Owerri 2weeks ago has all of a sudden, is standing at 6million naira. The cheapest around there now is btw 5.5 and 5.8million.
and also, i have it in good authority that there is increase demand for shop and office apartments as well as residential apartments.
Please if you have the money, this is the best time to invest in landed properties in the east, which am very sure will be a booming business in the coming months..
Longlive biafraland. This is not good o! Do not profit off of someone else's misery. Sell the land at a reduced rate for any returnees from the North. |

If they do this, IPOB organization will lose members rapidly and cease to exist within a year. But they won't. |

Politics › Nnamdi Kanu Is Not The Cause, He Is The Symptom by EzeUche(op): 12:57pm On Jun 10, 2017 |
To all of you blaming Nnamdi Kanu for the recent events in Nigeria, you all are using him as a scapegoat.
Did you think that the Igbos born after the war would continue to take the injustice they see daily in silence?
There are many more Igbos now who were born after Biafra than those who seen it. And this number will continue to grow.
Nnamdi Kanu is just a mere vessel of the rage that many young Igbo feel towards Nigeria.
Buhari didn't help improve the matter when he labeled the East as 5% instead of uniting rhe country. And by unjustly imprisoning Kanu for almost 2 years, he made him into a hero.
And let us not forget the innocent Igbos who were killed during peaceful protests. Some were gunned down in the most holiest of place, a church. Did you really think the wider Igbo were going to clap their hands at that massacre? |

ehikwe22: Actually, what you call Delta Igbo is a group of groups living together but has been Igbonized. We have never been part of biafra neither have we ever been grouped with Igbos right from the colonial era till present. However, we may choose to go with Biafra if they do it in the right way. Let the Igbos organize themselves first, then they can come and talk with our people . We might decide to go with biafra but don't just wake up and give someone a name thats alien to him I cannot allow this statement to go unanswered. If you are truly Delta Igbo, then you need to listen You Delta Igbo are the reason why the wider Igbo have suffered so much in Nigeria. Was it not a Delta Igbo who lead the first coup that plunged Igboland into our darkest chapter? But the wider Igbo stood with you all. Even though the Eastern Igbos clans were not involved Our destinies are intertwined because of the actions of your brothers in the 1960s, so you have no right to say you are not Igbo when the Igbo nation suffered for the sins of a few Delta/Anioma Igbos. |
