Ajanacool: Oh yes, it has A LOT to do with your level of development. Believe it or not. All religions are restrictive to various degrees, but some are just purely anti development/progress. If you haven't realized this by now, OYO is your case. 1 Like |

olayinka63: lool. Nothing like Western Education. Knowledge is Knowledge, regardless of where it is obtained from. Typical Islamic nutjob statement. No wonder the ideologies of groups like "Boko Haram" (Western Education is forbidden / a sin) thrives among ignorant muslims. No wonder when they brought the so called "Western Education" and asked you people to send your children to school, you preferred sending them to "Ile Kewu" to go and kewu and-become societal nonentities. The result is what we are seeing till date. The gap will always remain between Yoruba muslims and Yoruba christians, just the same way the gap will always remain between the South and the north in terms of education and general enlightenment, or do you think the christians are resting on their oars? to make matters even worse the Yoro-muslims are aspiring to be half baked Hausa-Fulanis a group of people who are already bad enough as things were already..Now, half baked ones??. Lmao. 6 Likes |

Yoruba Muslims are the problem with Yorubas. Nobody should say or tell me otherwise. Anybody with common sense would know this by now. I am just here imagining how progressive, forward thinking and trail blazing the Yorubas would have been if they were 100% christian, if they can achieve what they have right now with just 50%. Check out the list of top 100 Yoruba intellectuals or 95% of any positivity that comes out of the Yorubas and you will see that Yoruba muslims are gross underperformers. Islam always a negative to development. I just thank God for my own people. Aspiring to be a jew (Highest achieveing ethnic group on the planet). Infact, just about any other thing out there is 1000% better than being a Mohammedan headslammer with acute slave mentality and innate inferiority conplex. Celebrities / Re: ''This Is Not Agbada'' - Femi Branch To Ebuka & His Tailor, Ugo Monye by Eziokwu1: 6:42pm On Nov 23, 2017 |
My own worry is that this will distract Igbos from wearing their OWN cultural wears like Ishi Agu / Akwa Ocha, wrapper- E.tc, just because they want to prove a point that Ebuka’s Agbada is fine. Thereby relegating the status an already overlooked real Igbo cultural wear even more. Why can’t we instead, be having a trending national argument about which Ishi Agu pattern is the most beautiful? 6 Likes 1 Share |

VomeSchakleton: Yoruba muslims, see your lives outside. Instead of Yorubas to stick to a purely Southern culture, some of them are trying to be Arab wannabes like Awusas. You lots will never be proper muslims to these people. Case in point, the northerner's post I quoted above. Anyone with proper sense can clearly see the condescending tone and superiority conplex embedded in his post, As if there is one single way of tying a turban. Slave mode 101 Igbos are not your enemies. 4 Likes |

stormed the palace of the Oba to appeal to him to accept the responsibility of leading the monarchs whose oil producing communities traverse Delta, Bayelsa, Rivers, Imo, Abia, Akwa Ibom, Cross River and Edo States The Oba of Jujuland better keep his dirty hands off Igbo oil producing communities in the above highlighted states. I dont know what is wrong with some Igbo people , Ondo and Lagos are oil producing states and they chose to stay away from this, but our pepo chose follow them like say . 6 Likes 3 Shares |

I have warned these IPOB people dey won't listen. Whoever thinks Edo, Urhobo, Isoko, Itsekiri, Ijaw, Ogoni and YES even Efik-Ibibio-Oron will join Biafra is only joking, and I am saying this with all seriousness I kid you not. I know all these palaces VERY well, and the anti Igbo sentiments run high. These same Urhobos are the same people that Ndokwas are mixed with that makes them start denying Igbonness. You think the Ijaws will Ignore their Olodiama and Furupagha brothers in Edo and the tiny fraction of them in Ondo and follow you into Biafra? Just think it for yourself. We all know how anti Igbo the ijaws in rivers are. Now imagine how the ones in Bayelsa and Delta will be. Historically there were both Eastern region Ijaws and Western region ijaws, and don't IPOB for one second ever think one will leave Nigeria before the other. We stand a better chance with the Northern cross river groups like Ugep-Obubra axis, followed by the Annangs. Efiks are 65-35 not in favour. Ijaws are strongly not in favour, forget all of Mujahideen Dokubo Asari's rantings. As for Urhobos? lol just forget it. Focus on Igbo and Igbid groups in the SS. Consolidate the movement and lets call a referendum with the confines of our cultural borders. That is the ONLY way we can make a successful legal case at the UN. ny other thing and I wish IPOB "Goodluck" in their wild goose chase. And In case anyone is wondering. Here is the map of all Igbo and Igboid groups. 11 Likes 1 Share
