Nigerians must resist the signing of the NGO BILL into law, it is anti people and a plot to further incapacitate the poor. Watch the video |
Jnrbaino4real:Kwankwaso has never defeated shekarau in an election, he won in 2011 against Sabir Takai, the ANPP candidate. Shekarau remains the first governor in the history of kano state to do two terms in succession. He is no pushover. Kwankwaso has pulled the self destruct button. |
Tough times lies ahead for Rabiu Musa kwankwaso. Shekarau defeated him as an incumbent governor even though he had the backing of OBJ. He has also abandoned his longtime ally, the present governor of kano a state Umar Ganduje. Kwankwaso cannot contend with these guys. The odds are against him. |

*THIS IS SARAKI IN 2014!!* AFTER SPEAKING, THEY FORGOT THEY DID NOT LOOT OUR BRAINS TOO APC VICE PRESIDENT CANDIDACY *Saraki salutes Tinubu's sacrifice* December 18, 2014... Former Kwara State Governor, Senator Bukola Saraki has commended the sacrifice and contribution of former Lagos State Governor, Asiwaju Bola Tinubu to the development of the All Progressives Congress (APC) and democracy in Nigeria. Saraki also welcomed the emergence of Prof. Yemi Osinbajo as the running mate of the presidential candidate of APC, General Muhammadu Buhari. Saraki, in a statement said: “The emergence of Professor Yemi Osinbajo – a Professor of law; a well-ranked academic; a senior advocate of Nigeria (SAN); and a committed pastor of unquestionable integrity from South-West Nigeria further attests to the commitment of the All Progressives Congress to fairness and equality. “Most importantly, I would like to commend the National Leader of our party, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu, for the sacrifice and contribution to the development of APC and democracy in Nigeria. No doubt, from his precedents as a forward-thinking Governor of Lagos State, and his profile as one of the foremost democrats in Nigeria, the people of the South-West and a large block of voters wanted Asiwaju as running mate to General Buhari. “Historically, the South-West is known not to pay attention to religion but competence when picking candidates for positions, but due to Tinubu’s belief in the Nigerian project, which he sees as bigger than any individual interest, he made it clear that we cannot ignore the current happenings around the country that require that as a party, we must take extra caution and be sensitive to every ethnicity and religion by picking a Christian candidate. “Despite what has been reported on the pages of some newspapers, some of us privy to the happenings behind closed doors attest to the leadership role of Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu, which led to the emergence of Osinbajo, an erudite scholar and a dogged advocate of the people. “In the same spirit, I must also commend other leaders of the APC who have continuously made sacrifices in the interest of the party and Nigeria at large. Leaders like Alhaji Atiku Abubakar, Alhaji Rabiu Musa Kwankwaso and Owelle Rochas Okorocha who on Thursday December 11, 2014 after the presidential primaries made similar sacrifices by pledging their support to General Buhari, contrary to speculations by naysayers that the APC would implode either after the primary or in the course of the nomination of its vice-presidential candidate. APC has, once again, demonstrated that national interests are paramount in the guiding principle of the party, as opposed to personal ambition. “I use this opportunity to congratulate all party stakeholders, most especially the presidential candidate for the success of the process in the selection of the Vice-Presidential candidate; this process has once again demonstrated to Nigerians the preparedness of APC to run an efficient and transperent government, putting to shame those that have said the party was made up of people with personal ambitions,” Source: Daily Trust

The Police in Ondo State has said a suspected kidnapper who was arrested in a botched kidnap attempt in Owo is dead following complications from a high intake of tramadol. The News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) reports that the suspect had been unconscious since his arrest over the Aug. 5 incident at a chemist in Owo. Mr Femi Joseph, the Police Public Relations Officer (PPRO) for Ondo State Command, made the death public while speaking with the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) on Tuesday in Akure. According to Joseph, the suspect died at Owo General Hospital where medical personnel had battled to revive him. “The suspect died nine days after we arrested him; we thought he would be revived so that he could help us in our investigation. “Unfortunately, he died yesterday (Monday). This could be connected with the high intake of tramadol which he took. “We are using this opportunity to further educate the public, especially parents, to monitor their wards and the kind of company they keep, ’’ he said. NAN recalls that suspected kidnappers had stormed Chinery Pharmacy in Owo township with the intention of kidnapping the pharmacist. The pharmacist, on sighting the suspects with arms, was said to have escaped through an exit door at the back of the chemist. The suspects later snatched a Bajaj motorcycle from one Daodu Wale who came to the chemist to buy drugs. While one of the suspects fell and was arrested, two accomplices escaped on the motorcycle. One cut to size locally-made gun and 400mg of tramadol were recovered from the suspect. He was said to have slipped into a coma since his arrest until his death on Monday evening.

My advice to all politicians : After defections please try to do a popularity test to know if your people are with you. If things go wrong like its going for kwankwaso please retrace your steps. Don't be like kwankwaso o ; ![]()

Defections.. COPYING DOES NOT ALWAYS PAY To solve the problem of giraffing, collaboration and especially copying of other students in exams during my university days in OAU, a professor, Fabayo (fondly called FABRO), came up with an innovative method of mixing students of different faculties and levels together in an exams hall! The effect is such that 400 Level Engineering student would sit next to 200 Level Social Science, 300 Level Science sat next to 100 Level Arts etc. With that, invigilators had nothing to worry about and the students knew that there was no point copying the scripts of each other, for such will be exercise in futility. Such is the political situation in Nigeria presently involving APC, PDP and 2018 defections from APC to PDP, where the latter has simply girrafed, copied and pasted APC's 2014 script without realizing that they are from different faculties and levels! Owing to mental laziness and absence of superior strategist in their fold, they truly didn't do any SWOT (Strength/Weakness/Opportunities/Threats) analysis at all. They just copied and pasted what APC did in 2014, thinking it will work. They mistook APC for PDP, forgot that PMB is not GEJ, that their support bases, loyalty and what need to do to get votes of their supporters are not similar. They also misread the mood and situation of the nation. In the case of GEJ, he met a bad situation and made it worse with corruption, ineptitude, lack of will to act right - which earned him the name; Mr. Clueless. He never stood with the masses and was solely responsible for the deterioration he brought upon tbe country. And for these, majority of the people were disappointed and angry with him. And they wanted him out. But in PMB's case, he met the worst situation, repairs and makes it better. He fights corruption and builds integrity into the system. He has the ideas and will to act right, stands with the masses at all times. Builds decayed infrastructures PDP abandoned, and is not responsible for the problems the country faces in any way or form. And for these majority of the people are not angry with him, but want him to continue. Only a minority who are corruptionists, whose wings have been clipped and their conduit drain pipes on the national treasury blocked, are mad at him. Another big difference: APC during 2014 defection was like an empty brand new house, such that those coming had the luxury of taking up unoccupied rooms, which they moved into with their furniture (party structures) and did the interior decor to their tastes. And so, every defection was entirely value adding. But defecting now from APC to PDP is entirely opposite! PDP is like an old rickety family house where each parents and their children are already unhappy, living uncomfortably in a room per family, and now upon that, defectors want to come in as new occupants of the same rooms, which means that they either will eject the present occupiers, or join in further crowding the already overcrowded and inconvenient rooms. Either way, they will meet stiff resistance, and create crisis within the party, which did not happen to APC in 2014. So, when l see PDP say the present defections from APC to PDP in 2018 is same as PDP to APC in 2014, l immediately know that they have missed the way by 100 miles! It reminds me that using giraffe method to copy and paste from the next student to you in an exam does not work all the time, as proven by Professor Fabro in OAU, Ile-Ife. |
