LaudableXX:
How on earth can the amount ever be considered fair, when the govt is NOT going to provide you all these things like good roads, security, electricity and water and other sundry services for free even after paying LUC?? shocked

Don't you realise that in addition to LUC, you would still pay extra charges for any electricity you consume, and any pipe borne water supplied to your house, by the water corporation? Is it Lagos State govt that provides you with electricity? Your premise is totally faulty, sir! angry
The problem is trust, we don’t believe we will get value for the money we pay. But, I think the govt has demonstrated in practical terms it’s motive to take Lagos to the next stage of development to do that you need money and property tax is one of the ways developed countries generate revenue.

From my calculation if the average property in Lagos is valued at 25m. Then the annual tax due will be about 11,000/annum. Less than 1k/month

When we said, make sure political opposition is not destroyed, this is one of the reasons, but Nigerians are just too sentimental, too naive, too ignorant to be governed properly. It is no surprise it was so easy for the white man to enslave them in ship loads. Is this not modern day slavery. They believe in Hitler like rhetoric and Stalinist 'strongmanism'. This is the result. The result of totalitarianism. See the battles at the National Assembly without which the same things will have been operating nationwide. But who will the Lagos State house of assembly support....tthe people?....the weak willed, ignorant people?

Lagosians must pay. It the the dividend of their investment in a one party state.
You mean it’s a bad idea for a man whose house is valued at 50m to pay 23,000/annum for govt to use to develop his host community?
PropertiesRe: The N589.3M House In Omole As Valued By LASG For Land Use Charge by FabioPeter:
three:
How in the world is this house worth N589.3M?
589,300,000 - 0.4(589,300,000) = N353,580,000

.076% of 353,580,000 = N268,720.80 if its occupied by owner

.76% of 353,580,000 = N 2,687,208.00 if rented

This charge may be considered fair if the money is properly appropriated. in residential areas like this you pay around 10k monthly security, cost of running your gen about 40k/month, water/borehole and other sundry cost all amounting to over N600,000/Annum as against N268,720/Annum.

If the government guarantees good roads, security, electricity and water. this property tax is worth every penny. Communities should engage government via town hall meetings, make their demands and extract government commitment. We got to be pounds wise.

*What I find irrational is the % cost disparity between apartment rented out and that occupied by owner.

Also, if you are flying with little children, try to keep them quiet. Sometimes giving them cough syrup right before takeoff would help keep them to sleep until arrival. Nobody likes a crying child.

A portion of the road is under construction, motorist have to share a single lane for a stretch of the road.
The road is usually free of traffic and it’s unlikely anyone will violate traffic rules on this road save for a good reason.

I get really depressed when I read posts like this. Its either we don't believe in the goal keepers, our players are average, bashing of players etc. We are our own problem. We have been programmed to lose the world cup even before the first ball is kicked. We should bleed green and support whoever turns out to represent us on the field of play. Pessimism from us the fans spreads to the players who read our posts on line. Let's leave Rohr to do his job.
Let’s get it right and then optimism can follow. If you watch Ezenwa at CHAN and WC qualifiers, you will relate with my fears.
Every other part of our team can hold its own against our group opponents.

So disappointed Enyeama didn’t get a club this transfer window. If the goal keeping crisis isn’t resolved before the World Cup, we will be out before the third game.

Taking a second look at Ezenwa’s tackle that led to his injury. In the World Cup a two footed tackle without contact with the ball is a stone wall red card.
He could have been red carded injured and let down his team and country. Ezenwa has consistently made tackles/commitments with no intention of getting the ball just a crude tactic of distracting a player and preventing a goal. Against Cameroon at the qualifiers it caused us a needless penalty.
He will be calamitous if given a first team opportunity at the World Cup. It’s about time we considered other options.

For all the struggle you have been through, you still owe your wife an apology. You don’t seem to have any remorse for getting sexual gratification elsewhere after all it’s all her fault.
You have also put all of this on social media which brings further embarrassment to her and her family.
You wear the shoe and know where it pinches, if you consider it best to separate from your wife it’s entirely your choice. But the threads I have read, I don’t think you have put up a good fight.

God bless you immensely for this exposure. Watch as both @forgiveness or @komern ignore this. When I have been screaming about them being agents doing everything to get their players into the team, you all thought I was lying.

Smh

Hope you know they were not scoring in their respective clubs while playing the qualifiers?

Tell me how many goals they scored at the qualifiers and friendly. undecided

For now they play and score well in the GWG. If they stop scoring, only then we can complain

Another thing is, with the way you keep harping about them not performing at their club sides but perform well together as a unit.

Don't you think that Nigeria as a whole have a style of play?..just as we have the samba dance of Brazil?

Don't you think that when together, they play our style well and it produces results?

Must we play like the Europeans or The Americans? huh

Give it a rest already
We had a unique style of play when our players were largely from the local league. Today, they all play in Europe, a good number were born there or started their development there.

Romeo and Batshuayi are certain starters for Argentina and Belgium? Okazaki plays for Leicester city's reserves? Which country is he from sef?
Romero is the first choice goalie for Argentina, Okazaki is a starter with Japan, Batshuayi will play a part just like Iheanacho does for SE.

Lately, having a starting spot at club level has been a criteria for first team spot with SE. in our last competitive qualifiers that was the criteria.

Psychologist can not work on Ezenwa because he is naturally below average. He doesn't deserve to be called in the first place. We have better Goalkeepers in our local league. Thanks
Between now and WC SE will play about 5 matches. We don’t have the luxury of testing local goal keepers.
A WC first choice keeper should be proven and tested, not experimental.

Only Nigeria.

If we can't get enyeama there is no reason for us going to Russia then cos Enyeama is Alpha and omega of SE

Are you telling me no one is indispensable? There is no one like God but we have alot of human that can do your work perfectly all you need to give them is chance...
My points are clear if enyeama said he's not coming what should we do? Quit or what?

I don't believe your post... Remember we qualified without enyeama..

About the bolded part... Ain't a goalkeeper so I don't need a psychologist...
I mean, you can’t give what you don’t have. Just like you, our current options don’t have what it takes. It will be magical to discover a goalie within six months.
I only wish Enyeama makes it because I consider him our most viable option, sadly he is making slow progress, just one reserve team match since early December.
I have hope that our SE will do well at the WC but I bet Brazil, Belgium et al won’t make it out of the group stage if they have Ezenwa or Akpenyi in goal.

Is that the reason we pull out another carpet for someone that has no zeal to wear GWG?

He's tired n he doesn't want to come back... Why forcing n begging.. In case he got scold in addressing home do you know the next thing he will dish out... ? You beg me to come back and why putting up drama...
No player is indispensable

Even if Mikel said he tired today... We will go out and play the match...

The whole country Don beg am.. Even number 3 citizen in Nigeria also beg him what else did he want again?

He doesn't see reason to be part of the team,he has seen it all...

Uzoho Ajiboye and alampasu... Is okay... Ezenwa n Akpeyi should fight it out... Get a good psychologist to make them believe they can..

For enyeama to do it in 2002 either of the three goal keeper Can do it...

Am sick and tired of begging any player to play for us... Population of 200million and one person is feeling important...

He should enjoy his retirement
We can get a psychologist to make you believe you can man our Post....it takes a lot more bro.
If you watch the games Ezenwa has played for SE, you will notice he has been consistently erratic, even the games he kept a clean sheet.
Akpenyi is terribly poor and Uzoho is inexperienced. If we can’t get an in form Enyeama, we can kiss the group stage good bye
