Etinosajay:These accounts for less that 10% of the roads in Benin city, some aren't state owned/maintained. Take a survey amongst residents, there lies the answer. |
missjo:Majority of the roads aren't vehicle worthy. There is hardly anyone living in Benin who isn't lamenting the poor state of roads. |
At what cost was the hospital built? You can hardly evaluate the success of a project without the cost and time it took to complete. |
Whatever happened to the Minister of finance? I guess "Influence" in the context refers to ability to affect lives, opinion, wellbeing etc |
Bad pitch, but no excuse justifies how terrible Onazi is. |
"Edaiken of Uselu" not yet crowned "Oba of Benin". There is a difference. |
Erase Techno from the body of the phone and I might give it a second look. |
I had an experience where the customer care agent of my network provider called a few days after, the call was flirtatious. |
For the records our production quota is 2million barrels per day. We are currently producing 1.2mil bopd due to vandalism of our facilities. We would benefit marginally if the price goes up as expected but the real deal for us is ensuring peace in the Niger Delta so we can grow our production. If we meet our quota which by the way our budget is benchmarked against, we could strive to do more and feed our refineries so we rely less on fuel import which stifles our foreign reserve. It's time to wake up from our slumber. |
This has been a problem for far too long. How does he intend to deal with this differently from past administration. |
There is a simple reason why Linda Ikeji is the top blogger.... You need not look further. |
TrendyP:I am apolitical but you can't divorce this from politics especially at a time as now. |
smartoliver:Please read the post again, then check your response. |
I have gone down this road using a keke-napep its unimaginable, the picture doesn't capture the horror of this road stretching over 100m, at some point it's tarred and ok. From the discussion I had with fellow commuters I believe the people at Erediawa street are mostly in support of the government and will vote Enmass for APC because it's widely believed APC will complete the bad portion of this road as promised. |
Lol...when you see the western union queue at the banks in Benin, you will understand why the devaluation of the Naira has the reverse effect on a handful in Benin. |
Age is a horrible beautician. |
Godwin Obaseki was nervous and couldn't wait for the debate to end. |
Is it illegal to own a gun? It's like saying cars should be legalized in Nigeria. If you own a car you need to register it and get a driver's license. It's same with a gun. We don't have a gun culture that's probably the reason it isn't common. |
This is a waste of time and energy. The world has gone past this. It's pointless re-inventing the wheel. Why we celebrate mediocrity is a lot more baffling. |
We aren't good with keeping record/statistics, you can manage effectively what you measure. I bet more people have died from Okada related accident than from malaria. The simple solution is place a ban on commercial motorcyclist. This is totally avoidable, I hope we learn. |
If a POS was used, I suppose the money goes to an account with a BVN. That means there is a good chance the thief can be caught. Please remind me, did the BVN registration include biometric details? |
joedams:Non of the nation's asset can be sold in secret. If he succeeds it must have been approved by the legislative arm. |
In age terms, the difference between 39,40 or 44 is not as wide as 19,20 or 24. Age difference is marginal as you grow older. An 80 year old is age mate with an 84 and you can hardly tell who is older. It's not the same between a 10 and 14. Age is number. |
If you live in an area with high security risk, it's smart and cost effective to build a police station close to your house. You are guaranteed of decent security and everyone will hail you for such noble act. You got to be smart. This is Nigeria. Lol |
Now they can officially file for asylum in the U.S. Simple reason, they are being persecuted by the Nigerian govt on the grounds of their sexual orientation. That law was irrational and pointless, it would have been better if we're 14years jail term for looting government fund or electoral malpractice. |
ninocia18:What immorality? Pls shed more light. |
This is good to see. supporting her husband. |
Troos Ekong has firmed up his place with the super Eagles. The lad is super. |
Is anyone suffering a similar misfortune of listening to the commentary on NTA? I have never had it this bad. Good game though save for the spoiler. |
[quote author=admax post=48393635]How has that affected the recession the country is 'technically' facing? We just like to leave serious issues and raise non-issues in this country. Is GEJ's cabinet majority Christians? Religion is not the problem, Incompetency is the real issue here [/quote |
It's a clear lack of understanding of what lies ahead. A celebration that will likely be met and overtaken by the rude shock of unemployment. I won't blame them. There is a pretty low expectation of them by the society, so even when they have no means of livelihood ten years from now, it's ok and they won't be minority. Wake up guys, smell the coffee, the ladies might get a husband with a job. Your clock is ticking already. |
Excellent! Do you have a readily available market? Tomato is perishable with a pretty short shelf life. How about planting it vertically using sticks as support? What's the cost breakdown from sowing to harvest, including labour? How do you source your seeds? Please enlighten us. |
