Our nightmare is the goal keeping department. Uzoho is young and untested, Ezenwa is erratic, Akpenyi is a basket, Enyeama is unfit and clubless.

Going on a training, sponsored by my org. I had applied stating I will go alone.
Few days after submission ticket prices drop, I think it's a good idea to go with my wife. How do I apply for her to go on the same trip I had stated I was going alone? What are the chances, she will get it if I apply? What is the average timeline for business/tourist non-priority visa? Do they reference spouse passport number while processing application?

Dear Good pple in the house kindly advice us on the best way to go about it. I am my wife went to the US embassy shortly after our wedding for visa to the us and after the interview, the visa was denied. My wife also went there wen she became pregnant for interview because we wanted to have the baby in the us.We paid hospital bills and got all the necessary documents from the hospital and the dr and proceeded to abuja though she went to dubai b4 this time since we dont have travel history on getting to abuja, the VO said though we have tried but she denied her visa again. Not giving up we reapplied for her again about 2 times after we got more letter again from the dr. but she was denied. Good pple what should we do? should we go to uk first we our baby and the wait a yr to reapply for us visa? kindly advice on what to do next cos some one advice to go to uk 1st then reapply for us visa or i should get the visa 1st? You have invested a lot on attempt to travel to the US. From my rough calculation over 200k on visa application, over 700k to Dubai to gather points and possibly another 700k to U.K. for points. At lease a further 3.5m on birthing cost in US. Is there a war in Nigeria? If you invest 5m in a business in Nigeria it will likely give good returns.

We should applaud the man for giving his team no worries at the back in such a game. He did well for a first timer. Yes a rush of blood made him to conceed the penalty, but before then, the same scenario happened in the 1st half, he stood his ground guarding the sticks before shehu cleared the line, I saw shehu talking to him with the sign that he should have come out for the ball. But am happy that when he was finally called up, he rose to the occasion. That stop was world class.we should say a big well done to him for not letting us down.

Hopefully we qualify for the World Cup finals, I doubt he would have gained sufficient experience to be first choice.

When you win 4-0 there is hardly any lesson to learn. In the first leg Ezenwa was hardly tested but he did the forbidden for keepers in two occasion, first he left his line for a cross that was out off his reach, the second he fumbled a weak shot to the attack line.
Keepers/players make mistakes but when you reapeat basic errors there is more than enough cause for worry. We need Eyeama back.

Cameroon won't be defending, they will throw everything to get the goal(s), we have to take our chance by starting our best striker.

Ighalo's goal against Cameroon shows that they aren't as physical as the stereotype. Gone are the Patrick Mboma's days.

It's shocking Nwakaeme is competition for Iheanacho(at least in this forum). Iheanacho is light years ahead and has 8 goals in 12 appearance(9 starts) for Nigeria and he is only 21.

I saw a clip on twitter on Enyeama's progress with his right knee... he seems to be working hard to get back into shape... I reckon that by Year end or January he will be back... Enyeama will return but Only if he can get himself a club by January according to Gernot Rohr.

Ikeme is also still in the picture if he can return early enough from his health setback.

So for now... Ezenwa it is. Followed by Alampasu is who making progress in Portugal. And ofcos Ajiboye is there and The not-so-reliable Akpeyi.

Outside these we have David Nwokolor at Rijeka too. The situation is what it is... but Ezenwa seems better than Akpeyi confidence-wise and handles-wise.

It's fine, if he does well it's good for us all. Kudos to him on his first real test.

The job is almost done, I am looking at the WC finals, just like Rohr opined we need Eyeama back in the team. Ezenwa can't get the required exposure he needs before the WC.

For now... he will man goal against Cameroun. He is not world class material but is certainly good and loves to take risks too.

I trust Pionetti and Rohr will tell him to reduce his risk taking but it was great seeing a confident goalie for once. We have suffered with Akpeyi for about three games now.... he always concedes... it is a given.

But with Ezenwa and kudos to the defence pair of Balogun and Ekong too, we did not concede in a long while. Now this pair was also present against Algeria with Akpeyi and we still conceded... go figure.

Ezenwa made a game high 16 recoveries and most of them were aerial balls won and you say he was shaky?? Sir.. go and watch that game again.

Even Ezenwa's first aerial save brought a handshake out of Aboubakar... his confidence was wicked.

The aerial ball he spilled was due to unavoidable interference... Apart from that he had no trouble at all dealing with such even in the face of Aboubakar's and Ngadeu's heights... he was brave.

And for the other shot he had to catch twice... that was from Fai on the right Wing... Fai's shot took a sharp bend and was almost finding the last angle of Ezenwa's bottom left corner but Ezenwa got down well to keep it out even though he had to handle it twice because of the tight angle of the curve of Fai's shot.

But all through... Ezenwa showed great grip and handles of the ball.... he even fooled Aboubakar in a neuer-like manner... right from his days at Ocean Boys FC in 2007/2008, He has always been a keeper that loves to display confidence and showboat with a smile on his face. But is he a good goalie? Yes. he is.

Saw him against Benin, he was really good but when you see goalies showboating be rest assured an error is Waiting to happen. Top keepers never do that, I doubt he is ready for the big stage.

Went for an aerial ball from a cross a misjudged it, luckily the defenders cleared, could have been a tap in. Second was suppose to be a routine catch, but pushed it directly to the attack line.
You make these basic errors with top teams, you get punished.
