Politics / Re: Those Who Protested At EFCC Are Political Jobbers, State Enemies - Kogi Leaders by fabraham(m): 8:54pm On Mar 12
What's the total population of Kogi state if the so called KOCIG has one million members?
GYB reeks of corruption and that is a known fact to the blind.

That was what he did in Kogi state.

Kogi agenda indeed.
With an EFCC invitee of a cousin as Chief of Staff?
May God interfere in Kogi affairs as Yahaya Bello and his 40 gang of thieves are holding the state hostage with lopsided appointments to people with questionable characters.

Right way to go.
Most of the votes from Kogi central on IREV were ignorantly rigged.

It is a known fact that the commissioner of police in Kogi state is working for Yahaya Bello.

Upon all the unrest going on in the state as masterminded by the Governor and reported by concerned citizens, nothing has been done so far to remedy the situation.

Yes, but it is the PFA that does that since monthly remittance is now pay as you earn

Joyless004:
Good evening. I was arguing with someone today and want to confirm something here.

Please does federal government still pay gratuity after retirement from service just like they do before??

A senior officer was trying to even say that nothing like gratuity again that they pay part of it via pension every month that gratuity is no more been paid.

I would appreciate responses please. Someone clear this please

What they pay similar to gratuity is lumpsum which ranges from 25-50% of your total pension contributions. The remaining balance is used in paying monthly pension.

Education / Re: The Best Retirement Plan For Retirees. by fabraham(m): 12:54pm On Jul 10, 2023
bankyamoko:
Retirees in Nigeria today have two options to draw their pension from. The first is what is called program withdrawal while the second is called annuity.
Program withdrawal is directly under PENCOM while annuity is under the supervision of the National Insurance Company.
It is necessary that retirees should make enquiry as to which of the two is better . The two of them are trying to outdo each other on service delivery to their customers.
As a retiree myself, I registered for program withdrawal but there is this advice from some quarters to move to annuity.
I welcome information on the two from fellow Nairalander as to which is better so as not to make mistakes on my choice.

Programmed withdrawal is the best based on the following advantages over Annuity.
1. Access to your balance and statement of account, annuity is invested in a pool of funds from other people
2. Pension payment for life and even after life(Death) the next of kin/beneficiary has access to the remaining RSA balance but the annuity is 10 years quaranteed peiod.
3. Tendency of enhancing (Increasing) your monthly pension every 3 years while annuity is statutory.

Nollywood actors are really cashing out on this guy.
Suffice it to say that Nollywood is one of our political problems with this endorsements here and there.

With all his idea and strategies, Kogi is still less developed.

The media is trying this days to force him down our throats.

Common 2 rooms entrance/blockade to the government house,he is unable to complete up to this day not to talk of shabby roundabouts in the state capital after destroying the ones he met on ground.

Way to go!
Considering the kind of leaders we have had in the past, Yahaya Bello remains my best bet.

On Covid-19, I score in 100%
On youth involvement, I score in 100%
With all the recent emerging Developmental projects in Kogi, I score him 100%
On women participation, I score in 100%
On gender equality, I score 100%
On security, I score him 200%

2023 is youth
2023 is Yahaya Bello
If you are from Kogi state and know the kind of allocations that this so called governor has received and misused, you won't make such statement.

His tribalism surpasses that of PMB.

All the recent mediocre developmental strides you mentioned are just a smokescreen to cajole feeble minds like you into believing he is the best.
Where has he been all this while?

Crime / Re: PHOTOS : How Do I Track A Fraudulent POS Transaction? by fabraham(m): 4:05am On Jan 10, 2021
mabeni:
On the 6th of January, the sum of Twenty Five Thousand (25000) Naira was fraudulently withdrawn from my wife's Stanbic ibtc Bank Account. What baffles me was she didn't get alert for the transactions till even as i types this. She found out her money was missing when she bought airtime directly from her account.

We went to the bank to get statements of her account put realised her ATM CARD was used on the POS centre and machine below in the picture.

Please, how do we track this transaction?
Thanks

I collected 25% long ago when I thought its better to chop inside when I am alive. But now I want to get done with 9-5 jobs to start my own company but my target capital is the pension fund which is a bit bulky.
My question is, do I stand any chance of getting any percentage out of it even after 25% initially collected.

IBTC pension manager ..
No, you don't stand a chance after collecting the 25% hardship allowance already.
The primary purpose of Pension is geared towards your retirement from active service, it is not the same as your regular savings account in the bank where you withdraw at will.
The statutory age of retirement in Nigeria is 50 years and above. Hence, you will have to wait till that time before applying for it.

I'm starting a long term project and will be employing a crane operator for 2 years, is this not consistent enough? I THINk a variety of skills makes one available for whichever opportunity presents itself
After two years, what will be left of him as a crane operator? He has to start all over again by looking for work and the same circle continues? But being a welder, he can employ and train others.
