we no go sleep in the next days as our nija friends have new toys. i justhope they are properly used. what nija needs is armoured personel carriers not mbt. provides more flexibility and rapid reponse with less demande on logistics.thats my opinion.

With the excuse of BH Cameron has succeed in keeping it Anglophone region militarised, and Derby has been keeping a strong man pose in the world media while just a visit to Chad will clear your doubt, this is some example mate
My brother how does the BH crises relate with the anglophone crises caneriib us facing. Instead its a pain in the ass of the cameroonian government because though the conflict has greatly reduced with fighing localized in certain lil areas, it still draws much needed man man power to police the 2 regions. That man power is much needed in the north. It is now that the government has been able to meet up because of the presence of troops who finished their training started 2 years ago . Dont mix up things I beg. everyone wants a stop to the BH crises.

Yes, that's exactly the point. It is better for the Russians to escalate which would end the conflict faster than for it to drag on for another 2 to 3 years.
russian escalating brings in NATO and the US don't you think it's not going to help the situation. I also thing turkey is trying to grow too much horns by intervening every were

Cameroon squad level weapons look so good. This final phase of exercise flintlock was really comprehensive.

I remember some people complained in this thread at the start of the exercise. I guess doubters have been proven wrong.

I hope it is a Russian plane, it's the only way for the conflict in that region and in Libya to calm down.

Militants and weapons are been shipped to Libya, the next place they'll turn to is the Sahel region and Northeast Nigeria.

Russia needs to stop acting cowardly and end this conflict with military force.
I don't hope for such my brother. I hope its a syrian plane

sorry that arrest was done by cameroonian gendarms in the southwest region of the country. those bullets were bought in nigeria and was being smuggled into cameroon to supply the arm bandits.

Cameroonian Amazonian rebel groups. Strangely, they don't seem as rag-tag as I thought.
Lol so 5 soldiers with uniform speaks about the others. all their famous so called generals have been wiped out and the government isn't using the airforce to tract them. This guys are a group of rag tag fighters high on marijuana or other drugs. Specialized in kidnapping, beheading and others. The Cameroonian government forces are also to blame because of the wrong handling of this crises from the begining with the burning of villages, and several other horrible attrocities. But lets be sincere my brother the government has won on all the fronts. Military speaking they are already defeated because even their so called strong holds are in government hands, politically its a total victory cause even the US House of Representatives just voted on HR 358 which states cameroon is one and indivisible and threatens those hiding and sponsoring these band of hooligans with the justice and no country recognizes their state, on the social aspect the people in those regions are now feed up with them, some villages where they were hiding have started capturing them and gving them to government forces. The Military has realise u need to win the heart first before anything, YOU CAN"T WIN A GUERRILLAR WAR WITHOUT THE POPULATION ON YOUR SIDE AND LETS BE SINCERE THOSE PICS ARE DATED CAUSE I RECOGNIZE SOME OF THOSE GUYS AND MOST HAVE BEEN KILLED SINCE THE BEGINING OF THIS YEAR.

Tobiloba2407:
we have over 150k soldiers, right? and the army has a logistics department right?
MY brother having a force of 150k soldiers does not man you have a standing force consisting of 150k fighters or foot soldiers. In those 150k you have those working in offices to make the army which is an institution to run smoothly, you have those incharge of maintainance of equipments, those in charge of logistics, those in charge of health sector and you also have troops who are on rotation and need to rest or are on training programs to make them more effective. In a military of 150k soldiers you can find a fighting force ready for battle at about 25k to 50k maximum. Just make my point clear, behind each us soldier on the front, you have 5 to 7 logisticians. so you can imagine.

*SECTION OF INTERNATIONAL AND LOCAL MEDIA AIDING BOKO HARAM NARRATIVE*

The attention of the Multinational Joint Task Force (MNJTF) has been drawn to an emerging pattern of international/local media coverage of the crisis in the Lake Chad Area which suggests sympathy and support for Boko Haram activities and narrative, at the expense of the efforts being made by a coalition of the Armed Forces of countries of the Lake Chad Basin.

This pattern of coverage has been observed over a period, but the recent report of the clash between Sector 1 of the MNJTF and Boko Haram Terrorists in Darak in Northern Cameroon, which portrayed Boko as being dominant, has called for serious concern. In this instance, the casualty figures quoted by the AFP and slant given by its local collaborator the News Express (on line) is very unfortunate.

For the record, two days ago, about 300 heavily armed Boko Haram Terrorists invaded Darak. However, they were met with stiff MNJTF resistance resulting in the a bloody gun battle which lasted for several hours.

At the end of the fire fight, the following statistics were recorded:

- 10 MNJTF personnel killed in Action.
- 8 MNJTF wounded and evacuated for medical attention.
- 8 civilians killed and one wounded.
- 64 Boko Haram Terrorists killed.
- 8 captured.
- Several wounded.
- 3 Boko Haram boats destroyed.
- several arms and ammunition confiscated.
This bold and ruthless response by the MNJTF is in keeping with the resolve of the Force to make the Lake Chad Area untenable for terrorists of whatever persuasion.

The MNJTF understands that the news business thrives on timeliness. However, it is always desirable to ensure that facts and accuracy are not lost in the quest for urgency, in order not to give the impression that evil is favoured over good.

To facilitate the need of accuracy, the MNJTF is always ready to respond to requests for verification or confirmation of information on occurrences within its Area of Operation. The media is therefore urged to keep faith with a key tenet of the profession, which is the sanctity of facts.

Please, disseminate this information to the general public.

The types of wars we fight in Africa, frankly encourage this kind of behaviour. An enemy without uniform who hides behind civvies, commits atrocities on wounded and army POWs indirectly instigates this crime. In the 1960s Shifta war officers were handed cyanide pills and warned never to be taken alive-the men were ordered if everything turns to ishyt to save 2 rounds for themselves in case one fails and "go to their God like a Soldier." Idk if anything happened to the army unit, though its not an excuse!
It shows a top down break in command and discipline-dumb niggas actually filmed it! Clearly, the Cameroonian army ethos needs drastic change. I rmbr recently we saw a vid of the 'elite' BIR burning the bodies of dead Ambazonians, presumably after execution. If that's how an 'elite' unit acts what about the ordinary units?
Your Totally right such war brings out the bad even in elite units. But i think much has been done by the top brass such wont repeat it's self. But more needs to be done to again the sympathy of the population cause in guerillar warfare if you don't have support for the population you have lost the war.

I would never deny or negate the fact that there are bad elements in the Cameroonian MIlitary. The war against BH or the ongoing crises in the SW and NW region of Cameroon have displayed or portrayed bad elements in the Cameroonian armed forces, so if you want to use this video as one portraying the Cameroonian military suit yourself. I wont go low by doing the same about the NA because the list is long. I have several times in this forum placed images of the attrocities committed by the Cameroonian Military so all this ur stupid acts just reflects what i was saying earlier.
