Bidex111 learn to ignore.

I enjoy the photos you share here, and it'll be a shame if you allow some of these distractions take away something you like doing.

After the Metele attack disaster, i decided to take a break from all military posting, the system doesn't want to change despite my fervent hope to the contrary.

However, that's my decision. Looking back the last 2 pages of this thread, i see alot of mudslinging, my advice to you is, you ignore them and watch it fiddle away.

I've been posting military related content for self satisfaction for a very long time, and it's something i truly enjoy. Abi dem dey pay you to post pictures for nairaland?

If anyone has made it there life's work to be posting irrelevant content and insults at you here, let it be known that you are responsible for bringing joy to that person's empty life, so let them continue just ignore it.

I've been accused of a lot of things in the past, it would continue now and possibly into the future, so if i bring your life meaning through that, by all means continue. grin cool cool

I post images because i enjoy doing it, in fact the photo of the Nigerian Special Forces Vehicle, i bought that picture for 15,000 naira, that's around 43 US dollars from Sodiq Adelakun. I spent that much money because i enjoy my leisure of sharing photos, not for any financial gain or anything.

I'm glad the photo has been shared, even Africaken shared it on twitter.

So my man, no bother yourself dey respond to incitive or abusive comments, it won't take anything from you. Just continue sharing battlefield images most of us all enjoy.

One love, peace bruv!
My Brother you post portrays maturity. But my question na say u really buy 1 picture for 15k naira.Chai if i was ur wife u go recieve heavenly crack(just kidding) grin grin grin grin grin grin grin grin grin grin grin grin grin grin grin grin grin grin grin grin grin grin

These pictures clearly showed that they were caught alive and possibly without a fight and your soldiers callously went ahead to kill all of them in cold blood.

There is even no single sophisticated weapon among the weapons.

If you continue like this you are breeding more hate and it will come to haunt you. Learn from the Nigerian Boko Haram experience.
Your right. but it does not change a fact that a gun is a gun and it kills. those weapons have killed and continue killing. they cut teachers fingers for teaching because they declare no school, kidnap children because they wish to study, destroy roads and infrastructures because they don't want communities to leave their villages, behead retired soldiers or captures soldiers or even bury them alive do you think the military would have any pity for such people who behave like barbarians. I can show display horrible pictures of what this people do. the population has now turned against them and are showing their hideouts to the military. If they were doing such good as people say why do civilians betray them. Kidnapping has become a national sports in the anglophone regions because of them. Though i blame the government for allowing this issue get to this level but this guys have done enough damage.

I hate sharing such pictures cause it does more harm than good. just yesterday 31 rebels were killed. Those are kids loosing their lives because they believe in "Odeishi" or because they are brained washed. Its hurts sincerely. This civil unrest in cameroon is has no winner but loosers on all sides.

PoliticsRe: Soldiers Who Survived Boko Haram Attack In Borno (Pictures) by fabselad(m): 1:32pm On Nov 24, 2018
BoneBlogger:
Here are pictures of the soldiers who survived attack after Boko Haram insurgents overran a Nigerian Army battalion in Borno State on Sunday, killing the unit’s commander and at least 70 soldiers.

According to reports, large cache of arms, ammunition, and military equipment were carted away by Boko Haram fighters during the attack on 157 Task Force Battalion in Metele, Guzamala Local Government Area, at about 6:00 p.m.

According to some of the soldiers, who survived the attack, the move to evacuate the corpses was thwarted by the Boko Haram fighters, who held their ground and forced the soldiers to abandon the mission.

According to  a soldier, who survived the attack, their location was invaded after Boko Haram allegedly issued a threat letter last Friday that it would soon take over four strategic military locations around the Lake Chad region.

The soldier, who managed to escape the attack alongside other injured troops, said at least 70 soldiers died in the attack.

Henry240:
PRESS RELEASE ON THE ATTACK ON 157 TASK FORCE BATTALION DEFENSIVE LOCATION AT METELE IN GUZAMALA LOCAL GOVERNMENT AREA OF BORNO STATE

1. The attention of the NA has been drawn to several social media, print, electronic and online publications about the recent attack on 157 Task Force Battalion at Metele. Whilst it is true that there was an attack on the location on 18 November 2018, it has however, become necessary to correct several misinformation being circulated with regards to this unfortunate event.

2. It is important for the public to note that the NA has laid down procedures for reporting incidents that involve its personnel who fall casualty in action. Out of respect for the families of our gallant troops, the NOKs are first notified before any form of public information so as to avoid exacerbating the grief family members would bear, were they to discover such from unofficial sources.

3. Furthermore, it suffices to observe that several social media, print and online publications have been brandishing false casualty figures as well as circulating various footages of old and inaccurate BHT propaganda videos and alluding same to be the attack on 157 Task Force Battalion. Whilst it is understandable how such misinformation can spread in this era of social media frenzy, the spurious circulation of some of these videos only contribute to further propagate the propaganda intent of the terrorists; to misinform the populace and portray themselves as what they are not. So far, the situation is that the location is under control as reinforcing units have been able to repel the terrorists and stabilize the situation.

4. The NA sincerely, wishes to thank the various arms of government, MDAs and sister security agencies that have stood with her in these trying times; by commiserating with the families of the fallen heroes who have paid the supreme price for the defence of our dearly beloved country. The necessary support being given the NA by the Federal Government and the goodwill of the Nigerian populace will undoubtedly continue to spur the NA towards the ultimate defeat of the highly degraded BHTs.

5. This is for your information please. You are kindly requested to disseminate same through your various media channels. Thank you.
my brother do you really believe this stuff

Sizzorkay:
Well perhaps they thought why bother, it's a country full of young people, there are millions more children of mostly struggling families they can throw out there to fight.
The leaders have acted like life is cheap, and that didn't just started, why are you surprised? I'm not.
There's more where those soldiers come from ( their thinking), Nigerian leaders seems to have more important things to deal with.
In any serious country, this would be an Emergency situation, but it's happened before, no lesson learned, so don't expect any.
More needs to be done for our soldiers in terms of support, financial support and provide them with modern equipment that will give them an edge, not make them an equal to the enemy.
And perhaps remove people from remote areas, when soldiers are stretched too thin because they have too many villages and towns to cover, BH only have to overwhelm one position and bam, that battle will be lost.
I say demolish these small villages and move the people out. Sure not pc, but troops can't be everywhere and secure everywhere, or arm the people and let them be on their own.
My brother I tire.Just wait and see. the same thing will happen again and we will be here lamenting again

I watched the video yesterday, that's why i've been so angry.

Nigerian leaders are only interested in 2019 elections.

This one doesn't concern them.

Do you think the government, military high command or the ruling party have issued any statement?...... They don't care about that.

2019 elections on their minds.
Your totally right. They act like they are heartless, no statement, no flags flown on half mast, nothing nothing. Even Cameroon were our leaders are blood lovers don't act like that. at least they give a press conference even if it's to tell a HUGE lie but at least they show concern. Am just thinking about those families in pains without news of their family members.
The weapons collected will serve in attacks against neighboring nations. Am getting info from a friend in the BIR in the north that troops are on high alert due to this increase in attacks of BH.

i just saw the video. cry cry cry cry cry cry i have chills running down my spine. young souls wasted due to poor leadership. Am a Cameroonian and when i see such i feel bad.why do our leaders not learn lessons from past errors. here in Cameroon the military top brass thought they could send young trainees fight an urban warfare which they were not trained to fight. it took some losses before they learnt the hard-way before sending in specialized units.
I feel for such losses and I blame the top military officials for such losses. It pains really. cry cry cry cry cry cry cry cry cry cry cry cry cry cry cry cry cry cry cry cry cry cry cry cry cry embarassed embarassed embarassed embarassed embarassed embarassed embarassed embarassed embarassed embarassed embarassed embarassed embarassed embarassed embarassed embarassed embarassed embarassed embarassed embarassed embarassed embarassed

You should be shot in the head seriously.

I can't believe you are spitting these nonsense. The army been properly funded, you might as well day they are properly motivated against an enemy who is ready to fight.

We can't win these war with Toyota Hilux mounted with 50 calibre/12.7mm HMG. Apart from the fact that the soldiers are not doing there well, most of the lapses are coming from the army HQ and the army not been properly funded.

Have you watched the video of the attack; hundreds of insurgency Ed atacking from to defferent axis. They where out numbered and flanked from all directions, out gunned in numbers. Where was the Airforce huh If there is any point in time the army needs the airforce; it is these type of situation.

The army top brass needs some serious shaking.
Can i please have a link to the video

Let it sink in. These are the guys the Nigerian army lost against?

Can you not see it for yourself?

How is this a weapon issue?

Don't delude yourself, think and talk smart.

It's an indiscipline, training and strategy issue.

he Nigerian army saw these guys and immediately bolted. That's really embarrassing.

As a trained soldier, your training should ordinarily kick in when faced with this sort of attack, not flee.
Really a pity. Why does this keep happening.May the soul of those Gallant Soldiers Rest in Peace.
