How do I detangle
For moisturizing and detangling, I use my spray bottle that has 50% water, 20% leave-in and 30% oil ( hair wonder oil, coconut oil, castor oil and mostly olive oil since its d cheapest)
For deep conditioning I use leave-in, mayonnaise, avacado, honey and olive oil mixed together. check YouTube for more ideas

When you want to detangle bear in mind that you want the least possible breakage to achieve your hair goals.
PROCEDURE
Section hair
Pick one section
Use ur finger to detangle gently
Finger comb
Spray or moisturizing mixture from spray bottle and massage for a while
Finally comb using a big tooth comb.
Repeat for all sections.

I just stop using relaxer for my hair. I want to go natural.how do I achieve a natural hair faster?
Congrats on taking d big decision.
just like my sweet lady has said u can either transition for a while or do the big chop both are good.
But my advice is that u should try and transition as long as u can. you simply don't relaxer your hair but the prob with this is that u need to moisturize your her using a leave-in conditioner, hair oils and water. I'd advice u to transition for at least one yr before u trim out the relaxed part totally. This will save the stress of having a really short hair. But of course the choice is all urs.
About your hair growing really fast. the rule is moisturise, detangle, finger comb and finally comb with a big tooth comb to minimize hair breakage. if you can achieve the least possible hair breakage then you can your hair can grow as fast as your genes permits.

Hi guys,
I'm a Natural Hair Blogger, my site is www.biancasbeautyblog.com

I know the struggle of keeping a natural hair and that's why we naturalistas must have each others back.
When I first went natural that's after my big chop it was hard for me to figure out a lot of things, which products to use, what's styles to do, how to moisturize, how to get my hair looking healthy like the Nigerian naturalista celebrities (Genevieve Nnaji, Beverely and a host of others), How to get my hair to grow, how to stop breakage and so on. Well through my research and experiences I've realized that most natural hair rules are myths and I've equally come across some truth and now I'd love to share.

So if you have any questions on how to go natural or how to take care your natural hair you can ask me. I'd be here 5pm everyday to answer them.
Drop your comments below
1.What's your biggest problem with your natural hair?
2. what do you love most about being natural?
3. What are your natural hair goals (length, health or volume)
4. Do you have any regrets on whatever so far?

Hi guys,
I transitioned for 3 months and I did my big chop in march. my hair was so Short I didn't know what to do with it and ppl won't let me rest. they kept on asking why I cut my hair, it was annoying. it didn't help that for about 4 months my hair refused to grow it just kept breaking and my front hair was chopped. then a friend introduced me to hair wonder cream and oil. After using it for 2 months now my hair has grown much longer and my edges are full. I will drop a pic of my hair.
Asides that I use cantu leave-in conditioner and homemade coconut oil.
I'm a distributor for Hair wonder hair cream and oil. it is made from natural herbs and oils and it enhances hair growth.

This thread has really been helpful, I did the big chop two weeks ago after transitioning for about three months. Please I'm new and have a lot of questions.
*I wanna know if I can use the castor oil sold in the pharmacy?
*Is it the common olive oil some Christians use for anointing, the one you guy are talking about?
*Please is there any DIY style for a 3inches 4c hair type you guys can share?
Bantu knots and twist out will look good. I have my 1st month twist out on my dp

yea it comes in many colours for the ones mixed, i used the native one that is suppose to dye my hair straberryred. Btw, can you reccomend a good conditioner+ moisturizer, and other product that would help my hair grow healthy. i've been using coconut/olive oil and shea butter, black soap as shampoo, and v05 conditioner since i transitioned.
cantu leave-in should be OK. black soap is equally good but make sure you pre-poo if not your hair will be so dry AF. Finally for hair growth and dandruff treatment I've been using Hair Wonder hair cream and oil and it works.

Lovelygurl you won't believe me on this. ...I tried everything, even wasted 7k to buy shampoo and conditional with moisturizing oil still my hair refused to get soften. cry embarassed

I said OK, let me try black soap but it was a disaster, my hair got dried no matter the leave in conditional I soaked my hair with. It was like my hair developed a potbelly to drained all moisture.

I tried kernel oil, someone advised (oh Lord, my hair went bankrupt and dried up, it was horrible)

The thing now is, conditioners and whatever the heck they are doesn't soften or moisture my hair...nothing does...or if it does eventually, it dries out quickly.

I almost wanted to put a damn relaxer on it.....chaiii.

Only thing that does soften it is thread( and I hate rubber thread eh) huh

I'm on one right now, I decided to used wool to make it fashionable.

Please o, advise on what to do now as I'm loosing my wits. I have a really hard and strong hair.

*don't mind my oily head, the saloon woman wanted to anoint oil on my head. I won't blame her cos that was the only way she could have managed to get my hair fixed.*
I will recommend cantu leave-in conditioner. That's what I use and it works perfectly. After applying the leave-in lock the moisture with shea-butter.

The barrister girl is a mess, imagine ur kids having her as the role model...
As for the other lady, no matter how good things are with her u have to let go because its a little selfish to put ur kids through that pain. I have an Ss friend... That is not a funny suituation, being and looking sick half the time..

Adoption is still an option bro. IVF is ok too but since u haven't got all the money and there is still a chance of failure, go for adoption. Adopt a baby that is few months old probably a girl, love her and care for her. She will fill the void u feel. I know couples who adopted kids and are very happy right now. Dont kill yourself over this. Do what u can and liv the rest for God.
