I am the sound engineer in my church... remember "faith comes by hearing" if people can't here what the pastor is saying, then there's no faith and "without faith no man can please God" my work makes hearing and faith possible... most importantly, I like to be unassuming, and been behind the console gives me that opportunity and keeps me away from "notice me syndrome" |
Swissheart:what exactly is that? |
14:and now that they have decided to devalue.. he chose the black market rate... why not go with the official rate so that before it loses grand we can still have some value. |
aloeman15:South Africa also has issues with falling commodity prices especially Gold. then Egypt has had to battle a sharp fall in tourism generated foreign exchange, mainly due to Terror attacks |
azidomedogo:keep deceiving yourself. Matt 6:3 when you do charitable deeds,do not let your left hand know what your right hand is doing Stop misinterpreting the bible.. when you do good people will naturally talk about it, that is your light that shines) but when you go about broadcasting and spending money on image laundry... you aren't lightening anything but your image did christ ever set up a media and publicity committee it was people who retold his miracles, not him, not even his disciples |
14:South Africa yes! but EGYPT is way behind Buhari has succeeded in destroying our naira and our economy |
my thinking is that this guy doesn't have such money to doll out.. so the more reason for flimsy excuses. by the way he should be commenting about individuals..the board or panel should be doing so, it makes it seem he has got personal issues with some people |
Henrydone:still no difference.. what I see are shops and event center |
all this "playing to the gallery" must we see them on TV and social media? |
slimderek:I went to Benin for the first time few months back... my observation, they have very good city layout, what that means is that, the actual infrastructure may not be there but the foundation for it available. as developed as Lagos is,there's hardly a good layout (masterly planned) city centre, except a place like SURU LERE and that explains the ease of traffic there, but but that was very visible in Benin. |
your own definition of infrastructure is tarred road and roundabouts that is the reason we haven't progressed beyond our local governments, because when someone like you gets into position of authority, you end up building roundabouts and few road label them "As massive infrastructure" |
Henrydone: as in na only roundabout dey for akure?

Orikinla:they are both "A-list" star actress, it is left for the director to create the environment for harmony. I saw the two on rehearsal for the set,and they were really friendly to each other.. I dont know where we make up this stuff |
GlorifiedTunde:the so called grudges only happens on social media..and we are the ones that engineer it and load on people's mind.. in reality they may not be good friends but professionally they do get along without much ado |
Ok so whose economy will be the top dog in Africa when the interbank market opens on Monday? South Africa’s nominal GDP was estimated at R4.0 trillion for the year 2015, by its statistics agency (Stats SA). Nigeria’s National Bureau of Statistics (NBS) estimates the country’s nominal GDP to be N94 trillion at the end of 2015. The South African rand currently exchanges for 15.37 per dollar meaning the country’s R4.0 trillion GDP is equivalent to $260.2 billion. Nigeria’s N94 trillion economy would be equivalent to $268.5 billion if the exchange rate were to move to N350 per dollar when trading begins on Monday. It seems pretty close. However there is also the issue of growth, which is also a factor in determining how big the nominal GDP will be by the end of 2016. South Africa’s economy contracted by a dismal -1.2 percent in Q1, 2016, while Nigeria’s contracted by 0.37 percent. Perhaps we can say Nigeria is doing less badly than South Africa, but sadly Africa’s largest economy and oil producer would have to lift growth rates to near double digits and double nominal GDP to N200 trillion, just to come close to the $500 billion plus economy it was in 2014. nairametrics.

Three pupils have emerged winners of the 2016 public primary schools’ debate in Aguda-Surulere Council Area of Lagos State, with the overall winner carting home N30,000 prize money. Eleven-year-old Onyeka Agina of Canal Primary School won with 16 points, while Ifeanyi Aronu of Umoru Primary School came second with 15 points and Chidima Igwe of Enitan Primary School placed third, scoring 14 points. Aronu got N20,000, while Igwe went home with N10,000 prize money respectively. Eleven primary schools participated in the 7th edition of the competition, organised by an NGO, Total Child Educational Foundation. Speaking on the occasion, Bankole Sadipekun, the Executive Vice-President of TCEF, noted that the competition would help to identify areas of weakness among the pupils. Sadipekun, who spoke to the News Agency of Nigeria on the sideline of the competition held on Wednesday, stressed the need to lay a solid foundation for learning at the primary school level. He said the debate had revealed the true situation at the foundation and formative level of education in the country. He said: “Most of the pupils who participated in the competition are usually the best in their schools. “The debate will help to identify areas of weakness among the pupils particularly public speaking and communication skills. “The programme has also revealed how bad things are especially in the public primary schools, which is the formative level.” The TCEF boss explained that a programme – After School Club – had been introduced to retrain the pupils in the identified areas of weakness. He said: “We are trying to bring out the desired standard and best out of the pupils through the After School Club introduced for the pupils.” Sadipekun noted that teachers, who also participated in the debate of their pupils, identified critical areas which required more work such as diction, subject-verb agreement among others. Describing education as fundamental to national development, he said the interest of pupils should be sustained in education at all cost. Agina, the winner of the competition, told NAN that he was excited about his performance and urged teachers not to relent in their effort to bring out the best in them. He said: “I feel happy and I want to appeal to our teachers to help us as pupils so that we can be brave at all times.” The primary five pupil, who called for regular inspection of schools, urged the state government to provide more books and improve on the facilities in schools such as regular water supply. theeagleonline.com |

my brother hate is a strong word. it is time for you to carry your own cross when a mother eagle feels the eaglet is not quick in learning to fly, she throws him overboard.. now that may be too harsh but, life itself is not fair. it is time for you to gather your own fire wood.. they have done enough for.. men! you should be greatful, At this point, they owe you absolutely nothing.. infact you owe them more. |
Mynd44:and you believe that all DEZIANI'S years of had labour from been a director in Shell and been a public servant, she can't afford jewelry? and which court of law have you tried and convicted her? |
chubbygal:why post people's pictures on social media without their consent...and what has this got to do with the topic of discussion? |
Let's be sincere for once.. the three ministeries under Fashola is a huge burden on his shoulders, and he would do himself a great deal of favor to relinquish two of it and concentrate on the most important job which is POWER. POWER supply has become a nightmare under Fashola's watch and something drastic has to be done and done fast... this the worst It has ever been.. he seems to be biting more than he can chew and humility and forthrightness demand he focuse on power. one major decision he has clearly gotten wrong is that of deciding not to build new power plants but instead concentrate on completing existing once... who does that? every part of Nigeria should be a" construction site " for building of power plants..because if even if you complete existing plants, we still won't have enough, to why not start new once and increase supervision? |
Proffdada:that is one thing they never tell us |
