Good day everyone,

please we are trying to book hotel as our intended travel date is 22nd of this month.
we want to spend 14days in all
but may not likely want to stay in one hotel all through.

i dont even know how to do the booking self.

we will be going to different locations for tourism.can one book short stays each locations??
like 2days in one hotel and book another 4days in another location and like that.

we all have return tickets.

This is our first visa to the uk but not the first application though.
the first application was denied in february with reasons that they wanted to see the source of my husbands income,

so in this second application we uploaded his company statement of account in order to attribute his income to a source.
its a 6months visa

my personal statement of account where i earn my salary
acknowledgement of annual filling of the company we are both directors to
my own side business is a business name and its inactive(i didnt bother since its a sponsored application)
previous travel documents to dubai,and ghana as family
husband consent and sponsorship letter
my letter of employment ,cac documents,work id ,hubby tax clearance certificate,landed property documents,some invoices and reciept
evidence of business relationship with other company in nigeria,marriage certificate,etc
collections from switching company(agreement)
evidence of stock balance

biometric done 3rd march 2022
collection mail-7th april 2022
passport collected 8th april 2022

nairaland has everything we need to get our visa approved.I did all myself.

As far as am aware you do bio for all UK visas, unless they are under 5 years old.

Let the company introduce you properly and ensure you write a good cover letter to emplain your role in the company.

Hello family... I am working for my family company is it OK to submit my employment letter and also add the company cac documents as proof that the company belongs to my family? Maybe I can as well write a cover letter to explain? I am using my personal account statement tho

you may also need an introduction letter from the company
ensure that the company has an active CAC PROFILE
if possible add the company statement of account if you can have access to it

I do not need to argue with you or anyone about this. Go to your bank and you would confirm that all Nigerian banks provide the service for embassies (not only the British High Commission) to be able to access applicant's bank statements through a password that you would submit with your application.

to the best of my knowledge about embassy confirmation.The embassy sends the statement via email to the compliance unit and the complaince unit forwards to the issuing branch or the operations manager of the issuing branch for confirmation.

please note that part of the things confirmed is but to limited to balances alone and alteration.



the embassy does not directly confirm what the balance on the account is.The confirmation is at the descretion of the officer handling the case and how meticulous the officer is and how much attention to the details the officer pays.
but once such is recieved the person handling it checks to see if the balance as at the time statement was printed correlates ,with was is on the system,if they statement has been tampered with (they randomly search for credit or debit entries noted in the sent statement against what is on the system.bla bla bla


but in 2022 who alters of uses oluwole bank statement again.?

About direct access to statement with pin .

This is given to the embassy by the applicant ,which means you agree to allow the embassy access you bank details hence this indemify the bank from issues whatsoever that might arise from disclosure.

so sorry about the refusal.It will end in praise.Those people can be very annoying .once its a group application and one person especially the principal is rejected every other person too get rejected.

what date did you do your biometric?

my cousins had their biometric on the 3rd of march and uptil now no mail from tls or ukvi

Although we are aware of the 6weeks average time for decision now but they are worried because alot had their decision within 2-3weeks recently.

please is it too early yo do a mail?

Finally,
My husband got his visa today after initial denial.
He replied and made necessary corrections
Biometric was jan 5 2022
Tls mail for passport collection was feb1 2022
He picked up his passport with visa feb 2 2022

Also about CAC his company is showing inactive on Cac search online. But he attached the evidence of annual filing to his application. I uploaded that earlier.

Book another accommodation. You don't have to stay where you indicated in your VAF.

The point is decision has not being made yet on the application. What if the eco verify the proof of accommodation?

In a case where ones application has not been decided and the proof of reservation is mearnt to be charged and was cancelled before the due date what can be done,

My cousin was supposed to travel for 15days from december 15-30th 2021 but her visa was not out and booking.com sent a mail that her card will be charged on the 7th of december and a reminder sent to her and she has funds in the card and cant be moved out cos its a credit card,she then cancelled the reservation and the apartment is no longer up for booking again and uptill now her visa is not out.what can be done biko.thanks

Was there proof that he got salaries monthly from his business on the personal account he attached?

I think all he just did was to show deposit without stating what does deposits are for and why?

He needs to be well detailed about his salary account to justify the said amount shown that he earns.

He uploaded his company account but from the refusal they didn’t acknowledge they saw it. Although there was no reference on his cover letter relating both. Thanks so much�

One of the mistake noted was the self employed and employed thing. But the area of business not generating income , I don’t think they bothered to look at the business account statement. Two company account statement was uploaded.
He submitted the company account and tax clearance which was not acknowledged in the refusal. What else does he need to submit again

Sorry about this. These ECOs seem to make alot of mistakes! Also, cross-check his application form and the information provided. Make sure that this next application is fool-proof from end to end. You should also back it up with a very convincing cover letter that breaks down his intention to travel, that explains the previous refusal and that also explains both his personal and company finances. He should give a very good and understandable breakdown in this letter. Let them not have any reason to deny him at all. Because sometimes, when you address one issue, they will purposely look for another reason to deny someone. I don't trust those people.

Also, was it standard or priority application that your husband did? How many working days after his biometric did it take before he received this letter?

My husband has his biometric on the 7th of October 2021 and it was transferred to DMC same day. Today is the 40th working day and no update both refusal and approval .

It’s showing transferred to VAC (this system glitch issue)

Good day, concerning the annual filling , we filled ours for 2020 and it’s was recieved and acknowledged but still showing inactive. I submitted the acknowledgement like that to ukvi. If the visa na my own they will give me.

A lot of things don’t work in uar.

To be Candid,

I understand the nature of your business, however, UK Embassy has made visa process difficult for Business or Company Directors who don't pay themselves salaries.

If you can go through the process(es) other Business/Company Directors have gone through; such as paying yourself monthly salary to reflect your monthly income, then you are good to go.

As for me, i cannot do that and i won't, it's a place i have been before and nothing so special.

As a company director that pays himself or her self salary. And have enough for the trip (two months disaposable income and extra savings in his account as it should be.

Is there any need to provide /present the company bank statement in addition to personal statement of account.?
