Nice write up.. Little addition. ![]() For students that are asthmatic, please keep your inhaler either seritide or ventolin close to where is reachable when the attack comes up....I've seen a lady died of asthma because she was too breathless to reach her inhaler from the upper case of wardrobe where she kept it. Babes, me your boyfriend know that you are asthmatic if you have one. He may be a life safer.. Bros/sis/dad/mum, ensure you have extra inhaler in your handbags, car saves , at home even in your office ...you never can tell when a stranger with pungent body spray/perfume will trigger an attack... Nigeria coach Rohr to stick with core squad for World Cup Nigeria coach Gernot Rohr has ruled out bringing in new players to bolster his squad for the 2018 World Cup in Russia. The West Africans have been hit by a goalkeeping crisis; first choice Carl Ikeme was diagnosed with leukaemia, both Daniel Akpeyi and his replacement Ikechukwu Ezenwa have failed to impress while Francis Uzoho is inexperienced. Rohr is not tempted to call up another goalkeeper, despite growing calls from a section of fans for him to recall the country's most capped player Vincent Enyeama from retirement. "We have built a good environment for the team and I believe all the players gave everything to secure the ticket to Russia," Rohr told BBC Sport. "It looks very impossible to get Carl Ikeme to play in Russia, but Ikechukwu Ezenwa showed in big matches so far that he can be in goal. "The young boy Uzoho had a great game against Argentina so I've sent the goalkeeper trainer to continue to provide support for this boy in Spain. "We are not limited as we also have other goalkeepers like Akpeyi, Ajiboye and Alampasu in the team, so I believe we are fine." At the last tournament, Nigeria drafted in experienced Peter Odemwingie and Shola Ameobi, with the former scoring the only goal against debutants Bosnia-Herzegovina to give Nigeria their solitary victory in Brazil. Many have cited a lack of experience in the current squad, but Rohr is confident he has the personnel to get the job done and will stick with his current group in Russia. "You have to respect what the former players have done in the past but be careful that you don't try to bring them back because people think so," said Rohr. "We have big experience in captain [John] Mikel Obi, Victor Moses and our left back Elderson who is now playing in Belgium. "If we feel the need to strengthen this squad we know what to do because for nearly two years now we've had a good atmosphere so far. Another good news is that the young striker in Wolfsburg [Victor] Osimhen is also playing now. "I will make the [provisional] squad based on this group and also give one of the CHAN boys a chance as well. "We can't just keep bringing in player after player when you already have those who have proven that they can do the job," Rohr added. The Super Eagles will be making a sixth appearance at the World Cup tournament in Russia wehere they will play Argentina, Iceland and Croatia in Group D. The three-time African champions reached the round of 16 in 1994, 1998 and 2014 but exit the 2002 and 2010 tournaments in the group stages. Fortuna Sittard Denies Oliseh's Illegal Activities Claim Dutch second tier club Fortuna Sittard has denied that former Nigeria captain Sunday Oliseh was suspended due to his "refusal to to participate in illegal activities". Oliseh was suspended on Wednesday for what the club "unacceptable actions". In response Oliseh claimed the club wanted him to "violate the law". On Thursday a statement from Sittard sais they would be taking legal advice and look to sacking Oliseh. "Fortuna does not recognize itself at all in these accusations, which were not highlighted by Sunday Oliseh to the club," the club wrote on its website. "The case will be presented by Fortuna Sittard to the arbitration committee of the KNVB (the Dutch Football Association), an independent body, which will now make an assessment of whether there is sufficient grounds to terminate the employment contract of Sunday Oliseh. The club also insisted that it did not rush into its decision to suspend Oliseh. "Fortuna Sittard expressly did not take the decision to suspend Sunday Oliseh overnight," the statement continued. "The innumerable culpable acts as well as the disrupted employment relationship on the part of Sunday Oliseh have unfortunately led Fortuna to make him non-active. "Fortuna Sittard has been legally advised by the Federation of Paid Football Organizations (FBO) during the entire process." They outlined why they took the decision to put Oliseh on "non-active" duties. "The suspension of the trainer is emphatically not motivated by the four successive losses, although it is fair to say that the disrupted employment relationship between Sunday Oliseh, the group of players and other employees of Fortuna Sittard has had a negative influence." Oliseh was appointed as Sittard coach in late December 2016. Sittard finished 17th in the 20-team league at the end of last season but are currently third in the table and are five points behind leader NEC. With eight wins and just one loss earlier this season the club actually won what is called the "second period" of the league, which is made up of four periods. The club play in the Eerste Divisie, which is the professional league below the Eredivisie, Holland's topflight, and it consists of 20 clubs. The Eerste Divisie champions gain automatic promotion to the Eredivisie, while eight clubs made up of the period champions and the other best-ranked teams, will compete in play-offs for two further promotion places. Guess Who Wants To Gate Crash Nigeria Team To Russia? Sammy Ameobi has not given up hope of gate-crashing Nigeria’s World Cup squad. The Bolton Wanderers winger pledged allegiance to the Super Eagles in 2014 despite previously representing England at Under-21s level. Ameobi has been in good form since returning from a knee injury sustained in pre-season and has three goals from his 19 starts in the Championship. Having previously played for Nigeria’s Under-20s in two friendlies in 2011, the 25-year-old would love to make the step up to senior level, emulating his brother Shola, who played at the 2014 World Cup. Ameobi hopes with regular football he is now getting at the Macron Stadium he may yet impress the international selectors and make his World Cup dream a reality. “I want to solely represent Nigeria,” he said. “Hopefully that opportunity will come but it will only possibly happen if I play well on a weekly basis, which is what I am aiming to do here at Bolton Wanderers. “With it being a World Cup year who knows what could happen? “It would be great to be a part of that, but there’s a lot of hard work ahead for me if that’s even possible. “It isn’t easy breaking into the international team. Shola did it and I can only hope to follow in his footsteps!” Source:http://megasportsarena.com/guess-who-wants-to-gate-crash-nigeria-team-to-russia/ |
Kelechi Iheanacho Asks to leave Leicester City Kelechi Iheanacho has told Leicester boss he needs to go out on loan for regular football, with Newcastle said to be up for a deal if Jorgensen is no longer a possibility. The 21 year old Kelechi Iheanacho has had a tough time at Leicester after his £25m move last summer, Newcastle claimed to be interested back then, before reality kicked in and Rafa had to settle for £5m Joselu on a very limited budget. The former Manchester City striker has only started two Premier League matches for Leicester and played only 255 PL minutes in total with no goals. More or less limited to cup games, Iheanacho has a decent five goals in four cup starts (plus one off the bench), including scoring twice in Saturday’s 5-1 win over Peterborough. Looking a good player at Man City and with a very decent goals to start ratio, Kelechi Iheanacho just couldn’t though get a regular game at the Etihad due to the competition for places. At Man City, the Nigerian international scored 21 goals (all competitions) in 20 starts (plus 44 appearances off the bench). It is over 10 weeks since Kelechi Iheanacho even came off the bench in the Premier League, so a loan deal looks likely, to somewhere. If there is any substance to claims of Newcastle interest, then hopefully Leicester wouldn’t see a problem in the player going to St James Park. The Foxes have really picked up since Claude Puel’s arrival and are nowhere near the relegation zone, now sitting in seventh place with 34 points and only a couple of wins off certain safety. Only two days now until deadline day and the clock ticking ever louder for Newcastle to bring in essential signings. Source :http://megasportsarena.com/iheanacho-asks-to-leave-leicester-city/ |
