Leyemoshood: Why are you doing GIC? Check out CIBC Bank in Canada and send them mail. I know. I’m using CIBC. I want to know how I’ll send the 10,000CAD. Is it form A or something else? |

Samlolly28: Amen. Don't worry dear everything is under control I was also refused on the same grounds as you, the onus lies on us to prove beyond reasonable doubt the source and availability of funds.
Adobe gave me issues too so I opted for the new portal since there's no need to fill anything using adobe. The only issue with the new portal is the size limit for document upload is 2mb, if you can successfully merge your documents to 2mb or less you can give it a shot. hi, thank you so much i will try that now. thank you so much |

Hi everyone, i am at the edge of my reapplication, as i was refused due to insufficient funds. My mom had also applied with me and she was refused because of this (The purpose of your visit to Canada is not consistent with a temporary stay given the details you have provided in your application.). I do not understand cos i clearly stated in the damn letter that she was only escorting me to school and besides i have 3 other siblings. Anyway, my dad just got some money he had as a fixed deposit of (about 10M) he sent to his account to present as proof of funds. Now we have to find some explanation for the lump sum. Advices please?
A family friend advised us not to include my mom's application again because it can raise questions (?) Someone please help! Thank you |

Teemenzo: Firstly where are you rushing to? Baba calm down and collect you gcms first. Go and be chilling with the big boys. To submit a fantastic application late us better than submitting a shabby one. Don't inform school yet. Just relax. You go still go canada haha, i already ordered my gcms notes, it's just that i was so angry when i saw that letter, o ka mi lara gaan ni Thank you sir |

And no be to go forge POF with the bank Good evening sir, i have a question, So i got my refusal letter on June 17, I wanted to know if i should inform my school, although i am preparing to apply for another one as i still want to resume to school by September, by God's grace. Fardowsa: I got my admission in January, we made the first tuition deposit in February, took about 2 months to gather documents for the visa process. I submitted my application on May 14, 2022. Biometrics was done 23 May, 2022, updated same day. I had an upfront medical exam on 16 April 2022 Medicals was updated on 16 May 2022
I got my refusal letter, 17 June 2022. Reason: insufficient financial funds for me and accompanying family member (my mom)
I might apply again, so i thought to use the GIC as proof of funds with CIBC. Is this advisable? Does anyone know how the process works? how do i order gcms notes
i feel i still have time to apply and also get my visa before school resumption in the fall.
Thank you hi so regarding my refusal, do you guys think i should inform my school? links on how and where to order gcms notes |

ShowYoung: GIC or no GIC, apply to get GCMS notes and pinpoint the VOs concerns. The solution might not be in getting a GIC.
You need to map out a good strategy in tackling the exact reason instead of going by trial and error method. hi thanks, which website do you recommend to order gcms notes then? |

Derick01: I heard this method takes long these days for banks to send the money. hi Derick01. omo you heard right, I am not trying to scare you or anything. But I am saying this cos i can relate. By God's grace, I am supposed to be leaving for Canada in the fall. I am going as an undergrad, 17 yrs. I've made all of my tuition payment using the Form A method. The initial deposit my school requested was processed by the CBN. That just took like a week in general (filling the form, getting the approval, and the bank disbursing the funds to flywire who then sent it to my school). I am currently trying to pay my second deposit so i can even add it to my visa application sef. My dad is my sponsor. The second tuition deadline was in March ending, I had filled and submitted this Form A 2 weeks before the deadline hoping it would all be over in a week just like the initial but God had other plans. Here is how it went and how its going: So the first form A the CBN rejected it, after waiting for odidi 2 weeks, ( i had exceeded the deadline, i had to start sending mails to my school to inform them that it wasn't my fault, that the money was still being processed, * i cried* ) My dad has a friend that works in the CBN, so he contacted his friend, his friend linked us to someone who works in the form A field as that wasn't his line. ( we used UBA bank, but the reason of rejection was that supposedly, UBA doesn't process college funds. And they were the ones that processed the first one o. we sha mailed them and the bank customer care said the same thing). After seeing the issue, then the man advised us to apply again but with my dad's GTB account instead as he has an upper hand in GTBank and one other one like this. We applied again, The man helped us fast track so it could get on the bank's disbursement queue as soon as possible. they didn't do anything to my form until 3 weeks later(ADB_DISBURSEMENT REVIEWER). By this time, it was already the middle of April. We contacted the GTB customer care, and they told us to get in touch with the account officer. We started talking with the account officer, he was just telling us to calm down and that he didnt know why the cbn wasn't releasing funds.( i was annoyed). This went on for almost 3 weeks, my flywire payment had expired and i had to make another. Anyway, long story short, one of the accountants in the bank my dad picked to process the funds called us one day and told me to send some documents. After i did, 2 days later, they removed my dad's money. i was so happy. For the past 1 month plus. We thought they would have started to process the funds to send to flywire, up until we called the guy that called us from the processing bank branch, who now explained to us that that nothing was being done yet. (AH!) after 4 days! i was already wondering if we were duped He now explained what was happening( allegedly the funds i requested wasn't what was displaying on their system, it was displaying exactly double of what i had requested) we had to apply for another one. I think those working there already know my dad for repetitive Form A because they approved it the next day . Now we are waiting for the bank to send the money to flywire. IN SHORT, WE NEVER FINISH. GOOD LUCK TO YOU |

Congratulations o! I'm waiting for mine too, inshaAllah Omoba95: Goodday Guys!! I am the one the Lord has shown mercy on this glorious day
Kindly join me in thanking the King of Kings & Lord of Lords who made today possible despite how I almost lost faith
With Jesus joy, I announce to that I have received my PPR!!!
Second time applicant
God is too faithful to leave us, just trust in him & you won’t regret it.
I join my faith with everyone still expecting & declare we shall all testify of God’s goodness soonest
(Ps: I had the above saved in my notes in faith before even getting PPR)
I also remember posting sometime in May about receiving PPR before the end of the month & nothing happened, little did I know God had other plans
PPR landed June 1st, 2022, however; I didn’t know about it till June 3rd, 2022.
Timeline below
First Application; Applied Nov 22nd, 2021 Upfront Medicals : April 3rd, 2021 Updated to pass: No idea (didn’t have access to my portal) Eligibility review: No idea (didn’t have access to my portal) Breakfast of life lol: March 23,2022
Reason for refusal: ‘I am not satisfied that you will leave Canada at the end of your stay, based on personal assets and financial assets’
I cried my eyes out & almost lost all hope, called my agent to ask for a way forward and if I should stop attending classes & defer the remaining semesters. The thought of the time, energy & money spent made the tears roll out well
P.s- I had resumed classes online (started January, 2022),it hasn’t been a funny situation especially with the time difference & economy issues but I thank God & I am currently in my second semester in centennial college. It’s a 2years program.
*Back to my timeline gist* After careful review of my previous application, it was spotted that my Dad’s account(my sponsor) had an explained lump sum of about 13m that entered at once. So we knew where to tackle while waiting for my GCMS notes.
Things I did differently; Gave a detailed LOE of the lump sum Printed a new bank statement, this time the opening balance covered the lump sum with more inflow compared to the last statement I paid my full tuition for the first year Got a notarized gift of deed of 5m in my personal account Submitted my first semester Academic transcript Added a lot of Prayers too (very important)
Second Application: Submitted April 10, 2022 Eligibility review started: May 11, 2022 PPR: June 1st, 2022
I have also booked for a new Medicals since the previous one has expired to avoid immigration stories/wahala, I was surprised I didn’t get a medical request with my second application.
The feeling has been surreal, patiently waiting for my passport because I don’t even know where to start from, any suggestions will be appreciated. |

makano: Hello House
Trust we all had a great Easter holiday.
Real quick,
I have been observing or seeing an increased number of cases where people have received BVL but PPR is pending. Posting this here to see and track success for those who received BVL and decision was received after how many days/weeks and months.
Below are samples that I know of personally:
Submission: Nov 10th Biometrics: Nov 12th Medical request: March 15th BVL: March 24th No Final Decision yet
Application Submission Date 11 January 2022 Upfront Medical Passed 23 March 2022 Eligibility Started 1 April 2022 BVL/Correspondence Letter dropped 14 April 2022 No Final Decision yet
It has been observed that this is a recent operation of the IRCC officials , what I dont know is if its only Limited to the Nairobi Office or its across all IRCC centers ..
If your application falls in this recent operation, please let the house know so we can eventually know the outcome of these affected applications, cos to be honest it hasnt been easy for these Applicants.. IRCC doing what it knows how to do best, giving young Nigerans High Bp..
It will all end in praise..
Peace Good afternoon sir, my name is Firdaus. I was told about Nairaland when I started my whole Canada international school application. I’ve been reading this thread for about three weeks now. I just seems like most of what is here is based on the post graduate process. I’m 17. I really need your assistance for the sake of my application. So I’ve applied to my school which is a college by the way in Ontario, I’ve paid my tuition and I did my upfront medical exam at qlife family clinic. I need your help regarding attaining my study visa |
