You don't change a government with hate and malice, you change government with tact and intelligence. This sustained onslaught against Buhari cannot move him from that seat. Never seen such a people who sleep and wake up with constricted venom against a man who aspired to be where he is today.

The Nigerian presidential seat is not for Christians or Muslims, it is for that Nigerian who is a Nigerian and has the Nigerian blood in him. A nation bedevilled by calamity and the only advocacy by some of her citizens is that the president should resign or be voted out. Nothing is more sickening and illogical than this.

Sincere people rally around themselves to solve problems, but here people gather in mosques and churches plotting the removal of a constitutionally elected man. The man you are so maliciously blackmailing has his own supporters who are doing everything to return their candidate. Instead of your surreptitious plot, why not promote your candidate, polish him and sell his candidacy?

Blackmail doesn't change a government, disguised venom don't win elections only sincere electioneering ideas wins election. These outdated strategies of using religion and ethnicity cannot fetch any electoral values. This is more than 3 years since Muhammadu Buhari assumed leadership, yet no single person has been islamized as peddled by the wicked merchants of mischief. If I were you, I will resign to fate in the matter of this man. This is the same man that was set to die when his car exploded in volcanic IED, this man had his character mutilated on TVs, Radios, Newspapers, in Churches and Mosques; in fact he nearly lost his life but guess what? He defied all these excruciating experiences to come out strong because God was not done with him. Do not begrudge this man, it is not him manifesting mortality, it is God manifesting his awesomeness on this man. People like this are special; he has this special anointing, like the rock in the river, he is firmly rooted. Use wisdom to dislodge not these weak conspiracies flying round.

The Muhammadu Buhari I know is not here to promote any agenda other than his sworn oath of regaining the nation from the claw of usurper, looters, vampires and the acclaimed landlords of Nigeria.

Twenty-three years after it was created the first aircraft on Thursday landed at the Bayelsa State International Airport.

The 3.5 kilometer runway airport according to the Governor, Seriake Dickson was built at the cost of over N65 billion.

Dickson said it is the first aircraft to land in any airport in Izon land, the heartland of the Ijaws.

He said the clarification over the cost of the airport project had become imperative because of allegations peddled by Senator Heineken Logbobiri who said the project gulped between N120 to N150 billion.

The senator had alleged that the airport was flooded.

Speaking at the airport when an Air Peace Embraer Regional Jet that flew from Lagos landed at the runway, to the tumultuous welcome of Bayelsa indigenes, Dickson said the facility will open the state to the world; through attraction of investments; export of agricultural produce; tourism and other economic activities.

Dickson said he was more than excited to receive the first aircraft into the airport as a Valentine gift to the good people of the state as well as a fitting achievement to commemorate the seven years anniversary of Bayelsa.

He said the project was conceived, developed and built with scarce resources from Bayelsa State Government at austere times like this.

He said its completion is part of the promise of his administration to accelerate the economic development of Bayelsa State, which deserves a better deal in the Nigerian project.

He said the airport will resolve inconveniences associated with connecting flights by Bayelsans through neighboring states.

Dickson said the Federal Government which promised to build an airport terminal in the state reneged in its promise, a development, he said pushed his administration to think out of the box to deliver the project.



He said previous efforts by other governors to have done this did not materialize, hence the zeal and deterministic. By his administration to complete the airport in record time.

Though the airport has not been officially commissioned, Dickson said a date will be fixed to celebrate the infrastructural revolution in Bayelsa State.

Dickson said the airport will generate jobs for thousands of Bayelsa indigenes and others who are poised to contribute to the economic development of the state.

He said though work in progress , some issues about the airport concerning compensation to host communities and contractors were yet to be resolved.

He commended aviation agencies including the Federal Airports Authority of Nigeria ( FAAN) and Nigerian Civil Aviation Authority ( NCAA) for this cooperation and relevant approval for the project.

Also speaking, the Chief Operating Officer, Air Peace, Mrs Toyin Olajide commended Bayelsa State Government for the feat assuring that the Memorandum of Understanding ( MoU) signed with the state will facilitate regular flight services on the route.

She urged people of the state to take advantage of the fight services to stimulate business for the state.

She said the airline like the state government has scored many firsts by venturing into feats that have accelerated economic growth for Nigeria.

Also speaking, Senator Ben Murray Bruce said Bayelsa International Airport will stimulate economic growth for the state ; attract investment opportunities and boost tourism.

Monica Witt: US Air Force officer defects to Iran with information 'seriously damaging' to national security, officials reveal

A US Air Force officer has defected to
Iran and shared information that could cause "serious damage" to America's national security, officials have revealed.
The former Air Force intelligence specialist was charged with espionage and was accused of working for Iran, according to an unsealed federal
indictment .
The announcement arrived after Assistant Attorney General for National Security John Demers and other senior officials held a call with reporters to discuss what they called “a national security related action involving Iran”.
Mr Demers was joined by US Attorney for Washington, Jessie Liu, FBI Executive Assistant Director for National Security Jay Tabb, Treasury Department director of Foreign Assets Control Adrea Gacki and Air Force Office of Special Investigations Special Agent Terry Phillips.
The officials discussed the unsealed indictment against Monica Witt , a former counterintelligence officer for the Air Force Office of Special Investigations. Ms Witt defected to Iran nearly six years ago in 2013.
Also charged are four Iranian hackers. Prosecutors say they targeted former colleagues of Ms Witt’s in the intelligence community.
The indictment says the four Iranians were acting on behalf of the government-linked Iranian Revolutionary Guard Corps.
“It is a sad day for America when one of its citizens betrays our country,” Mr Demers, the head of the Justice Department’s national security division, said on the call.
